Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve science process skills in early childhood. Science process skills are children's abilities in thinking and investigating the natural environment around a series of learning processes. These skills are abilities that use reason, reason and effective and efficient actions to achieve certain results. With science process skills children can find facts that occur in their environment. Science process skills in group B children in PAUD Tashwirul Afkar are still low, therefore experimental methods are applied in the learning process to improve the condition. The results of applying experimental methods with natural materials can improve the science process skills of group B children in PAUD Tashwirul Afkar. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of children's science process skills since the action was taken at the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. At the pre-cycle completeness the overall value of the child is 33%. In the first cycle the overall value of the child is 58% and in the second cycle the overall value of the child is 91%.

Abstract

Praktikum atau percobaan merupakan bagian penting dalam pembelajaran IPA. Hal ini juga tidak kalah pentingnya untuk mata pelajaran matematika yaitu untuk simulasi dalam pemahaman konsep matematis yang disampaikan, sebagai bahan untuk latihan lanjutan. Sering kali sekolah mempunyai keterbatasan dalam alat dan bahan untuk kegiatan praktikum, sehingga kegiatan praktikum ditiadakan. Tidak ada alasan untuk tidak melakukan kegiatan praktikum, karena ada laboratorium virtual sebagai upaya pemanfaatan Information Communication Technology (ICT). Laboratorium virtual menggunakan PhET Interactive Simulations. Berdasarkan hasil angket respons guru IPA dan matematika diperoleh: 1) pelatihan yang dilakukan sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini, yaitu kondisi kegiatan belajar dari rumah (Pandemi Covid-19), tidak ada yang tidak mungkin bahwa kegiatan praktikum IPA/ Matematika harus tetap berjalan meski dengan laboratorium virtual baik online maupun offline; 2) guru IPA dan Matematika semangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan, selain dengan antusias dan semangat serta memberikan reaksi positif dengan kesanggupan dalam mengimplementasikan laboratorium virtual pada mata pelajaran yang diajarkan, 3) materi hand out dan daftar aplikasi PhET yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013 pada kompetensi IPA dan Matematika SMP serta bahan ajar untuk implementasi PhET telah membantu guru dalam memahami pelatihan yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek kemampuan yang penting untuk dikembangkan pada anak usia dini adalahkemampuan motorik halus anak. Kemampuan motorik halus membantu anak untukmemperoleh kemandiriannya, membantu mendapatkan penerimaan sosial, dan dapatmenimbulkan rasa percaya diri pada anak. Kemampuan motorik halus dapat ditingkatkan melaluibermain messy play. Messy Play merupakan jenis permainan yang merangsang sensor motorikhalus dan kasar.Permainan ini dilakukan anak baik di alam terbuka maupun di dalam ruangandan membuat tubuh anak menjadi kotor, sehingga dikatakan dengan bermain messy play.Selaintubuh anak aktif, anak juga akan belajar mengkoordinasikan panca inderanya melalui sentuhan,bau, rasa, pendengaran, dan penglihatan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1)mendeskripsikanpenerapan bermain messy play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak KelompokA, (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan bermain messy play dalam meningkatkan kemampuanmotorik halus anak Kelompok A. Sedangkan luaran yang ditargetkan dalam penelitian ini adalahtersedianya perangkat pembelajaran dengan penerapan bermain Messy Play untukmeningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak TK kelompok A. Metode yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui 4tahapan dalam setiap siklusnya. Adapun tahapan tersebut adalah: (1) perencanaan, (2)pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyiyah BustanulAthfal Kalibader dengan 2 siklus. Siklus I dilakukan empat kali pertemuan, jika dalam siklus Ibelum berhasil, maka dilakukan siklus II dengan tiga kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan observasi, lembar asesmen, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penerapanbermain messy play dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A di TKAisyiyah Kalibader. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya peningkatan pada nilai ketuntasan di siklus I dansiklus II. Pada siklus I ketuntasan nilai keseluruhan kelompok A adalah 65%, dan pada siklus IIketuntasan nilai keseluruhan kelompok A adalah 88,1%. Hal ini membuktikan adanya peningkatankemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A setelah dilakukan penerapan bermain messy play.

Abstract

The analytical thinking skills is important are mastered in all areas of the work, so it needs to be trained at school. But in fact, only 5% of Indonesian students have analytical competence, the competency of most students at the level of knowledge or memorization. Research is conducted to uncover activities, analytical thinking skills, and pre-service student teachers' of natural science education responses through model 4A (phenomenon Analysis, information Analysis, data Analysis, and findings Analysis). The results of study were obtained that: 1) pre-service student teachers' activities are still relevant to learning; 2) the results of the average test results analytical thinking skills, it can be said high that is 78.9; and 3) pre-service student teachers' response to the fluid lecture with model 4A is categorized positively. These results, need to be encouraged to other courses so that the possibility of analytical thinking skills will increase significantly.

