Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the quality of population administration issuance services. This research describes the quality of service in issuing population administration documents, and identifies challenges and efforts to overcome these challenges. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation, and testing data validity using triangulation. The research location was at the Beringin Jaya Village Head Office, Mesuji Makmur District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, choosing informants who were deemed to understand population administration issuance services. Based on the research, it can be concluded: (1) the quality of population administration issuance services is optimal, as seen from the physical appearance of officers who are always neat and have a special service area, the reliability of officers in using technological tools well, responsiveness in providing fast, accurate, and precise services, guaranteed free time and cost, and empathy by not being discriminatory. (2) Challenges in population administration services include Human Resources in using the LAKON MANDIRA KABOKI website, unstable internet networks, inadequate support tools, and power outages. (3) Efforts to overcome these obstacles often involve discussions and brainstorming among fellow POSYANDUKDES officers through a Telegram group, using cellular networks, using personal laptop tools, and using temporary power generators.
