Abstract

The quality of a nation is largely determined by the quality of education. The process towards quality education requires professional educators in accordance with the code of ethics and the teaching profession. This study aims to analyze efforts to develop the competence of the teaching profession at the SD/MI level. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. Sources of data and materials for analysis of the study use scientific literature relevant to the topic of discussion, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study conclude that teacher competence is related to the authority to carry out their duties, in this case in using the field of study as learning material that acts as an educational tool, and pedagogical competence related to the teacher's function in paying attention to the behavior of students learning. Teacher competence is the result of a combination of abilities of many types, which can be in the form of a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pekerja kantoran sering mengeluhkan kelelahan mata akibat penggunaan komputer dalam waktu lama dan radiasi gelombang elektromagnetik yang ditimbulkan oleh layar monitor. Jika keluhan tidak ditanggulangi maka ketajaman penglihatan akan menurun sehingga mengakibatkan sakit kepala, peningkatan angka kecelakaan, penurunan kualitas kerja karena pekerja kurang fokus, penurunan produktivitas kerja, dan penyakit mata bahkan hingga kebutaan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara faktor karakteristik individu dengan munculnya keluhan CVS Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara faktor karakteristik individu dengan munculnya keluhan CVS. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 orang pekerja perkantoran yang menggunakan komputer ketika bekerja. Hasil: Sebanyak 15 responden (34,2%) mengalami CVS.Variabel usia (0,232), masa kerja (0,507), jarak pandang mata ke monitor (0,583), dan penggunaan alat bantu penglihatan (0,426) tidak terdapat hubungan dengan keluhan CVS sedangkan variabel durasi bekerja dengan komputer per hari (0,011) memiliki hubungan dengan keluhan CVS. Kesimpulan: Sebaiknya pekerja mengaktifkan bluelight filter dan reading mode untuk mengurangi sinar biru pada layar monitor, tidak lupa menyempatkan untuk beristirahat, dan menggunakan kacamata anti UV ketika bekerja di depan komputer.
