Abstract

Motivation plays a strategic role in individual activities. Every individual in their life has a motivation that drives them to achieve their desired goals. Losing motivation means losing direction and purpose in life. There are various methods that can be used to increase motivation, both through internal and external factors. One way to increase external motivation is by doing activities such as watching inspirational stories, reading motivational quotes, and so on. Issues of ethics or morality have consistently penetrated human life throughout the ages. Along with this journey of life, in each specific time period and location, individuals emerge who struggle to maintain moral values.

Abstract

This article seeks to explore Zainal Arifin Abbas' conceptualization of al-Hubb (Love). It poses two central questions: firstly, what is Zainal Arifin Abbas' interpretation of the concept of al-Hubb, and secondly, how does he construct the foundational framework for interpreting al-Hubb? This qualitative research relies on both primary and secondary data sources. The primary data comprises Zainal Arifin Abbas' writings in Tafsir Al-Qur'an al-Karim and Ilmu Tasawuf. Concurrently, secondary data, including articles, dissertations, and supporting information, is incorporated. The data is subjected to content analysis. The findings reveal that al-Hubb serves as a fundamental determinant of behavior, guiding individuals towards peace, security, and a devout faith in brotherhood. Zainal Arifin Abbas imparts a message of love in his works, emphasizing that love originates from knowledge, familiarity, and the reception of goodness. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melacak konsepsi pemikiran Zainal Arifin Abbas mengenai Al-Hubb (Cinta). Dalam artikel ini mengajukan pertanyaan, pertama bagaimana konsep penafsiran al-Hubb menurut Zainal Arifin Abbas?, kedua, bagaimana konstruksi dasar penafsiran al-Hub menurut Zainal Arifin Abbas?. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan dua sumber data yaitu primer dan sekunder. Data primer yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah tulisan Zainal Arifin Abbas dalam Tafsir Al-Qur’an al-Karim dan Ilmu Tasawuf. Sedangkan untuk data sekunder yang digunakan adalah artikel, disertasi, atau data-data yang mendukung dalam penelitian ini. Dari data yang ada akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan content analysis. Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa al-Hubb (Cinta) sebagai landasan bersikap, yang bisa membawakan manusia kepada kedamaian, keamanan, serta keimanan dan persaudaraan yang suci. Zainal Arifin Abbas juga menawarkan pesan cinta (al-Hubb ) dalam beberapa karyanya. Pesan cinta itu memuat asal lahirnya cinta dari pengetahuan dan perkenalan. Dan cinta itu lahir dari kebaikan yang diterima.

Abstract

The topic was brought up by the researcher as a student's encounter with moral Sufism, which is defined by social behavior. Some pupils behave badly in social situations. Students today tend to undervalue moral ideals, which leads them to believe that social interaction in the classroom and in society is unimportant. They also prefer to disregard their responsibilities, which they should fulfill. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how Moral Sufism affects the social behavior of students enrolled in the 2019 class of the Islamic Aqidah and Philosophy Study Program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Studies, University of the Nija. The author's primary data source for this study was informants, who were gathered using a qualitative approach method. Specifically, students enrolled in the 2019 Aqidah and Islamic philosophy study program. The data gathering method used in this study is based on references from multiple Sufism moral texts, as well as on the findings of interviews and field observations. According to the study's findings, moral sufism encourages students to act in a way that is socially responsible for people around them by attempting to achieve equilibrium in the forms of social conduct that are already prevalent, such as in the classroom, family, and community. Moral Sufism's moral principles serve as a form of control and discipline, ensuring that students' higher education experiences remain unblemished by external influences.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the secret meaning of salawat in the Qur'an and find out how and how the Al-Qur'an interprets the study of the book Al-Jailani. This research is qualitative and is a type of library research. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used is the descriptive analysis method. The research results show that (1) in the Koran, the researchers found Surah al-Ahzab 56 that Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani, in his interpretation, explained that salawat is a form of respect and glorification. (2) the form of respect here is believing in all the truths of the Prophet. glorify it, stay away from what Allah and the Messenger forbade. (3) the word respect here enters into human beings, namely humans whose names and characteristics of God are reflected in their entirety and who have the knowledge to reach the highest level of consciousness towards God.

Abstract

Nowadays, inter-religious conflicts are prone to occur in various regions, including Medan City. Burning houses of worship, prohibiting worship, and disturbing the solemnity of other people's worship are conflicts that often occur. Tolerance and harmony are the main weapons in creating peaceful living among communities. This is what is built by the Medan City Religious Harmony Forum. The Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB) of Medan City maintains tolerance and harmony among religious communities through educative, dialogical approaches and interfaith deliberations to build mutual understanding and resolve potential conflicts peacefully. This approach is in line with the principle of taʿāruf (knowing each other) in QS. Al-Hujurat verse 13, which according to the mufasir Sahl al-Tustari, shows that diversity is a means to understand each other and perfect ourselves, not to be contradicted. The results of research in the community show that Qur'anic values such as QS. Al-Kāfirūn: 6, QS. Al-Baqarah: 256, and QS. Al-Hujurat: 13 have been internalized in the lives of interfaith communities in Medan City. The findings from three different areas (Muslim-majority, non-Muslim, and balanced) show that tolerance has become part of the community's social culture. Thus, the Qur'an is not only a guide to faith but also a guideline to build a peaceful and harmonious plural society. This research uses descriptive qualitative methodology with a thematic interpretation approach using theological-normative perspectives.

