Abstract

In facing the era of openness of society 5.0, an ethical filter is needed with an effort to give meaning to the aesthetic values that are assets of national culture. Value education and 'urf are one of the counter hegemony in the millennial era. The flow of industrialization brings consequences for social change. The existence of a traditional religious system has its own charm. This phenomenon can be seen in the syncretism of the cembengan tradition that took place in sugar factories on the island of Java, especially in this study in Solo Raya. This study aims to describe the history, implementation of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane and the relevance of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane in the syncretism of the Cembengan tradition in terms of value education and 'urf. This research is a field research using primary and secondary data, and Milles and Huberman model analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the harmony of the community around the sugar factory in Solo Raya as a multicultural society can be seen from the ritual symbols and spiritual symbols in the Cembengan tradition which contains syncretism between Confucianism-Islam-Javanese which is integrated into mystical cultural discourse. The phenomenon of the procession of marrying ‘tebu’ cane/cembengan in the procession of the cane ‘manten tebu’ carnival is followed by the ijab qobul led by the penghulu who in this case is represented by the traditional leader and the procession ends with a sukur (the distribution of each ubo rampe). The value education of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane in the synchronization of the cembengan tradition can be seen from religious values and social values. When viewed from the implementation, it includes 'urf fi'li but from its scope it is 'urf Khash because it is only carried out by sugarcane farmers around the sugar factory. And in terms of assessment, it is urf shohih if the belief or belief in carrying out the tradition continues to ask God and will become 'urf fasid if there is a misunderstanding and causes damage to aqidah if it is done to ask the unseen ruler.

Abstract

The pandemic affects Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as an economic sub-sector. MSMEs products have marketing problems, so many unsold products. Traditional marketing strategies can not reach a vast market share, so income significantly declined during the Covid-19 pandemic. In Kejuron Ward, Taman District, the Madiun City, MSMEs actors consist of several industrial sectors such as food and clothing sales. During the COVID-19 pandemic, MSMEs actors in the Kejuron Ward tried to use alternatives to online selling. However, promotions in online selling were still not optimal to attract customers as offline promotions. The target issues were a lack of knowledge in digital marketing and less attractive products. Mentoring MSMEs through e-promotion as a rebranding strategy based on local wisdom was an effort to overcome the partners' problems. The empowerment model used in this community service was participatory assistance through lectures, discussions, and practices methods. There were significant differences in success indicators before and after socialization and practice regarding e-promotion as a local wisdom-based rebranding strategy. The most significant increase was knowledge levels which improved by 50% after the socialization. Thus, this community service could increase innovation and creativity in the target community and solve MSMEs' business problems in Kejuron Ward. In conclusion, mentoring MSMEs through e-promotion as a rebranding strategy based on local wisdom increases partners' knowledge in digital marketing, more attractive products packaging, and updated MSMEs' products with trending products. There should be ongoing assistance and communication to support the sustainability of this program

Abstract

Sharia pawn products (rahn)  are one of the sharia financial services products that are growing over time. However, this development still requires attention in order to achieve financial inclusion and increase market share of sharia pawn products. One of the efforts to realize this goal is the socialization strategy. The success of socialization is not only the responsibility of the Islamic financial services institution, but also the role and support of other stakeholders, especially the government. The government through BI and OJK has a strategic role in helping these efforts. Optimizing the role of the government in supporting the dissemination of sharia mortgage products can be done with strategic steps namely targetting, integrating, understanding, and implementing.Key words : Role of government, Socialization, Sharia pawning

Abstract

Fundraising is an important activity in maintaining the sustainability of a waqf institution. Based on field data from observations and interviews, as well as various literatures, this study aims to identify the constraints in the online waqf fundraising strategy at Global Wakaf Surakarta and the efforts that can be made in dealing with these constraints. The analysis was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach. Fundraising constraints faced by the Global Wakaf Surakarta institution are when the fundraising objectives have not been maximally realized, namely the inadequate method of collecting funds, there are still few wakifs who make donations, lack of ability to improve the image of waqf institutions, and lack of ability to maintain continuity of wakifs. Constraints in the fundraising strategy are also seen in the application of fundamental principles, namely the lack of ability to ask the community to act as wakif, lack of capacity to expand relationships and networks, the lack of ability to sell products / programs offered, and the difficulty of increasing public trust to be donated in the Global Wakaf Surakarta institute. Strategies that can be carried out to deal with fundraising constraints in Global Wakaf Surakarta are to pay attention the fundamental elements, namely meeting wakif needs, product development (programs), promotion with a wider reach, and maintaining or increasing the number of regular wakifs so that the program that has not yet been implemented immediately.
