Abstract

Quality Document for PPIC Department (business process, standard operating procedure, work instruction and supporting document) was last updated in 2003, so it does not fit anymore. This condition causes high variation of work, obtructs the application of Toyota Production Sustem and ISO 9001. This problem can be solved by designing the new quality document. Results obtained 17 existing WI deleted, 6 existing  SOP revised, 31 existing WI revised, 2 proposed SOP and 130 proposed  WI added. Business process, supporting documents (form and standard) and tools are also improved in order to support the new quality document. Lastly, controlling system is designed to ensure that quality document always fits with actual condition.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role and responsibilities of hospitals in health services for patients using the Health Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS). Optimal health services for BPJS patients are very important, considering the number of beneficiaries continues to increase in Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this research involving in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation analysis. Research participants consisted of medical personnel, hospital management, and BPJS patients in several hospitals registered as BPJS Health partners. The research results show that although hospitals have tried to meet BPJS service standards, there are various challenges, including limited resources and gaps in access to health facilities. Apart from that, communication and coordination skills between the hospital and BPJS are also important factors in providing efficient services. This study recommends increasing training for health workers and strengthening the coordination system between hospitals and BPJS to improve the quality of health services for BPJS patients.

Abstract

Pain in the spine are the most common disease among informal or unorganized sector workers. This can happen because in the informal sector the use of work ergonomics has not been applied properly, which results in changes in bone structure and pain in the spine. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with bone structure and pain in the spine complaints in Sungai Tiung Traditional Mine workers, Cempaka District, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan. This research is a quantitative observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The subjects of this study were traditional diamond mining workers. The sample of this study was 95 people who were sampled using accidental sampling. The instruments used included questionnaires, Nordic Body Map (NBM) worksheets, Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS), and LMM Key Method. Data analysis used chi square statistical tests and fisher exact test (CI = 95%, ? = 0.05). Results: Statistical test results showed that there was no relationship between age (p-value 0.921), work posture (p-value 0.509), and smoking status (p-value 0.707) with bone structure and pain in the spine complaints, while there was a relationship between manual handling activities (p-value 0.010) with bone structure and pain in the spine complaints. Manual handling activities in traditional diamond mining workers have a relationship with bone structure and pain in the spine complaints, while age, smoking status, and work posture in traditional diamond mining workers have no relationship with bone structure and pain in the spine complaints.

Abstract

The increasing use of Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) to treat severe osteoarthritis demands high surgical precision to ensure optimal alignment, reduce complications, and improve implant longevity. Computer-Assisted Navigation (CAN) has emerged as a technological solution to enhance accuracy in TKA; however, its long-term clinical effectiveness remains debated. This study aims to systematically assess whether CAN significantly improves TKA outcomes compared to conventional methods. Using PRISMA and Cochrane Collaboration guidelines, a systematic literature review was conducted involving 19 eligible peer-reviewed studies published between 2014 and 2024, retrieved from Scopus, PubMed, and Crossref. Data were analyzed using a narrative synthesis approach. Findings indicate that CAN improves radiological alignment and reduces certain complications, including soft tissue damage and inflammatory responses. However, evidence regarding its impact on functional outcomes, patient satisfaction, and revision rates remains inconclusive. Although some studies reported better postoperative range of motion and marginal increases in patient satisfaction, others found no significant difference. These mixed results highlight the need for further longitudinal and randomized studies. The study underscores CAN’s potential in improving surgical accuracy, while urging continued research to validate its broader clinical and economic value.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi, terutama dalam hal e-commerce, memberikan peluang dan tantangan bagi perusahaan untuk terus berkembang dan bersaing di pasar yang semakin kompleks. Tujuan penelitian melibatkan pemahaman konsep e-business dan e-commerce, manfaatnya bagi pelaku usaha, serta kendala yang mungkin timbul dalam penerapannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka sebagai pendekatan utama. Studi literatur dilakukan untuk memahami konsep e-business dan e-commerce, strategi pengembangan bisnis menggunakan teknologi ini, serta pengalaman perusahaan dalam mengaplikasikannya. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi komponen-komponen utama e-business dan e-commerce, seperti website, database produk/jasa, sistem manajemen pesanan, sistem pembayaran, sistem pengiriman, sistem manajemen pelanggan, dan lainnya. Pengaplikasian e-commerce mencakup toko online, pemesanan makanan, pemesanan tiket dan perjalanan, lelang online, marketplace, dan lain-lain.Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-business dan e-commerce bukan hanya pilihan, melainkan kebutuhan mutlak dalam era digital. Inovasi terus menjadi kunci kesuksesan, sementara keamanan informasi dan privasi pelanggan menjadi tantangan utama. Perusahaan perlu beradaptasi, mengembangkan strategi cerdas, dan terus-menerus mencari cara untuk memberikan nilai tambah kepada pelanggan dalam lingkungan bisnis yang terus berkembang.
