Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami praktik diplomasi budaya Indonesia melalui program Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) di Australia. Saat ini Indonesia menghadapi tantangan terkait penurunan minat warga Australia untuk belajar bahasa Indonesia. Terlebih, selama kurun 2018-2022, semua negara mengalami perubahan tatanan dunia baru akibat pandemi COVID-19. Untuk tujuan itu digunakan konsep strategi diplomasi budaya oleh Patricia Goff, yaitu koneksi, konsistensi, dan inovasi. Penelitian ini juga menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diplomasi budaya Indonesia melalui program BIPA di Australia telah menerapkan tiga strategi diplomasi budaya menurut Patricia Goff. This research aims to identify and understand the practice of Indonesian cultural diplomacy through the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program in Australia. Currently, Indonesia is facing challenges related to the declining interest of the Australian. Moreover, during the 2018-2022 period, all countries have experienced changes to the new world order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses the cultural diplomacy concept by Patricia Goff, namely connection, consistency, and innovation. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques of interviews, documentations, and literature studies. The results of this research indicate that Indonesian cultural diplomacy through the BIPA program in Australia has implemented the three cultural diplomacy strategies according to Patricia Goff.
