Abstract

This research aims to examine how Islamic law views the concept of monopoly, as well as the impact of that view on monopoly practices in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study concluded that Islamic law's view of monopoly influences monopoly practices in Indonesia. The practice of monopoly in Indonesia takes the opinion of Islamic law which states that monopolies are allowed as long as it has a positive impact on society. This opinion is then applied in government policy to monopolize certain business areas, where the goal is to meet the needs of the community for primary goods at a reasonable price. The limitation of this study is that it does not analyze other factors that influence the government's monopoly policy. Keywords: Islamic law, monopoly

Abstract

The research aims to see the extent of public perception of Indonesian Islamic banks. The object of this research is the customers of Islamic banks in the city of Kediri. By using a qualitative and descriptive approach, as well as perception theory, this study concludes that the function and existence of Islamic banking is not only a place for saving or Islamic transactions but also a place to increase worship values. This public perception can be seen in people's understanding of the relationship between Islam and Islamic banking. The public can understand the involvement of Islamic teachings in every activity in Islamic banking. Public perception of the decision to choose to bank is a process of interpreting the object of perception, namely Islamic banking, whether concrete or not, and this is influenced by knowledge in the form of information, experience, motivation, and desires according to their needs.

This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with LAZISNU Kediri administrators who have experience working with PPZ FEBI IAIN Kediri students. The research results show that LAZISNU Kediri administrators generally assess PPZ FEBI IAIN Kediri students as having good soft skill competencies, especially in communication and teamwork. However, several aspects still need to be improved, such as time management and problem-solving abilities. It is hoped that these findings can provide input for study programs in developing curricula and extracurricular activities that are more effective in improving students' soft skill competencies.

Abstract

The problem of waste that is increasingly accumulating in the Islamic boarding school environment, as is the case at the Darussalam II Kencong Islamic Boarding School, Kepung, Kediri, is a challenge that needs to be addressed immediately. This community service program aims to increase economic value and zero waste. Through the Asset Basic Community Development approach, this community service has an impact on increasing awareness of the importance of good waste management among students, Islamic boarding school administrators and the surrounding community. This awareness continues to lead to changes in behavior in waste management, such as sorting waste, reducing organic waste, and reusing waste so that there is a reduction in the volume of waste disposed of in final disposal sites. The most important impact is an increase in the economic value of Islamic boarding schools through waste management, for example from the sale of recycled waste or processed products from organic waste, as well as environmental preservation and achieving the goal of zero waste
