Abstract

Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mendukung edukasi dan penambahan literasi di keilmuan ekonomi syariah adalah pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam An-Nuur, 7 Ulu Darat kecamatan Seberang Ulu 1 Palembang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengarahkan generasi yang memiliki mental yang kuat secara lahir, batin dan berakhlak mulia serta mempersiapkan kader generasi muda yang Islami dan paham mengenai ekonomi syariah. Metode Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah Service learning, yang merupakan metode pembelajaran yang menekankan kepada aspek praktis melalui konsep Experiental Learning, yaitu menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan perkuliahan di tengah komunitas atau masyarakat dan berinteraksi dengan komunitas atau masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian diselenggarakan pada hari Jum’at, 14 Oktober 2025, yang dihadiri kepala sekolah, pembina madrasah, para siswa sebanyak 211 (dua ratus sebelas) orang, para guru sejumlah 9 (sembilan) orang. Materi yang diberikan yaitu mengenai Membangun Generasi Muda yang Cerdas Ekonomi dan Berakhlak Islami. Animo peserta pengabdian sangat antuasias dan pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Berbagai pertanyaan tentang ekonomi syarah dilontarkan oleh para siswa dengan jenis pertanyaan mencakup persoalan hukum menabung dan kredit di bank umum, riba dan cara menyampaikan ilmu ekonomi syariah ke lingkungan terdekat. Sedangkan dalam review materi, para siswa bersemangat dalam menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar, yang menandakan materi tersampaikan dengan baik. Abstract

Abstract: “Anugrah” orphanage is a social welfare institution that still depends on community assistance. Almost all of the operational costs of the orphanage come from individual or group or community assistance. Community empowerment can be mobilized as much as possible with social visit programs, funding and providing facilities to this orphanage. This community service (PkM) uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method which has a place-based framework that combines several principles. The implementation of PkM on Friday, March 21, 2025 was attended by 25 children of Anugrah orphanage, administrators and journalists. The children's enthusiasm in following the PkM implementation process can be seen from several questions asked which are curious about the practice of the world and the hereafter towards success. The continuity of material presentation and question and answer dialog is approximately 1.5 hours. Community empowerment in the form of social assistance is still very much needed by this orphanage. Abstract

Maharah kalam refers to speaking skills in the Arabic language that require clarity, fluency, and accuracy in conveying ideas and feelings orally. This skill is considered one of the primary goals of language learning because through speaking, individuals are able to interact, engage in dialogue, and express themselves communicatively in daily life. The communicative approach is a language teaching method that emphasizes students’ ability to communicate effectively and contextually rather than merely mastering grammatical structures. This training program aimed to strengthen the Arabic maharah kalam (speaking skills) of tenth-grade students at Buranakarn Suksa Witya School, Pattani, Thailand, through a communicative approach. The main problems faced by the students were: a) limited active vocabulary, b) lack of confidence in speaking, and c) learning activities that still focused on memorizing vocabulary without communicative context. The objectives of this community service program were: 1) to implement maharah kalam training through a communicative approach for students at Buranakarn Suksa Witya School, Pattani, Thailand; and 2) to improve the Arabic speaking ability of the students.The implementation method used practice-based training, including contextual vocabulary introduction, pronunciation exercises, thematic dialogues, and real-life situation simulations. The results of the activity showed that: 1) the implementation of maharah kalam training for students at Buranakarn Suksa Witya School, Pattani, Thailand was carried out successfully in accordance with the communicative approach; and 2) the training proved effective in increasing students’ active participation, speaking confidence, and ability to construct simple utterances in Arabic.
