Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic hit Indonesia, and one of the impacts on payment system activities. The PayLater application system develops as a method of bailout payment from companies. Two large companies, Traveloka and GoJek, offer a later payment system associated with their application. However, OVO provided the same thing for companies that work with them. When a pandemic occurs, will it change the interest and use of the PayLater application? This study looks for factors that influence the part and use of PayLater for urban workers in DKI Jakarta. Based on the second generation of Unified Theory Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) as a theoretical basis for finding these factors using PLS-SEM. The multi-group analysis shows any differences in terms of transactions, gender, type of generation during the pandemic. There were 1201 urban workers surveyed in DKI Province. The research contribution is in multi-group analysis and has practical implications for Traveloka, GoJek, and OVO companies. Another study should consider cost switching for urban workers when new fintech emerges in terms of costs, benefits, and tenor times. We can use panel data, where the same respondents are observed in the period before, during, and after the period.

Abstract

Increasingly competitive competition arises because of digital technology in business. One of Michael Porter's famous competitive theories is regarding the competitive force. There are five components in it: bargaining power of customers, bargaining power of suppliers, the threat of new entrants, threat of substituted products and services, and rivalry among existing competitors. Using quantitative methods, this study will discuss Michael Porter’s theory components that affect business competition in the digital era. The sample selection for this research is spread over all people of DKI Jakarta who have at least one marketplace. According to the seller/store owner's perspective, the five components that affect Marketplace business competition in the digital marketing era are rivalry of competitors, bargaining power of customers, the threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers, the threat of substitute product, and service. Meanwhile, according to buyers of goods in the marketplace, the five components that affect Marketplace business competition in the digital marketing era are rivalry of competitors, the threat of substituted products and services, bargaining power of customers, and bargaining power of suppliers a threat of new entrants. From the results of this study, it is suspected that Michael Porter's theory can be applied in business competition in the digital era. For further research, the author will discuss whether it is true that Michael Porter's approach is still relevant to be applied according to practitioners and marketing strategists.

Abstract

"> Modes of transport workers in the city even become part of the traffic’s problems that have persisted.This is related to the conditions of workers in the city and availability of public transportation relatedto the place where they are live. Many studies in Indonesia about factors of the mode of transportworkers has been done by Lestari (2009), Ludfi Djakfar et all (2010), Widiarta (2010), Sijabar &Ratnasari (2013), Rahmawati (2014), Oktavia and Pandia (2013). Their studies conducting usingbinary logistic regression, but in this study, we try to use multinomial logistic regression. The motivesare expanding the scope of research, and also to capture the actual condition for labor in the city.This study conducted in West Jakarta district, as a growing city and become a second CBD in DKI.The aim of this study to show the factors which affect the urban worker who lives in West Jakartachooses their mode of transportation. This research found several factors like gender, married status,age, car ownership and motorcycle ownership affect labor to choose their mode of transportation.The policy implication regarding the result is how to improve the quality and quantity of publictransportations.Keywords: urban worker, mode of transportation, multinomial logistic regression

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between wages and house rents in the cities level. Merely, the existence of the housing market in the suburb is an critical component to explain relations between two market in two spaces. By applying practical and theoretical considerations, the house rents in suburb are included in this general equilibrium model. We utilize mathematical modeling to find some optimal equations in two markets to know the new relationship between wages and rents in the city level.  An estimation using Non-Linear Seemingly Unrelated Regression to proof the relationship between wages and rents empirically.  The work found that house rents in urban and suburban affecting wages in an urban area, it brings important policy implications in two markets. There are two considerations for the policy maker. They should consider others markets and spatial aspect when formulating their policies, especially in labor and housing markets Keywords: wages, house rents, urban labor economics.  ABSTRAK Studi ini menguji hubungan antara upah dan sewa rumah di tingkat kota. Hanya saja, keberadaan pasar perumahan di pinggiran kota merupakan komponen penting untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara dua pasar dalam dua ruang. Dengan menerapkan pertimbangan praktis dan teoretis, sewa rumah di  pinggiran kota dimasukkan dalam model keseimbangan umum ini. Kami menggunakan pemodelan matematika untuk menemukan beberapa persamaan optimal di  dua pasar untuk mengetahui hubungan baru antara upah dan sewa di tingkat kota. Taksiran menggunakan Non-Linear Seemingly Unrelated Regression untuk membuktikan hubungan antara upah dan sewa secara empiris. Pekerjaan menemukan bahwa sewa rumah di perkotaan dan pinggiran kota mempengaruhi upah di daerah perkotaan, itu membawa implikasi kebijakan penting di dua pasar. Ada dua pertimbangan bagi pembuat kebijakan. Mereka harus mempertimbangkan pasar lain dan aspek spasial ketika merumuskan kebijakan mereka, terutama di pasar tenaga kerja dan perumahan. Kata kunci: upah, sewarumah, ekonomi tenaga kerja perkotaan JEL: C15, C33, C61, D50, J10, J20, R10

