Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety with learning motivation and the hypothesis of this study stated that there is a negative correlation between anxiety with learning motivation, assuming the higher anxiety, the lower the learning motivation will be and conversely the lower anxiety, the higher learning motivation will be. The subject population of this study was 1.241 students, and the number of samples used was 275 students of 13th State Senior High School Medan selected by disproportionate stratified random sampling. Data were obtained from the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) to measure anxiety and learning motivation scale. The analysis of the data was performed by Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of this research showed that there is a negative relationship between anxiety with learning motivation. Students who have no acute anxiety feelings would be able to cope with difficult learning situations with prepare through learning activities. Conversely, the students who have excessive anxiety would tend to have a negative perception that there is no motivation and passion for learning. Keywords: Anxiety; Learning motivation AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan dengan motivasi belajar dan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara kecemasan dengan motivasi belajar, asumsinya bahwa semakin tinggi kecemasan, maka semakin rendah motivasi belajar dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kecemasan maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar. Populasi subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 1.241 orang, dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 275 orang siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 13 Medan yang dipilih dengan metode disproportionate stratified random sampling. Data diperoleh dari Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) untuk mengukur kecemasan dan skala motivasi belajar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment melalui bantuan SPSS 17 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kecemasan dengan motivasi belajar. Siswa-siswi yang tidak memiliki perasaan cemas berlebihan, akan mampu mengatasi situasi pembelajaran yang sulit dengan mempersiapkan diri melalui kegiatan belajar. Sebaliknya siswa-siswi yang mengalami perasaan cemas berlebihan akan cenderung memiliki persepsi negatif sehingga tidak memiliki motivasi dan gairah untuk belajar. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Swamp fish cultivation is currently a special attraction for fish farmers, but its production is still not optimally utilized, it can be increased by using a biofloc system. The biofloc system is a technology that utilizes bacteria that are able to destroy waste and maintain water quality with the advantage of being able to maximize narrow land, environmentally friendly, feed efficiency and high productivity. Therefore, the use of a biofloc system for swamp fish farming is very helpful for farmers because they can get increased yields from a limited pond area and save on feed costs. So the cultivation technology using a biofloc system is highly recommended to be developed in swamp fish farming. This study aimed to study the effect of the biofloc system on the productivity of swamp fish farming production. This activity is carried out by looking at and comparing several related scientific journals and then getting the best knowledge for the biofloc system in swamp fish.

Abstract

This community service activity in orphanages aims to increase the understanding of the basic concepts of entrepreneurship among orphanage children, increase innovation and creativity in entrepreneurship as well as provide motivation and support for the development of a professional and productive entrepreneurial spirit as an effort to equip then with knowledge and training. In this case, sharia entrepreneurship includes an understanding of the basic of entrepreneurship in accordance with Islamic sharia, including starting an honest, proactive, productive, empowering, giving, humble, creative and innovative business. The development of this activity is carried out through a series of socialization of material delivery and craft making training to start a business. The evaluation showed an increase in the insight and knowledge of orphanage children with most of them expressing interest in becoming an entrepreneur. Through this effort, it is hoped that the children of the orphanage will participate in creating local economic growth and the economic independence of the young generation in creating new opportunities.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between CEO characteristics and real earnings management as a dependent variable and included political connections as a moderating variable for non-financial companies listed on the BEI (Indonesian Stock Exchange). The number of observation data sampled in this research was 1,546 data through a purposive sampling. The method applied in analyzing research data is using panel regression analysis and tested using Eviews10. Based on the results of this research, political connections have a significant positive effect on CEO tenure and real earnings management, however political connections cannot be proved to influence other variables in this study, including CEO ownership, CEO expertise, and CEO narcissism.
