Abstract

Indonesia is still the most generous country in the world supported by Muslim behaviour and philanthropic institutions. The presence of philanthropic institutions on the one hand helps the welfare of society, but on the other hand, it leaves various problems. This dedication aims to explain and describe fundraising strategies through coin cans. Two philanthropic institutions that have become partners in the Da'wah Management Study Program at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu were involved: Yayasan Darul Armina and Bait Zakat. The method used is dissemination where lectures and interaction in the form of questions and answers are the mainstay. Implementation of service is carried out in three stages: determination, implementation and evaluation. The determination stage starts with determining the core of the service, mapping problems, determining service topics, and coordinating institutions. The implementation phase begins with a presentation of the material and continues with questions and answers and discussion. The evaluation stage looks at the success of service activities. Finnaly, this activity provides recommendations for future service that it is important to continue the practice and mentoring of Islamic philanthropic institutions

Abstract

One of the efforts to be able to survive and exist by the times, the pesantren comes with various typologies. There are at least three typologies of pesantren that are currently developing, namely salaf, khalaf, and semi-khalaf (combination) pesantren. The urgency of understanding pesantren typology becomes increasingly critical in facing modern challenges and efforts to optimize the existence of pesantren in the contemporary era. Challenges such as technological advances, globalization, and changes in community demands require pesantren to deeply understand their internal diversity and variation. This study aims to see the extent of the influence of typology on the existence of Islamic boarding schools. With descriptive qualitative research methods, the results show that the existence of boarding schools is influenced by several main factors, namely the role and function of boarding schools in the fields of education, and social, economic, and religious functions. The relevance of boarding school typology to the existence of boarding schools shows that each type has its advantages and challenges that affect its sustainability. Traditional boarding schools that focus on in-depth religious education continue to exist, due to strong support from the community that values the preservation of religious traditions. Modern boarding schools are easier to attract students who want religious education as well as preparation to face the challenges of the modern world. Meanwhile, combination boarding schools can survive by combining the two approaches, providing a holistic education that is relevant to the needs of the times.

Abstract

This research conducts an in-depth exploration of Rene Descartes famous statement "Cogito ergo sum", with a focus on aspects of rationalism and certainty in the construction of knowledge. The research question underlying this study is to what extent cogito ergo sum is the basis for understanding the relationship between rationalism and certainty, and how this concept shapes the paradigm of human knowledge this research to uncover the hidden philosophical meaning in the statement cogito ergo sum, identify its conceptual implications, and explore its impact on human understanding of knowledge. The research method used is a literature review with philosophical analysis, and text analysis to explore the philosophical meaning of Cogito ergo sum as well as related studies in philosophy and knowledge as well as presenting new insights into the relationship between rationalism and certainty in the view of Rene Descartes. The results of this research reveal the complexity of Rene Descartes' thinking regarding rationalism and certainty, highlighting that cogito ergo sum is an important foundation in our understanding of knowledge. and has a significant impact on shaping the paradigm of human knowledge, placing reason as the main instrument in achieving absolute truth.

Abstract

This article examines the concepts of love and freedom in the thought of Jalaluddin Rumi and analyzes their relevance to contemporary philosophical and humanitarian issues. The study employs qualitative library research by analyzing Rumi’s primary works, including Mathnawi, Fihi Ma Fihi, and Diwan-e Shams, supported by relevant secondary literature. A philosophical hermeneutic approach is used to interpret Rumi’s symbolic language and metaphors in order to uncover their underlying philosophical and spiritual meanings. The findings show that Rumi understands love (mahabbah) as an ontological principle that connects human beings with God, others, and the universe, and functions as the foundation of ethical life. Freedom (hurriyyah), in Rumi’s perspective, is not external or absolute autonomy, but inner freedom achieved through liberation from ego, desires, and worldly attachments. The integration of love and inner freedom forms a coherent spiritual framework that offers a critical perspective on modern understandings of freedom that tend to be individualistic and value-neutral. This study concludes that Rumi’s thought provides a relevant philosophical contribution to contemporary discussions on ethics, spirituality, and the search for meaning, while remaining grounded in the Islamic intellectual tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of prophetic leadership by KH. M. Wazir Dahlan at Darul Amal Bengkulu Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research results show that KH. M. Wazir Dahlan in his prophetic leadership at the Darul Amal Bengkulu Islamic Boarding School centered on five things, namely uswah hasanah and religious provision, shiddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathonah. Uswah hasanah and religious provision by setting an example like the Prophet to follow as well as spiritual and scientific provision as a strengthening of faith. The next prophetic implementation is shiddiq by always being honest in actions that will foster strong character by being honest divided into three by being honest with God, to yourself and to others. Trustworthiness is divided into two, namely Fulfilling Commitment and reliability. Next is tabligh (delivering) which includes being able to communicate da'wah effectively, having a clear vision, having noble visions and ideals that are shared, being an example and role model for everyone, being able to motivate and inspire, having genuine concern and touch, and The last is being able to work together. The last implementation is fathonah in leadership by having to become a learner as well as a teacher, having a strategy in achieving its goals, then deliberation and finally managing time by always being istiqamah in getting closer to Allah and improving one's performance as a leader.
