Abstract

Good economic development is not only measured by the growth rate but also considers various factors related to community welfare. In Indonesia, the current economic growth is insufficient to address social issues such as inequality, poverty, and limited access to employment opportunities for the population. This study aims to examine the impact of the Open Unemployment Rate, Poverty, Average Years of Schooling, and GRDP Per Capita on Indonesia's inclusive economic development between 2016 and 2021. The study utilizes secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas). Panel data regression analysis techniques, employing the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) approach through the E-views 10 program, are applied to analyze the data. The findings reveal that the Open Unemployment Rate and poverty variables have a significant negative impact on Indonesia's inclusive economic development. Conversely, Average Years of Schooling and GRDP Per Capita have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's inclusive economic development from 2016 to 2021.

Abstract

MSMEs in Magelang City play a vital role in driving local economic growth and creating jobs for the community. However, one of the main challenges faced by business owners in this area is the low level of understanding and implementation of proper bookkeeping systems. Many MSMEs in Magelang City still maintain unstructured manual records, and most of them lack any financial records at all. Therefore, activities to be carried out include financial literacy education and training, as MSMEs in Magelang City require a better understanding of the importance of proper bookkeeping, from preparing simple financial reports to accurately recording cash flow. This training will help them manage their business finances more efficiently and in a structured manner. The purpose of this community service program is to improve MSME owners' understanding of the basic concepts of financial literacy, such as financial record keeping, cash flow management, and financial planning. Furthermore, this community service program is expected to provide training on access to formal financing, including banking through People's Business Credit (KUR).

Abstract

In 2015 is the year of the acceleration of the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), therefore it is necessary to analyze the economy of each member country based on factors that affect the convergence process. This study aims to analyze the level of convergence of economic growth among ASEAN-10 member countries in 2015-2021. The data used is secondary data obtained from the world bank website. The analytical methods used in this study are sigma convergence and beta convergence. The calculation of sigma convergence uses mathematical analysis of the coefficient of variation of GDP per capita of ASEAN-10 member countries. While the calculation of beta convergence uses panel data regression analysis with a fixed effect model approach. The results showed that there was no sigma convergence among ASEAN-10 member countries, indicating that there was no decrease in inequality among member countries. The results of the analysis on beta convergence show that there is absolute and conditional beta convergence at a rate of 7,5% and 3,1%. It was found that the Foreign Direct Investment and Total Labor Force variables did not have a significant effect, while the Trade Openness variable had a significant effect.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the sectors that contributes the most to national foreign exchange earnings. However, trade in tourism services is still faced with a number of problems and challenges going forward. This can be seen from the comparison of the number of foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia which shows that Indonesia's tourism market share is still limited and has not been able to compete in the international market. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of the Tourism Consumer Price Index (TCPI), GDP per capita of the country of origin of foreign tourists, the Rupiah Exchange Rate against the currency of the country of origin of foreign tourists, and the Visit Visa Free Policy in Indonesia on international tourism demand in Indonesia in the 2013-2013 period. 2020. The variables used are variables that can influence international tourism demand according to previous researchers. The data used in this study is secondary data combining cross sections from 28 countries of tourist visitors and time series from 2013 to 2020. The data collection method was carried out through documentation sourced from the World Development Indicators, Bank Indonesia, and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is panel data with the help of Stata 17. The results of this study show that the GDP per capita of the country of origin of foreign tourists has a positive and significant effect on the demand for international tourism in Indonesia in 2013-2020. The rupiah exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the demand for international tourism in Indonesia in 2013-2020, while the TCPI and Visit Visa Free Policy in Indonesia have no significant effect on demand for international tourism in Indonesia in 2013-2020.

Abstract

Qualification mismatch is a significant issue in DKI Jakarta’s labor market, affecting how wages are distributed among workers. Although DKI Jakarta has the highest Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) in Indonesia, many employees still receive wages inconsistent with their educational qualifications in terms of level and field of study. This study employs a quantitative regression approach using data from SAKERNAS August 2023 DKI Jakarta to analyze the impact of educational mismatch on labor wages. The results highlight a widespread issue of undereducation, where workers earn less than expected based on their qualifications. On the other hand, overeducation and mismatches in education do not significantly influence wage levels. Key factors such as education level, squared experience, undereducation, and gender have a significant positive effect on wages while working hours exert a significant negative impact. Interestingly, variables like technology use, internet access, and training opportunities show no substantial effect on wage determination. The study suggests that policymakers must address these mismatches by promoting gender equality and enhancing information and communication technology to improve productivity and wage outcomes across the labor force in DKI Jakarta
