Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. The aim of this research is to describe the concept of online lectures via Google Meet to increase student activity. The subjects of this research were 1st semester PGSD students in online lectures for the Basic Elementary Science Concepts course, consisting of 21 people in class F and 24 people in class G. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was conducted in 8 meetings. Each meeting requires 1 hour 30 minutes of learning time. Each class is divided into 10 groups consisting of between 2-3 students. The data collection technique in this research is through documentation (group presentations, student online attendance) and questionnaires. The data in this research will be analyzed by using a qualitative descriptive method. The result of this research showed that online learning using Google Meet can increase student activity in the learning process. This can be proven from the enthusiasm of students during group discussions as well as the presence of students in attending lectures and student responses through the distribution of questionnaires.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kepustakaan (library research) yang mengkaji mengenai penggunaan media video pada mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis media video yang menarik perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA, yang membantu siswa dalam memahami materi, yang meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, serta menganalisis kesulitan atau hambatan dalam penggunaan media video di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu  dengan mengumpulkan data dari jurnal-jurnal, terutama yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir, dengan pencarian melalui google schoolar.  Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, yang diperoleh secara tidak langsung. Instrument  yang digunakan yaitu matriks jurnal dan dokumen. Dari Hasil analisis artikel maka diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu penggunaan media video dapat menarik perhatian siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga membantu siswa dalam memahami materi yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa, adapun hambatan yang dialami menjadikan guru dan siswa lebih belajar lagi untuk menemukan solusi dengan baik.This research is library research which examines the use of video media in science subjects in elementary schools. The aim of this research is to analyze video media that attracts students' attention in science learning, which helps students understand the material, which increases student motivation and learning outcomes, as well as analyzing difficulties or obstacles in using video media in elementary schools. This research method is to collect data from journals, especially those published in the last 10 years, by searching via Google School. The type of data used is secondary data, which is obtained indirectly. The instruments used are journal and document matrices. From the results of the analysis of the article, research results were obtained, namely that the use of video media can attract students' attention in the learning process, thereby helping students understand the material which has an impact on improving learning outcomes and student learning motivation, while the obstacles experienced make teachers and students learn more to discover solution well.
