Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made children even more interested in playing gadgets. The purpose of this community service activity is to reduce and change the dependence of early childhood on modern games, especially games on gadgets or smartphones. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) by involving the Bait Kata community to design the concept of a literacy village, Karang Taruna to help socialize activities, and Dasa Wisma group to design UMKM and tourism awareness groups in Tebel Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. This community service activity develops the concept of learning and playing traditional games in one place that is integrated between playing, learning and becoming a center for educational tourism for children. The expected output targets include making the literacy village a center for children's educational tourism in Sidoarjo and improving the welfare of the surrounding community through educational tours. The result achieved in this program is the establishment of a reading terrace where children learn various knowledge from textbook and novel sources to foster children's interest in reading and writing, as well as traditional games such as stilts, clogs, and congklak (a playing board with two parallel rows of circular depression) that train interaction, cooperation, empathy, and children’abilities at mathematics. For the surrounding community, this service has helped empower the community's economy through UMKM in the field of traditional games and food called Kampung Literasi culinary corner. Teras Baca and UMKM center have been integrated and are ready to become an educational tourism destination of Kampung Literasi Tebel Barat.

Abstract

The service queue system at motor vehicle repair shops in Malang city is still manual, customers must find the nearest repair shop and visit the repair shop then queue for service without knowing the queue information. With a system like that, it will be difficult and take a long time for customers who want to do service. For this reason, we need an application to search for the nearest motor vehicle repair shop based on maps based on LBS (Location Based Service) and a motor vehicle service queue information system using a web server and applications with the Android operating system. The application of the location-based service concept to the workshop queuing information system application can be used to provide location-based information services. Customers will use an application that displays workshop information and the number of service queues according to what is input by the workshop admin. The result of this research is workshop queue information system application can be used to find out the user's location and the location of the nearest special vehicle repair shop around the user. From the experimental results, it is found that the web and application can work well.

Abstract

Abror M, Tiawati E, Manurung CN, Khairunnisa M, Susilo TS, Vivin V. 2022. Biofloc technology for swamp fish. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang 27 Oktober 2022. pp. 621-627. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Swamp fish cultivation is currently a special attraction for fish farmers, but its production is still not optimally utilized, it can be increased by using a biofloc system. The biofloc system is a technology that utilizes bacteria that are able to destroy waste and maintain water quality with the advantage of being able to maximize narrow land, environmentally friendly, feed efficiency and high productivity. Therefore, the use of a biofloc system for swamp fish farming is very helpful for farmers because they can get increased yields from a limited pond area and save on feed costs. So the cultivation technology using a biofloc system is highly recommended to be developed in swamp fish farming. This study aimed to study the effect of the biofloc system on the productivity of swamp fish farming production. This activity is carried out by looking at and comparing several related scientific journals and then getting the best knowledge for the biofloc system in swamp fish.

Abstract

The early stage of mineral processing usually focuses mainly on recovery, not the grade of the concentrate. Tin dressing in Production Section Vessel on January 2023 did not meet target recovery of 96%. This study aimed to evaluate and optimize jig performance to achieve the desired target. The study focused on evaluating the configuration of variables such as feed velocity, bed thickness, as well as number and length of strokes. Measurement data of jig performance variables and tailings and concentrate samples were used as comparative data to the SOP. The calculation of the sample content was carried out through the grain counting analysis (GCA) method, which calculated the amount of concentrate and losses in each jig. The final results of washing recovery prior to washing evaluation were 92.70% Sn in observation I and 88.68% Sn in observation II, respectively. The washing process in observation I and II conditions were not considered optimal because the recovery had not reached the target. This is caused by variables that are not under the provisions To optimize the performance of the jig was the installation a comb in the flow section of the jig to standardize the flow that was too fast, remeasurement after the addition of the hematite stone, repairing pillow blocks and eccentric coupling bolts on the stroke length setting and resetting the variables in the jig performance following existing SOPs. After the evaluation and readjustment of the jig variables, the recovery was increased to 97.53% Sn. From this study it can be concluded that the failure to achieve the targeted recovery was caused by operational variables that did not meet the SOP including the length and number of strokes, bed thickness, and water flow rate due to technical constraints. After being repaired, the dressing recovery could meet or even exceed the recovery target.
