Abstract

Abstrack Purpose of this study is to (1) promote Mts Koto Anau to the people who are in or outside Koto Anau, (2) designing pamphlet that both visually and verbally and (3) create a design that is different from pre-existing design with its own characteristic. data were collected by two methods, namely primary and secondary data collection of interviews and obsevartion, while the secondary data collection can be obtained from internet or other data. In making this final work, metide used SWOT analysis which is contained within Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat that could produce a work that can convey the message in the pamphlet. Keywords: promosi, pamflet, perancangan.

Abstract

Abstract Songket is a kind of weave fabric handicraft. It is made from yarn, cotton, silk and others. The technique to make it is by putting the weft horizontally to the loom, the row of vertical yarns. The quality of songket usually value from material quality, the arranging of color, the theme and pattern of decorated and the variety of tema.The design of this research is qualitative research that using descriptive method. The data that had been collected are include words, picture and not nominal. This research is held by interviews method, observation and documentation through photography.Based on the finding from the research it can be concluded that songket weaving from balapaktanjuangsungayanghave many differences from other weaving fabrics, especially in tema, color, work technic and the material.   Kata Kunci : Songket, Tanjung Sungayang

Abstract

Abstract Apropriation is a practice to create new art work by taking some art icons that already exist before. Phenomenon is the things that can be seeing by sight sense as show in some processes and also facts in human itself. Several phenomenons of creature are begun from they are still as a baby until they are mature enough as an adult, behavioural changes and so on. The description of this human life phenomenon is covered in graphic art work with the tittle: 1). Darwin’s Theory, 2). Butterflies, 3). Koi fish, 4). Reborn, 5). Arwana, 6). Frog, 7). Untitled, 8). Chameleon, 9). Go Green, 10). Kuli angkut. Art work that use Serigrapy technique, is the process  where the printing process using silk, for instance monyl, and for drawing using rubber knive or rakel.