AbstrakPembahasan toleransi berdasarkan kitab al-Iklil dengan analisis ilmu sosial adalah sebuah langkah maju untuk memperkenalkan bahwa Islam tidak hanya bergulat pada sufisme dan pengalaman mistis semata. Tetapi juga mengakrabkan manusia dengan realitas. Selama ini, agama dianggap mengasingkan manusia dari realitas, seperti pandangan Marx yang menyebut bahwa agama membuat orang hanya bermimpi tentang realitas imajiner, atau Sigmund Freud yang menyebut agama hanya ilusi yang harus dimusnahkan. Setidaknya, dengan pengkajian nilai toleransi dalam tafsir al-Iklil, dapat diketahui bahwa ajaran Islam sangat dekat dengan realitas masyarakat[1] Secara umum, tidak terdapat diksi tasammuh dalam Alquranyang bermakna toleransi. Namun di dalam Alquran, terdapat banyak ayat yang membahas tentang sikap dan cara untuk menjalin interaksi dalam berkehidupan antara umat beragama. Ayat-ayat Alquran akan menjadi pondasi kepada  nilai-nilai tasammuh yang diajarkan oleh Islam melalui kitab sucinya.Penelitian ini, sebagaimana yang disebutkan di atas, terfokus kepada penelaahan terhadap teks-teks tafsir karya ulama besar tanah jawa yaitu Kh. Misbah Musthafa zein dalam tafsir al-Iklil dengan ayat-ayat tasammuh. Sebagaimana kita lihat kajian tentang Tasammuh sangat menarik untuk dikaji. Dari hasil penelaahan, ditemukan beberapa poin penting terkait pondasi toleransi yang telah dikaji berdasar pemikiran beliau.Kata Kunci:  Islam, Sufisme, Tasammuh, Tafsir[1] Kuntowijoyo, Muslim Tanpa Masjid, (Bandung: Mizan, 2001), hlm 98-99.

Abstract

Syekh Ali Ad-Daba’ adalah seorang ahli di dunia Qiraat di masanya, namun ada yang jarang dikupas dari sosok beliau adalah kemuliaan akhlak yang beliau pancarkan dalam Pendidikan Qiraat pada murid-muridnya. Ekspektasi yang dilakukan beliau adalah untuk memenuhi harapan para orang tua di Mesir agar anak-anak mereka dapat mencintai Al-Qur’an dan menyikapinya di dalam berprilaku mulia di kehidupan seharian mereka. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang termasuk library research.. Analisa yang digunakan adalah Analisa deskriftif untuk menemukan korelasi dari adab berqiraatulqur’an dengan akhlakulkarimah dalam perspektif Syekh Ali Ad-Dabba’.Temuan yang ditemukan, ternyata adab-adab yang dibangun oleh Syekh Ali Ad-Dabba’ menggambarkan kekuatan penuh terhadap hubungan/korelasinya dengan akhlakulkarimah. Dimulai dengan membuat adab membaca Al-Qur’an kepadamurid-muridnya agar menanamkan keikhlasan, kecintaan kepada Allah Swt dengan penuh kedekatan, bagaikan berbincang dengan-Nya, hanya mengharapkan rido-Nya bukan amplop dan pujian orang-orang di sekitarnya. Bahkan menanamkan adab untuk tidak membacanya di tempat yang bernajis seperti kamar mandi dan WC. Semua adab yang dibentuk oleh beliau merupakan sebuah disiplin yang akan membiasakan mereka dan membangun sebuah prilaku yang menghubungkan mereka kepada akhlak yang mulia

Abstract

A bad environment will shape the bad character of a person's character. This is where all forms of good attitudes, words, and habits carried out in the environment will form a person's mental health. The application of religion can be one that can be applied in the environment to get good habits. This will be a factor that helps children to fortify themselves from bad responses when facing exams. Likewise, a bad environment will form a bad mentality in children. So that this mental disorder triggers the emergence of bipolar disorder. This study aims to determine the relevance of good practices and the application of tasawuf akhlaqi in maintaining mental health so that it will prevent bipolar disorder in a person. The approach taken in this research is qualitative with the type of library research, in which the related data will be analyzed to get the desired results. The results of this study indicate that presenting religious concepts in life can lead to patience in facing trials, and the emotions that will be caused can be managed properly.

Abstract

Overthinking in kbbi is too much time to think about things in a detrimental way and Overthinking can be in the form of khwatir, Overthinking in the Islamic perspective a special form of feeling of fear. The fear that arises will develop greater if it is accompanied by feelings of alertness, anxiety, the presence of certain fantasies and emotions. Overthinking can be caused because it is not yet fully human to have tawakkal skills and depend only on God, Overthinking can also waste energy from thinking about things in an excessive way. Overthinking makes a person think of fears that do not necessarily occur and then cause anxiety in the individual. Overthinking is not a trivial matter, to be honest, there are no trivial problems, everything must be addressed immediately. The purpose of the study is to know how overthinking is understood, knowing the biography of Muhammad Quraish Shihab and Tafsir Al-Misbah in social conditions and knowing Overthinking and its prevention according to Muhammad Quraish Shihab in Quran Surah Al-Hujurat verse 12.This type of research uses library research, in literature research in collecting data through the analysis of books and books that are related and have a relationship in supporting research and also writing looking at conditions regarding overthinking. Overthinking leads to bad thinking because basically all is well that in the Tafsir surah Al-hujurat verse 12 it is explained, O people of faith, stay away from the earnest efforts of many of the conjectures i.e. prejudice against human beings who do not have adequate indicators, indeed some of the conjectures that do not have indicators are sins.