Abstract

Local wisdom that was raised as a model to understand the concept of natural science has been done in various regions and improved good results. In the current condition of the covid-19 pandemic, natural science teachers need effective learning strategies in conveying concepts, through natural science learning based ethno-STEM this can be answered. The community servicer was gathered natural science teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah throughout Sidoarjo regency to develop natural science learning based ethno-STEM what material and instruments through training. This activity was attended by 21 natural science teachers, representing of ten SMP Muhammadiyah throughout Sidoarjo regency. The activity lasted for 4 days from December 30, 2020 to January 2, 2021, which produced natural science learning based ethno-STEM what material and instruments for secondary school grade VII, VIII, and IX even semester. These learning material and instruments have also been studied by experts so that the results of improvements will improve the validity of the devices and instruments in question. The resulting devices and instruments will be compiled and made into practical books teaching natural science based ethno-STEM. This book is then registered in the Library of The Republic of Indonesia and registered in the Intellectual Property Rights. Advice for further community service activities so that devices and instruments can be implemented in students so that their practicality and effectiveness are tested.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of group A children in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi in recognizing the symbol of numbers. Based on a preliminary study in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Temple found that 70.59% of 17 Kindergarten A children were still wrong in recognizing good symbols when asked to say by sorting number cards, dancing lines according to the number of drawings, counting many marbles and pasting numbers right. These problems are caused by the introduction of non-matching number symbols, and non-concrete learning media (using worksheets). The solution provided is the introduction of the number symbol by playing snakes and ladders with steps to recognize the symbol number. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subject of the action was the children of group A "Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi, totaling 17 children, each with 13 boys and 4 girls. In this study using three stages, namely pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results of this study that have been carried out to improve the ability to recognize child group A symbols in Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Kindergarten Temple show that the ability to recognize child number symbols from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II has increased. In the pre-cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 29.41%, the first cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 52.94%, and in the second cycle the completeness value of group A was 82.35%. This proves that there is an increase in the ability to recognize child number symbols after a study using a snake ladder game in learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten through storytelling method assisted by picture card media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles with three meetings in each cycle. The data collection technique used is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The indicator of success in this study is if the average value of children's speaking ability through storytelling method assisted by picture card media has reached the very well developed criteria (BSB) with a percentage of 75%-100%. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's speaking skills through storytelling methods assisted by picture card media at Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten gradually from pre-cycle, first cycle and second cycle. This is evidenced by the increase in the average speaking ability of children in the pre-cycle by 33%, increasing to 58% in the first cycle of action and reaching 92% in the second cycle of action. The results of this study are expected to provide information to institutions that handle early childhood or the general public who need information about the application of picture card-assisted storytelling methods to improve speaking skills in children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

Cognitive ability is one of the developmental aspects of children who are experiencing maturity and need to be developed. In the cognitive development of early childhood there is one development that must be developed, namely recognizing letters. The introduction of the letters of the alphabet in early childhood helps children to recognize various kinds of letters of the alphabet. Regarding the letter recognition program, it can be done using interactive video media "Let's Get to Know the Letters". The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in Group A children in PKK 1 Jodokan Kindergarten, Beji District. This research is a Classroom Action Research. Based on the data analysis carried out, it was concluded that the ability to recognize the letters of the alphabet in group A in Pre-cycle obtained an average value of 35%, while in Cycle I the percentage was 48.33%, which means less than the maximum. Then giving the Cycle II action, the percentage of the average value becomes 93%, so that the average gain in cycle I and cycle II has increased again by 44.67%. The conclusion of this research is that through viewing the interactive video "Let's Get to Know the Letters" can increase the ability to recognize the letters of the alphabet.

Abstract

Abstrak Memahami lambang bilangan pada anak usia dini merupakan salah satu kemamampuan yang harus dicapai, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan lambang bilangan. Berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa sebagian anak-anak kelompok A yang ada di TK Aura Kids Tulangan, mendapatkan permasalahan dimana sebagian dari mereka kesulitan mengenal lambang bilangan. Maka dari itu diperlukan penerapan permainan engklek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan. Peneliti menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II untuk memperoleh hasil sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Pada pra siklus sebagian besar anak masih memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 39,44% sedangkan pada siklus I prosentase nilai meningkat sehingga diperoleh prosentas nilai menjadi 66,67% yang berarti kurang maksimal. Kemudian peneliti melanjutkan dengan memberi tindakan pada siklus II, setelah dilakukan penelitian pada siklus II ini prosentase nilai rata-rata anak menjadi 92,22%, sehingga dari perolehan rata-rata di siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perbandingan antara siklus I dan siklus II selama penelitian berlangsung. Dari hasil yang diperoleh terdapat peningkatan yang membuktikan bahwa dengan Permainan  Engklek dapat meningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan

Abstract

Memahami konsep bilangan pada anak merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dicapai dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenalkan konsep bilangan. Berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa sebagian anak-anak kelompok bermain yang ada di KB Darussalam Balun Kejapanan, mendapatkan permasalahan dimana sebagian dari mereka kesulitan mengenal konsep bilangan. Maka dari itu diperlukan penerapan media papan flanel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan 1-10. Peneliti menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II untuk memperoleh hasil sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Pada pra siklus sebagian besar anak masih memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 40,28%% sedangkan pada siklus I prosentase nilai meningkat sehingga diperoleh prosentas nilai menjadi 65,97% yang berarti kurang maksimal. Kemudian peneliti melanjutkan dengan memberi tindakan pada siklus II, setelah dilakukannya penelitian pada siklus II ini prosentase nilai rata-rata anak menjadi meningkat 93,05%%, sehingga dari perolehan rata-rata di siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perbandingan antara siklus I dan siklus II selama penelitian berlangsung. Dari hasil yang diperoleh terdapat peningkatan yang membuktikan bahwa dengan adanya Media Papan Flanel dapat meningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan.
