Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan merancang sebuah desain komunikasi visual untuk Iklan Layanan Masyarakat (ILM) mengenai pelecehan seksual pada anak sebagai media sosialisasi kepada para orang tua dan masyarakat luas agar lebih paham dan mengetahui efek atau akibat yang timbul akibat dari pelecehan seksual. Kekerasan pada anak pada saat ini semakin sering terjadi, baik itu di perkotaan maupun di pedesaan. Salah satu kekerasan pada anak adalah pelecehan seksual. Pelecehan seksual dapat terjadi pada anak siapa pun, dimana pun, dan kapan saja. Pelakunya bisa saja orang dewasa yang belum menikah atau pun yang sudah menikah, dan bisa juga dilakukan oleh orang terdekat korban. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kualitatif. Peneliti ingin merancang beberapa media sebagai sarana penyampaian ILM ini seperti spanduk, poster, baju, atau tas jinjing untuk belanja agar lebih mudah untuk dapat diketahui atau dilihat oleh masyarakat luas khususnya orang tua. Kata kunci: ILM, pelecehan seksual pada anak, desain komunikasi visual AbstractThis research is aimed to design a public service ads on child sexual abuse as a medium of socialization to parents and a wider community for a better understanding and knowing the results effecting from sexual harassment. Violence in children today is increasingly common, both urban and rural. One of child abuse is sexual harassment. Sexual harassment can happen to any child, anywhere, anytime. The culprit may be an adult who is unmarried or married, and can also be done by the person closest to the victim. The method used in this research is qualitative. Researcher want to design some media as a means of delivering these ads such as banners, posters, clothes, or handbags for shopping to make it easier to be known or seen by the wider community especially the parents. Keywords: public service ads, child sexual abuse, visual communication design

Abstract

Promotion is an important part of marketing goods and services. Promotions can contain information that can attract consumers' interest in the goods and services we offer. With the promotion, it is hoped that there will be an increase in sales figures for the product or service being promoted. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage markets its villas and lodging rooms through social media such as Facebook and Instagram as well as online booking applications such as Oyo. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage only contains information related to villas and lodging in the form of Facebook and Instagram page statuses, not through advertisements on the social media. The Oyo application only contains information related to lodging rooms and villas. The information provided is also very limited, only regarding the price and facilities in the room or villa. In fact, the natural scenery around Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage is very beautiful to look at. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage is surrounded by Gundaling Hill, local people's plantations, and beautiful views of Mount Sibayak. The community service activities carried out have the aim of promoting Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage and providing information related to Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage to the wider community. This activity also has several benefits, namely helping the management in promoting their villas and inns, making it easier for the public to obtain information related to Sapo Rumbia Villas and Cottages, and increasing Sapo Rumbia's income from the promotions that have been made. The result of this activity is to add promotional media for Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage, so that it can increase public knowledge of the natural beauty around Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage which can add positive value to Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage.
