Abstract

Cianjur Regency is an area that is in the crust of the Sunda plate, and is right above the very active Cimandiri fault and stretches from Palabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi, Cianjur, Bandung to Cirebon Regency. At any time a shift (earthquake) and other natural disasters can strike, this is very important because the vast area of Cianjur stretches from south to north bordering Bogor, Bandung, and Sukabumi so applications such as preparedness efforts need to be made so that evacuation and coordination run smoothly if the facilities are not supported, the application for natural disaster evacuation uses an application platform that is widely used. Research using the Scrum Process application development method which is part of the agile development method, based on Scrum this process has produced research products in the form of applications that can be used by the BPBD in coordinating and evacuating refugees caused by disasters. so that all possibilities such as assisting can be carried out on target, providing information on the loss of refugee family members can be minimized, and so on being able to help BPBD coordinate everything.

Abstract

A system to recognize the faces of family members is the next generation of the system based on biometrics that we commonly encounter using facial patterns and characteristics as identification objects. This family member recognition system uses existing facial patterns in the database system as storage, then does a comparison with the tested image. The facial pattern recognition system has some problems, for example, difficulty in recognizing objects with different lighting levels in the process of taking the picture. To overcome the obstacles that occur due to variations in light levels was developed software by applying the singular value decomposition (SDV) method. The result of In this study, the application of facial pattern recognition is thought to have a relationshipkinship that is useful for identifying someone who is in the test image as well as displays a person's identity if a match is found with the sample on the application. In this study, the samples used were 100 facial images and 50 facial images of random humans, the resulting level of accuracy of this software is 92.8769% in recognizing patterns of kinship face, 60.1775% in matching the test image with the existing sample on the basis application data and 90.9567% when determining the identity of someone who is the same as databases.

Abstract

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) data collection is an essential process for measuring and monitoring the progress of human development in a country or region. With the shift towards increasingly integrated digital technology, the use of Android-based applications offers the potential to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the collection, analysis, and reporting of HDI data. This technology integration enables real-time and accurate data collection utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) device sensors, thereby expanding accessibility for communities and stakeholders. The aim of this research is to improve operational effectiveness while positively impacting environmental and socio-economic sustainability. Integrating HDI data collection with a circular economy paradigm can also aid in identifying priority areas for sustainable development interventions. Based on the implementation results, practicality in the efficiency and accuracy aspects of application usage achieved 86%, categorized as "Very Practical". Therefore, these findings indicate that the developed application can enhance the optimization of HDI data collection in Cianjur Regency

Abstract

Banana peel is a waste that has the potential as an anti-obesity agent due to its nutritional and phytochemical content. This study aims to analyze and compare the content of macronutrients, micronutrients, and phytochemical compounds in raja banana peel extracts. The maceration method was performed during the preparation of extracts by using ethanol and acetone solvents. The nutritional and phytochemical contents of the extracts were compared to determine which solvent produced the optimum anti-obesity properties. The ethanol extract consists of water (17,68%), minerals (22,76%), protein (3,50%), carbohydrates (47,98%), and vitamin C (0,82%). The phytochemical content includes flavonoids (73,38 mgQE/g), tannins (0,32%), and chrysin (1,16 mg/L). In conclusion, the ethanol extract of Raja banana peel contains higher nutrients and phytochemicals than the acetone extract, showing greater potential as an anti-obesity agent. Further research is needed to test its bioactivity in vivo or in vitro.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of ecotourism management in West Java, which despite its great potential, still faces problems of ecosystem degradation and suboptimal destination management. This study aims to develop a technology-based smart ecotourism model by integrating environmental, social, and economic aspects simultaneously, as a novelty from previous studies that generally only emphasize one aspect of management. The method used is a quantitative approach through a survey of 150 respondents consisting of ecotourism managers, tourists, and local communities in several leading destinations in West Java. Data were collected using a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, and path analysis with the help of SPSS 22. The results showed that the use of technology has a positive and significant effect on ecotourism sustainability (R² = 0.801, p < 0.05), but does not have a significant effect on the socio-economic impacts of the community, and ecotourism sustainability was not proven to mediate the relationship. The research conclusion emphasizes that technology integration needs to be accompanied by community empowerment programs to make socio-economic benefits more tangible, with recommendations in the form of increasing digital literacy, developing community-based platforms, and regional policies that support technology synergy and local welfare.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the post-disaster challenges faced by the people of Sarampad Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, after the 2022 earthquake, which severely damaged vital infrastructure and disrupted access to clean water. The lack of a systematic mapping system for clean water sources highlights the urgent need for technology-based solutions to support effective and sustainable water resource management. The study employed a software development method using an Agile Programming approach, allowing iterative development and adaptation based on user feedback. Data were collected through field surveys, interviews with local communities and village officials, and direct observations of clean water source conditions. The system was designed using the Unified Modelling Language (UML), and the Android application was developed with Flutter Dart via the Visual Studio Code platform. Application functionality was tested using the black-box testing method to ensure performance reliability. The developed Android-based GIS application successfully maps and visualizes clean water sources, providing users with accurate and accessible spatial information. The system enables communities to identify the nearest clean water sources efficiently, particularly in post-disaster conditions. The findings demonstrate that integrating GIS with mobile technology can significantly improve public access to clean water information while promoting community involvement in environmental resource management. This innovation serves as a practical step toward sustainable and participatory water resource management in disaster-affected areas.
