Abstract

Information systems are here to provide various supports and conveniences in various aspects of life, including in the economic sector. One example is a photo studio, which is a business in the economic sector that utilizes information systems. This business offers photography services with a wide target market. However, the process of promoting and managing photo studios is still mostly done manually and has not utilized the information system optimally, so it is prone to errors, such as in delivering service package information, ordering, and making reports. The use of information systems aims to minimize these errors while optimizing the promotion of services offered by service providers such as photo studios, photographers, and freelance videographers. This system is designed to display detailed information, including portfolios and galleries of work, making it easier for consumers to place orders. In addition, this information system can also generate periodic order reports for service providers. System development is carried out using the Waterfall method, PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL database.

Abstract

Technological advancements have brought fundamental changes in the way we interact with digital images and photography. One significant milestone in this development is the Photoshop Express Photo Editor, which has become a primary platform for image processing and editing. Datasets are used to analyze sentiment and are utilized during the accuracy testing phase. Based on the testing results, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm achieved an average accuracy value of 86.50%, compared to the Naïve Bayes (NB) algorithm, which achieved an average accuracy value of 75%. The results of the research conclude that the choice of sentiment analysis method should be tailored to the needs and limitations of the system. If a fast, light, and easy-to-understand process is required, the Naive Bayes method is the right choice. However, if accuracy and context understanding are the top priorities, then CNN is a superior approach, although it requires more resources. Additionally, based on the Wordcloud data, it is known that the majority of comments are positive, indicating that the reviews or texts analyzed contain many positive expressions related to quality, usability, and ease of use.

Abstract

Selecting appropriate accounting software is a significant challenge for organizations due to diverse functional attributes. Suboptimal choices can adversely affect operational efficiency and financial management quality. This study develops a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) method to determine the optimal software choice among five alternatives: Zahir, Accurate, Mekari Jurnal, SAP Business One, and Kledo. Data were collected via questionnaires from 30 respondents, including accounting practitioners and active users. The evaluation focused on five key criteria: software pricing, ease of use, feature completeness, system integration, and technical support. The EDAS method evaluated these alternatives by calculating their deviation from the average solution through Positive Distance from Average (PDA) and Negative Distance from Average (NDA), resulting in a final Appraisal Score for ranking. The results show that EDAS produces a clear, discriminative ranking. Zahir achieved the highest score (0.798), followed by Mekari Jurnal (0.779), SAP Business One (0.553), Kledo (0.500), and Accurate (0.444). These findings demonstrate that the EDAS approach effectively supports objective multi-criteria decision-making and possesses strong potential for implementation in digital-based recommendation systems for accounting software selection, ensuring businesses make data-driven, efficient choices.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced technology makes it easier for anyone to use it for various activities, such as lecture activities. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since 2019 until this research was conducted. Covid-19, formerly known as SARS-CoV2, is an outbreak of pneumonia that originates from a virus. This virus was first heard in Wuhan, China in December 2019 (Ciotti et al., 2020). Lectures are conducted online to prevent the spread of this virus. One of the technologies widely used during the Covid-19 pandemic is video conferencing. With video conference meetings can be held even if the people present are far from each other. Zoom is a cloud-based application that is currently often used as a video communication (Azkiya, 2021). Zoom is a video conferencing application that is currently being used in various activities, including lectures. Because it is important to know how much student acceptance of the Zoom application they use for lectures is. The research was conducted using the Technology Acceptance Model or TAM method which consists of three constructs, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Acceptance of Technology. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The data obtained were then calculated using the Structural Equation Model or SEM method consisting of the Outer Model and Inner Model calculations. SEM is an analytical technique that allows testing of a series of simultaneous relationships (Gardenia, 2018). The conclusion is that by taking the R-Square value, the construct in the TAM method is able to measure as much as 63% of student admission case studies on Zoom as a lecture medium.
