Abstract

Abstrak Permainan kartu berseri, atau lebih populer disebut Trading Card Game, adalah permainan yang sangat diminati, baik oleh anak-anak, remaja, bahkan kadang sampai orangtua. Indonesia telah menciptakan beberapa Trading Card Game. Namun, pengangkatan konten lokal dalam Trading Card Game buatan Indonesia masih sedikit, dan ini sangat disayangkan mengingat banyak budaya Indonesia yang diasumsikan akan hilang kalau tidak dilestarikan. Salah satu dari budaya ini adalah Wayang. Penulis mendapat ide dari ini untuk menciptakan Trading Card Game menggunakan Wayang sebagai sorotan utamanya. Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan perancangan Trading Card Game bertemakan Wayang bernama Wayang Warfare yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan wayang kepada masyarakat. Kata Kunci : card game, ramayana, wayangAbstract Serial Card Games, or more often called Trading Card Game, is a widely reknowned and admired branch of gaming, be it by children, teenagers and adults alike. Even Indonesia has invented many Trading Card Games. Unfortunately, the ‘local content’ that has been brought into the games has been nothing but scarce, and considering Indonesia’s many, many cultures, some of them are dying, this is indeed unfortunate. One of these cultures is Wayang. The writer of this journal got an idea of creating a Trading Card Game using Wayang as the primary object of exposure, one in many reasons is to immortalize the dying culture, and of course, to entertain and educate the players. This paper depicts the Wayang Warfare trading card game design process.
