Abstract

This research is based on the condition of adult beginners who study piano in a course institution but are constrained by internet network disturbances. Thus the researchers created a digital-based piano training concept by adding video tutorials as a supplement to piano training media. Video tutorials are online instructional videos that are connected indirectly with content in the form of stages to carry out specific activities. The use of this video tutorial is intended for beginner piano students aged 9 years or older who are then categorized as adult beginners. The author made this article using the interview method and literature review. The results of this study are 5 piano teachers using video conferencing technology on the zoom application for the concept of digital-based piano training; The advantage of digital-based piano training is that both piano teachers and adult beginners can learn piano anytime and anywhere; while the weakness of digital-based piano training is the internet network which is sometimes disconnected and delayed; On this concept, tutorial videos are shared via whatsapp app before piano training meeting on zoom app; There are 5 stages in making video tutorials, namely 1) Planning materials and indicators of competency achievement; 2) Finding ideas and imagining the concept; 3) Creating Story Lines; 4) Making PPT, writing melody scripts and recording audio visuals; 5) Editing

Abstract

Artikel ini berjudul pelestarian kaulinan barudak melalui kajian nilai-nilai kearifan lokal permainan pérépét jéngkol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan kaulinan  barudak melalui kajian nilai-nilai kearifan lokal permainan pérépét jéngkol. Kaulinan pérépét jéngkol merupakan permainan anak khas Jawa Barat yang memiliki nilai kearifan lokal (local genius). Paradigma yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah paradigma kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur dan deskriptif berbasis fenomenologis. Temuan pada penelitian ini antara lain yaitu, struktur pada kakawihan pérépét jéngkol adalah AA, pelestarian kaulinan pérépét jéngkol dilakukan dengan culture knowledge, kaulinan pérépét jéngkol mengandung nilai kearifan lokal yang meliputi nilai agama, nilai pendidikan, nilai sosial, dan nilai hiburan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the musical and semiotic analysis of the Kembang Gadung song. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. In the data processing process, the researcher systematically compiles the data obtained from the literature review and analysis. Based on the data from the literature review results, the researcher will analyze the Kembang Gadung song sung by the singer in the Cuta Muda Rancaekek group. The findings of this study are that the Kembang Gadung song has the structure AAA'A' A''A'' A. This study concludes that the lyrics of the Kembang Gadung song as the opening of the Kuda Renggong performance have denotative and connotative meanings that refer to the values ​​of faith and local wisdom values ​​that are reinforced by the melody of the Kembang Gadung song itself.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of selecting and implementing learning models in piano instruction for children with autism at Blue Notes Music School. The background of this research is rooted in the need to adapt music education strategies to meet the specific needs of students with autism spectrum disorder, ensuring effective and responsive learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one educator and three autistic students. The results show that the educator adopted a combination of the TEACCH and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approaches, tailored to the students' visual, emotional, and behavioral needs. The selection process was conducted reflectively and based on the individual responses of students during lessons. The study concludes that the appropriate and adaptive choice of learning models can enhance focus, comfort, and participation of children with autism in piano learning.
