Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out empirically the influence of learning method and response capabilities Solfejio music.Solfejio capacity is a form of music practice which includes (is composed of): Sight Reading, Sight Singing, Ear Training, Sight Playing or Prima Vista. This research focuses on Sight Reading and Sight Singing for Grade II Primary Students. Significant means of interaction effect between learning methods and response capabilities Solfejio music.Zoltan Kodaly learning method with high response would allow student to upgrade its Solfejio capacity.The study result can be used as input, consideration, and development of music art teacher of elementary student in general.Keywords: the influence learning method, response, solfeijo

Abstract

Musik kontemporer merupakan salah satu wujud sikap kreatif komponisdalam perluasan gramatika musik dari masa ke masa. Komponis masa kinidituntut untuk memiliki gaya sendiri yang khas Di dalam musikkontemporer terkandung makna-makna pendidikan yang ditransfer menjadinilai-nilai pengajaran kreatif. Hakekat pengembangan gaya-gaya baru olehseorang komponis dalam mencipta dapat ditafsirkan sebagai sebuahkegiatan trial and error bagi para siswa. Fenomena inilah dapat menjadidasar dalam proses pembelajaran musik untuk pendidikan siswa.Pembelajaran musik melalui media musik kontemporer dapat memacukreativitas siswa. Apabila proses kreatif ini bisa ditanamkan dandikembangkan kepada para siswa niscaya dapat menumbuhkan sikappercaya diri dan kemandirian pada diri siswa.Kata kunci: Musik Kontemporer, Kebebasan Individual

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the Analysis TumbaoRhythm PatternonConga in Necesitas Tu. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was carried out from October 2020 to June 2021. The results of the study can be concluded that the most popular Basic of Latin Cuban is the tumbao pattern. The tumbao pattern is the basic pattern for playing conga in salsa music. In the song Necesitas Tu there are two types of variations of the tumbao pattern, namely: variation I and variation II. It can be concluded that the song Necesitas Tu by Blue Mambo has 9 (nine) parts, namely: intro, main theme, development section, interlude, solo, intro, main theme, development section, and coda. The section that has more than one variation of the tumbao rhythm pattern is the development section. Overall there are 4 (four) techniques used in the tumbao pattern such as heel, fingertip/toe, slap, and open tone. The implication of the results of this study is to explore conga instruments that are of interest in developing percussion skills. Music education institutions are to provide adequate facilities so that students are more active in exploring conga instruments, so that students are motivated to improve their abilities or skills in processing Latin percussion instruments as well as Indonesian ethnic percussion.

Abstract

Nyerau merupakan salah satu bentuk ekspresi musikal dalam ritual Asyeik di Dusun Empih, Kota Sungai Penuh. Ritual Asyeik sendiri merupakan tradisi yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai spiritual, sosial, dan budaya masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur dan bentuk nyerau dalam ritual Asyeik guna memahami peranannya dalam konteks ritual serta dinamika musikal yang terdapat di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi musik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan pelaku ritual, serta dokumentasi audiovisual. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan analisis musikal dan kontekstual untuk memahami struktur melodi, ritme, pola repetisi, serta aspek pertunjukan dalam nyerau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nyerau dalam ritual Asyeik memiliki struktur musik yang terdiri atas pola melodi yang berulang dengan variasi ornamenasi vokal khas. Bentuk nyerau bersifat solo vocal yang liriknya dinyanyikan secara strofik, pengulangan kembali melodi secara utuh namun dinyanyikan dengan pantun yang berulang. Selain itu, nyerau memiliki hubungan erat dengan unsur ritual lainnya  yang memperkuat makna sakral dari ritual Asyeik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa nyerau bukan hanya sekedar ekspresi musikal, tetapi juga menjadi media komunikasi spiritual dan sosial dalam ritual Asyeik. Pemahaman yang lebih dalam terhadap struktur dan bentuk nyerau dapat memberikan wawasan baru dalam kajian musik tradisional serta upaya pelestariannya di tengah budaya masyarakat Dusun Empih, Kota Sungai Penuh.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of selecting and implementing learning models in piano instruction for children with autism at Blue Notes Music School. The background of this research is rooted in the need to adapt music education strategies to meet the specific needs of students with autism spectrum disorder, ensuring effective and responsive learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving one educator and three autistic students. The results show that the educator adopted a combination of the TEACCH and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approaches, tailored to the students' visual, emotional, and behavioral needs. The selection process was conducted reflectively and based on the individual responses of students during lessons. The study concludes that the appropriate and adaptive choice of learning models can enhance focus, comfort, and participation of children with autism in piano learning.
