Abstract

The sacrament of baptism makes a person united with Christ and made a member of God’s People. God’s People in the Codex Pius Benedict (Codex 1917) are understood based on ordained and unbaptized. This concept gave rise to a pyramid image of the God’s People. On the contrary, the Codex 1983, which was influenced by the views of the Second Vatican Council, see the People of God in common baptism. Based on the baptism, they assumed the general priesthood duties of Jesus Christ according to their individual. The special conditions were bornf for those who received ordination and thus became sacred ministers who exercised the priesthood of office. Both of the general priesthood and the office of priesthood, are carried out in the communion of the Church. In the community spirit, each member of God’s People participates in the mission of Church received from Christ.

Abstract

Mixed marriage on the canon 1124, the 1983 Code refers to the marriage between Catholic and non-Catholic persons, which means that both of the persons are baptized. So, it must be the Sacrament (see can. 1055 §2). The Second Vatican Council picked the view of the people of God up based on the dignity of baptism. Then the Council expressed the idea of (full) communion in which the Catholic Church and the other Churches and communities have a relationship. To it Thus, The Council fosters the ecumenical movement that develops the union between the Christians, more especially concerning mixed marriage.

Abstract

Encounter, listen and discern! These three messages from Jesus are for spreading the gospel. He leads the Twelve and his followers in contact with the Holy Trinity and with humanity. The Church continued the Kingdom of God's mission to rule the globe. The synod is called upon by the authority of the Church to uphold and carry out the faith, moral doctrine, and disciplines of the Church. Additionally, the church moves forward in a synodal spirit. With churches and ecclesial communities, the Church fosters ecumenism. She also fosters interfaith dialogue with other religions. And the Basic Ecclesial Communities, which are preval_ent among the population, are the most significant element in this style of life.

Abstract

Leadership is one of the important topic when people discuss on the organization. A good development is determined by a good and a strong leadership. The same thing when we talk about the (Catholic) Church. That is the reason of this thesis in which the writer wants to describe that the Church as a spiritual institution and social structure needs a strong leadership. Departing from can. 255, the researcher will explain the threefold munus and the pastoral functions in which the priests fulfill their tasks. This research is different with others because on can. 255 any others thesis has focus on the pastoral aspect of priesthood. On the other hand, this thesis focus on the leadership of priests.

Abstract

Kitab Hukum Kanonik merupakan perangkat normatif sekaligus sarana pastoral yang menjaga persekutuan, keadilan, keteraturan, dan tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan Gereja. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman para biarawati-religius di Novisiat KYM mengenai fungsi pastoral Kitab Hukum Kanonik, hak dan kewajiban umat beriman, tata hidup bakti, serta penerapannya dalam kehidupan komunitas. Kursus dilaksanakan setiap Jumat pertama dan kedua selama September-Desember 2024 di Aula Susteran KYM, Jalan Sibolga-Pematangsiantar, dengan Higianes Indro Pandego, Lic.IC sebagai narasumber. Metode kegiatan meliputi seminar interaktif, pembahasan kanon, diskusi, studi kasus, refleksi pastoral, dan latihan penerapan hukum Gereja. Keabsahan pelaksanaan diverifikasi melalui Surat Tugas Nomor 025/FF/C.03/2024, delapan lembar daftar hadir berkala, dokumentasi foto, dan berita acara tertanggal 14 Desember 2024. Daftar hadir menunjukkan tujuh peserta mengikuti rangkaian kursus secara berulang. Hasil pada tingkat proses memperlihatkan tersedianya ruang pembinaan yang terstruktur, penguatan pemahaman hukum sebagai sarana pastoral, serta kemampuan peserta menghubungkan norma Gereja dengan spiritualitas hidup bakti. Program menghasilkan materi kursus, perangkat studi kasus, dan rekomendasi pembinaan hukum Gereja secara berkelanjutan.