Abstract

Many survei and research found that Micro, small and medium entreprizes, have some difficulties to access banking sector for a credit. Many constraints to the banking sector can be devided into two categories, first is financial factors and the other is non financial factors.Using logistic regression with 200 respondents, this paper want to identify key factors to access the bank. It found that financial factors did not cause their probability to acces the bank increasingly. But, non financial factor, that is their experiences to have relation withtheir supplier, was caused their probability to access bank sector significantly. From this result, the policy and framework to support Micro, small and medium entreprizes accessingthe banking sectors should consider their relationships with their supplier, or more wider their communication and skill to make sustainable network.Keywords: Access to Banking, SMEs, Credit

Abstract

This research tries to analyze the fficts of cognitive aspect,affictive aspect and subjective norm on consumer purchasing behavior in the services of Air Transportation Industries in Yog'takarta. Reason Action Theory that is suggested by Ajzen and Fishbein (1980) is used to develop research model. The model is composed of attitudinal, social influence and intention variables to predict iehavior. The theory assertsthat the intention to perform behavior is determined by the individual attitude towards performing the behavior and subjective norm that are held by an individual.To solve the problem, this research uses Structural EquationModel (SEITI) technique to test research hypothesis with 186 samples that have been gathered with purposive random sampling method. In this research, attitude has been measured by cognitive aspect (reliability, empathy, ossurance and responsiveness) and affective aspect (facility, equipment and ambience), and subjective norrn by group of references (family andfriends).The result shows that cognitive and affective aspect has positiveand significant ffict to consumer behavior. The attitude also haspositive and significant ffict to consumer behavior. This result supports Kirk L. Wakefield and J"ffrey G. Blodgett research in Customer Response to Intangible and Tangible Service Factors, 1999. On the contrary, subjective norms aspects have positive fficts on behavior, but it's not significant. Service industries like air transportation in Yogtakarta have to pay more attention to the voriable of responsivenessempathy, reliability and assurance as a one of strategt to draw more consumers.Keywords: Reasoned Action Theory, Structural Equation Motdel.

Abstract

Coral reefs have an important role in the economic aspects of coastal communities in the Ujung Genteng, Sukabumi which depends on shallow waters. Increased human activity around the coast has an impact on coral reef ecosystems which are easily fragile by natural and non-natural factors. To prevent damage of coral reefs that have an impact on people's livelihoods, the community has carried out conservation efforts by involving various parties in Ujung Genteng. This study examines the role of the community in the maintenance and preservation of coral reefs. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach. Based on the research results, it is found that the community has a role in the preservation and maintenance of the marine environment, especially the coral reef ecosystem, in collaboration with related agencies and CSR and involving the local community directly as well. Community involvement in the process of maintaining and preserving coral reefs is also intended to increase the welfare of local communities that work as fishermen

Abstract

Restoran dengan konsep all you can eat  merupakan restoran yang diminati oleh kaum muda saat ini. Kemunculan restoran tersebut tidak lepas dari kebutuhan manusia akan makanan dan minuman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan keputusan pembelian sebagai variabel mediasi pada restoran Shaburi di Kelapa Gading Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang melibatkan 165 orang responden sebagai bagian dari data yang akan diambil dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan Teknik PLS-SEM di dalam penelitian ini untuk menjawab masalah penelitian dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS3.  Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen dan keputusan pembelian secara langsung, kualitas produk berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen dan keputusan pembelian secara langsung, keputusan pembelian tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen, dan keputusan pembelian tidak mampu memediasi penuh kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen.Kata kunci: kualitas pelayanan, kualitas produk, keputusan, kepuasan konsumen, shaburi
