Abstract

This research was conducted to find the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) as reporting compliance with sharia principles. Descriptive method is used in this research with quantitative approach, then content analysis testing is done by applying six indicators consisting of; products and services, environment, employees, community, and corporate governance of funding and investment. The 37 companies involved in this study were selected using purposive sampling method with the benchmark of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) from 2018 to 2022 consecutively. Secondary data was used in the study by downloading the company's financial statements on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website and or related companies. This study shows that the ISR criteria are not suitable for all companies, especially on the criteria for the halal status of products. Because these criteria can only be done by companies that run their business in the food and beverage sector or companies that produce consumer goods. Meanwhile, companies that run their business in the property sector and others cannot disclose the halal status of products. With this research, researchers hope that companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 will pay more attention to ISR disclosure in order to increase consumer confidence in the company's compliance with sharia principles.

Abstract

Produk halal olahan hasil laut adalah produk yang berasal dari sumber daya laut yang diproses sesuai dengan syariat islam dan memiliki nilai tambah bagi konsumen. Produk ini memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dikembangkan di Kabupaten Bangkalan yang merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil laut di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan produk halal olahan hasil laut di Kabupaten Bangkalan, dengan studi kasus produk olahan hasil laut di Kecamatan Sepuluh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder, lalu untuk teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara Survei, Wawancara, Observasi, Studi Dokumentasi dan Fokus Grup Diskusi (FGD). Tahap analisis data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di Kecamatan Sepuluh Kabupaten Bangkalan. Luaran yang ditargetkan yaitu Publikasi Jurnal Nasional.

Abstract

Produk halal olahan ikan tongkol merupakan salah satu usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi kinerja UMKM tersebut dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa UMKM ini memiliki kekuatan (strengths) berupa ketersediaan bahan baku, permintaan pasar yang tinggi, produk yang berkualitas dan bersertifikat halal, serta dukungan pemerintah dan lembaga terkait. Namun, UMKM ini juga menghadapi kelemahan (weaknesses) seperti keterbatasan modal, teknologi, sumber daya manusia, pemasaran dan manajemen. Peluang (opportunities) yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh UMKM ini antara lain adalah meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap produk halal, adanya pasar ekspor, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta kerjasama dengan mitra strategis. Sedangkan ancaman (threats) yang dihadapi oleh UMKM ini meliputi persaingan dengan produk sejenis, fluktuasi harga bahan baku, perubahan selera konsumen, serta peraturan dan standar yang ketat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh UMKM ini adalah strategi SO (strengths-opportunities), yaitu memanfaatkan kekuatan internal untuk memanfaatkan peluang eksternal. Beberapa langkah yang dapat dilakukan adalah meningkatkan produksi dan diversifikasi produk, memperluas jangkauan pasar baik lokal maupun internasional, memanfaatkan media sosial dan online untuk promosi dan penjualan, serta menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak-pihak yang relevan.

Abstract

The rise of digital wallets in society, especially the millennial generation, has driven the concept of a cashless society where individuals use online transaction activities instead of physical cash for financial transactions. Gen Z has the potential to contribute to expanding Zakat acquisitions in Indonesia with online payments. This convenience can influence Gen Z's interest in paying zakat via digital platforms. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This research uses a purposive sampling technique with primary data originating from questionnaires distributed to the respondents' criteria in the research. The research results show that the image of the institution (X1) and convenience (X3) influence the interest in paying zakat through digital zakat among Gen Z in Gresik Regency. Zakat literacy (X2) does not influence interest in paying zakat via digital zakat among Gen Z in the Gresik Regency.

Abstract

General Background: The rapid expansion of digital banking in Indonesia has driven banks to develop super apps that integrate financial and lifestyle services. Specific Background: BYOND by BSI and BALE by BTN represent two major innovations reflecting distinct strategic orientations—sharia-based digital integration and lifestyle-oriented financial ecosystems. Knowledge Gap: Despite their rapid adoption, limited comparative studies analyze how these apps differ in user experience, feature effectiveness, and progress toward becoming full super apps. Aims: This study aims to compare BYOND and BALE in terms of service features, security, transactional ease, user satisfaction, and super-app readiness. Results: Findings indicate that BYOND excels in sharia-integrated services and transactional completeness, while BALE performs strongly in mortgage-related features and financial lifestyle support. Both applications are perceived as secure, though concerns over potential data leakage remain. Novelty: This study provides one of the first qualitative comparative analyses of Indonesia’s emerging banking super apps using user-experience-driven evidence. Implications: The results suggest that BYOND is closer to achieving super-app maturity, whereas BALE holds significant potential through ecosystem expansion, offering strategic insights for digital banking development in Indonesia. Highlights: BYOND by BSI excels in integrating financial features and sharia services that are close to the super app concept. BALE by BTN is strong in housing finance and personal financial management services, especially those related to mortgages. Both applications are considered quite secure and facilitate digital transactions, but there are still concerns about data leaks and cyber attacks.
