Abstract

The low mathematical ability of students in spatial geometry material is due, in part, to the low spatial abilities of students, so the researcher designed a learning media in the form of a betel prop. This study aims to produce a design for the development of tepak betel teaching aids for students' spatial abilities in truncated geometric shapes. This research is a development (RnD) using a 4-D development model which is modified into 3-D namely the define stage, the design stage, and the develop stage. The research instrument was an expert feasibility test questionnaire and an instrument for evaluating learning outcomes. Based on the results of the expert validation, the results of the final assessment on IPPP-1 by the three experts with an average score of 3.72 with a percentage of 93.0% met the eligibility criteria. The results of the final assessment on IPPP-2 by the three experts with an average score of 3.83 with a percentage of 95.8% met the feasible criteria. As well as the results of the final IPPP-3 assessment by the three experts with an average score of 3.69 with a percentage of 92.4% meeting the feasible criteria. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the design of the tepak sirih teaching aid development on students' spatial abilities in the material of truncated geometric shapes is feasible to use. Keywords: Design Development, Props, Tepak Sirih

Abstract

Abstract. Cobb-Douglas Production Function is one of the models often used in economics to describe the relationship between production inputs such as capital (K) and labor (L) with the output produced. The production process involves cost allocation that is expected to generate large profits so that the company can survive and grow. To achieve this goal, companies need to optimize production costs in order to achieve the minimum cost of producing a certain output. Production cost is the total expenditure of a company to produce goods or services in a certain period. This study aims to analyze the production cost for Cobb-Douglas production function with constant returns to scale in the short run and long run. In the short run, one of the inputs is considered fixed so that changes in output are affected by changes in variable inputs. In contrast, in the long run, all inputs are considered variable which allows the company to adjust all production factors to achieve optimal costs. The method used in this research is to conduct a literature study related to production costs and Cobb-Douglas production function from various sources. The conclusion of this study shows that the production cost in the long run is the lowest cost in each short run. Thus, the long run cost curve will be below the short run cost curve.

Abstract

The success of endodontic treatment depends on proper shaping, disinfection, and obturation of the root canals. The filling material must adequately occupy the root canal space without extending the anatomical apex. Overfilling occurs when the filling material extrudes into the periapical tissues beyond the apex, which negatively affects the long-term prognosis. Endodontic overfilling cases can be addressed through surgical treatments aimed at preserving the tooth. This case report aims to inform to highlight endodontic surgery as an effective treatment for cases of failed root canal treatment due to overfilling of the obturation material. A 27-year-old male patient came to the Dental Conservation clinic at RSGM Prof. Soedomo with a chief complaint of the left maxillary lateral incisor, which had undergone discoloration and caused discomfort during chewing. The tooth had undergone root canal treatment two years prior. Periapical radiographic examination revealed that tooth 22 had been treated with overfilling obturation material and there was widening of the periodontal membrane in the periapical area. Root canal retreatment was performed using the crown-down preparation technique, followed by single-cone obturation with a bioceramic sealer. At the subsequent visit, an apicoectomy was performed, involving flap opening, alveolar bone exposure, removal of granulation tissue, and resection of 3 mm of the tooth apex. Retrograde filling with Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) was applied, followed by bone grafting and membrane placement. The area was sutured and covered with a periodontal dressing. The final restoration was completed using direct composite resin with intracanal retention. At the one-week follow-up, the patient reported no complaints. In conclusion, apicoectomy is an effective solution for overfilling cases. This case report demonstrates that surgery combined with retreatment can preserve the tooth and restore its function.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning often faces challenges in the form of student boredom in class, which has an impact on low participation and understanding of the material. This study aims to analyze the application of active learning methods in overcoming student boredom at SD Negeri 094175 Margosono. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the application of active learning methods, such as group discussions, educational games, and role-playing, can increase students' interest in learning. Students become more enthusiastic, actively participate, and understand the material being taught more easily. In addition, teachers play an important role in creating an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere by implementing various learning strategies. The obstacles faced in implementing this method include time constraints, lack of supporting learning media, and differences in student learning abilities. However, with good classroom management and the selection of appropriate methods, student boredom can be minimized. Therefore, active learning methods can be an alternative for teachers in creating a more effective and enjoyable learning process.
