Abstract

The world of education has the most significant composition of human resources, namely teachers, who have an essential role in achieving the success of educational goals. The right HR management strategy is needed to produce performance according to organizational expectations. Employee satisfaction with the implemented HR management practices influences the achievement of HR performance. This study aimed to determine teacher satisfaction with the HR management practices of the XYZ educational foundation. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods and data collection methods using surveys. Analysis of survey results using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to determine the importance and performance/implementation of HR management practices in XYZ educational foundation. The study results stated that implementing recruitment and selection management at the XYZ educational foundation exceeded employee expectations, and HR development management was maintained. In contrast, performance management and compensation received priority for improvement. XYZ educational institutions can use the findings from this study to improve HR management strategies to increase teacher-employee satisfaction, improve teacher performance, and achieve the foundation's goalsDOI: https://doi.org/10.34149/jmbr.v21i1.485

Abstract

The creative economy sector contributes to the national gross domestic product. However, creative economy workers face precarious working conditions. So far, adequate research is needed on the success of creative sector gig workers who utilize online labour markets (OLMs) to interact with clients. This research aims to build a model that can describe the moderating role of individual intellectual capital on the relationship between job resources and digital creative gig workers' success. Survey data was collected from 197 gig creative digital workers. The statistical analysis was conducted with SmartPLS 4.0. The results of this study show that job demands have a negative and significant effect on the success of gig workers, job autonomy does not have a substantial impact on the success of gig workers, individual intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on the success of gig workers, individual intellectual capital as a moderating variable influences the relationship between job demands and success of gig workers, individual intellectual capital as a moderating variable does not significantly influence the relationship between job autonomy and success of gig workers. This research creates the basis for future investigations that examine the direct and indirect associations between the job demand-resource model, individual intellectual capital, and gig worker success. By applying the job demand-resource model equipped with individual intellectual capital, the article suggests that gig workers, policymakers, policy executors, and educators must focus on investing in gig workers' intellectual capital to improve the gig worker's well-being.

Abstract

PT Haleyora Power, anak perusahaan PLN, menyediakan layanan operasi dan pemeliharaan di sektor transmisi dan distribusi untuk wilayah Sumatera, Jawa, dan Bali, dengan layanan utama berupa Pelayanan Teknik (Yantek). Dalam transformasi PLN 2.0, Yantek berperan penting dalam mencapai inisiatif Digital Moonshot, khususnya melalui Turbocharge PLN Mobile. Namun, PT Haleyora menghadapi tantangan dalam mencapai KPI terkait durasi pemadaman dan waktu tanggap akibat kurangnya kompetensi petugas Yantek dalam beradaptasi dengan digitalisasi, yang berdampak pada kualitas layanan pelanggan yang diukur melalui aplikasi PLN Mobile. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi berbasis kompetensi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan petugas Yantek dalam mengadaptasi alat digital baru dan proses kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan kualitas layanan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan fokus pada pelatihan intensif aplikasi digital baru, perubahan proses kerja, dan peningkatan keterampilan teknis, serta evaluasi kompetensi secara berkala untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan tuntutan transformasi PLN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan petugas Yantek, memungkinkan mereka memenuhi KPI dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan pelanggan melalui PLN Mobile. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan berbasis kompetensi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan mencapai tujuan transformasi digital PLN. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, meningkatkan layanan pelanggan, dan mendukung keberhasilan inisiatif transformasi digital PLN.
