Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning of elementary school teachers in implementing learning from the Covid-19 pandemic and inhibiting factors for teachers in implementing bold learning. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were teachers and third-grade students of Elementary School Plaosan II Wonoayu, while the research data collection techniques used observation, documentation and interviews. Analysis of research data using the Miles and Hiberman analysis data model. The research shows that parents have a role, including learning planning carried out by teachers in bold learning such as syllabus, learning implementation and learning media by making their own and conducting discussions with other teachers. Teachers have not experienced and mastered learning technology, so it is challenging to design bold activities.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of people in learning activities during the pandemic. Researchers found problems with online learning, teachers have difficulty monitoring students during learning, so they need parents as substitutes for teachers while studying at home. To examine these problems, researchers used a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The research subjects are parents of grade 1 students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that parents have a role (1) to prepare learning facilities such as cellphones, Wifi, internet data packages. (2) Parents accompany when learning takes place, doing assignments, homework, and practicum. While the problems of online learning experienced by parents are: (1) parents are busy with homework, there are also parents who have to work. (2) The lack of explanation from the teacher because they only got assignments through the WA group. (3) Parents do not understand the material so they find it difficult to help students. (4) It is difficult for parents to increase learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Articulate Storyline Application based RAYA (Cultural Variety) Learning Media on the interest in learning social studies for fourth graders at SDN Balongmacekan, and to find out how much influence the application of the interactive articulate storyline-based RAYA (Cultural Variety) learning media has on learning interest. Social Studies students of class IV SDN Balongmacekan. Analysis of research data using the t-test (one-tail test). Uses experimental research methods and one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used a student's social studies learning interest questionnaire. The sampling technique used a total sample, and fourteen student was the fourth-grade of SDN Balongmacekan. The results showed of the t-test with a tcount of 32.56. If viewed from the t table value with a significance level of 5% (0.05), the value is 1.761, and it can be said that the value of tcount > ttable is 32.56 > 1.761. This shows an influence on applying articulate storyline-based RAYA (Cultural Variety) learning media on the interest in learning social studies for fourth-grade students at SDN Balongmacekan. While the results of the analysis using eta square show that the value of eta square is 0.987 > 0.14, this shows that there is a significant influence on the application of interactive media-based RAYA (Cultural Variety) learning media on the interest in learning social studies for fourth-grade students at SDN Balongmacekan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of augmented reality learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes in elementary social studies subjects. The research method used is quantitative experimental, pre experimental design, one group pretest-posttest. The data collection technique was done by giving pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistics include parametric statistics using paired sample t-test. The results of the study found that there was a big influence on the use of augmented reality learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes in elementary social studies subjects. There are two aspects of increasing students' learning motivation including intrinsic and extrinsic aspects. Meanwhile, the increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain is at levels C1, C2 and C3. The results of this study suggest that teachers, especially teachers at the elementary level, make more use of technology in making learning media, especially in social studies subjects. In addition to facilitating the planting of learning concepts, the use of technology-based learning media is also useful in making learning activities more interesting and making it easier for students to understand learning materials.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the learning planning, application of PKn (Civics) instruction, and teacher barriers in online learning for fourth-grade students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects include teachers, principals, and students from SDN Panggreh II. Data collection techniques comprise interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis employs the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal that teachers at SDN Panggreh II implemented online learning plans, encompassing syllabi, lesson plans, and learning media. However, they encountered challenges due to limited experience in online teaching and difficulties in selecting appropriate learning materials and activities. The study underscores the need for effective strategies to enhance online Civics instruction and overcome these obstacles, thereby ensuring quality education during times of crisis. Highlights: Importance of online learning: Explore the challenges and strategies involved in implementing online learning for fourth-grade students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Enhancing Civics education: Investigate the application of PKn (Civics) instruction in an online learning environment, emphasizing the need for effective learning plans and appropriate teaching methods. Teacher barriers and solutions: Identify the barriers faced by teachers, such as limited online teaching experience and difficulty selecting suitable learning materials, and propose potential solutions to overcome these challenges.
