Abstract

The development of SiMBa aims to build a disaster mitigation support system based on a Geographic Information System with an open-source platform in processing, creating, and disseminating disaster maps (maps of risk, hazard, and vulnerability) as well as recording disaster events in Gunungkidul Regency. The methodology used in this development is Feature Driven Development (FDD) so that progress can be carried out in a simple and short period. The development of SiMBa concludes that the use of the open-source platforms that were developed can be used as a platform for the application of technical standards in disaster-prone information services in fulfilling Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in Sub-Disaster Affairs. SiMBa is expected to support the assessment of the Regional Resilience Index (IKD) and the Indonesian Disaster Risk Index (IRBI) which specifically target strategies on priorities 2, 3, 4, and 6 in the capacity index improvement strategy in Gunungkidul Regency, Indonesia

Abstract

One of the causes of diabetic nephropathy (ND) that have important role is the increase of free radicals due to high levels of glucose which causes oxidative stress. Oxidative stress activates Angiotensin II and the transcription factor of Nuclear Factor kappa B (NFKb). Prevention and slowing down of ND progression is by using antioxidants. The example of antioxidants are Vitamin E and Rosmarinic Acid (RA). Vitamin E is a conventional antioxidant while RA is a potent antioxidant that also has anti-inflammatory effects. This laboratory experimental study aimed to compare the effects of Vitamin E and RA on the expression of NFKb p-65 in glomelurus of type 2 diabetes rats. NFKb expression of p-65 of positive control increased significantly compared to negative controls (p <0.001), Vitamin E and RA were able to reduce NFKb expression compared to positive controls (p = 0.022 and p = 0.001). respectively there was no significant difference between NFKb expression in the Vitamin E group and Rosmarinic acid but RA decreased better than Vitamin E. It can be concluded that AR had a better effect compared to Vitamin E on the decrease in NFKb p-65 expression in glomelurus type 2 diabetes rats. Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix which includes products, prices, promotions and places partially or simultaneously on the purchase decision of the Vivo smartphone. This type of research uses qualitative and descriptive methods. Consumer research population based on the number of consumers coming. The sampling method used is the Hair et al. The research sample was 90 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis show that: (1) The product influences the purchasing decision of the Vivo smartphone with a tcount of 0.178 and a significant value of 0.36; (2) Price influences the decision to purchase a Vivo smartphone with a t-value of 0.275 and a significant value of 0.005; (3) Promotion influences the decision to purchase Vivo smartphone with a tcount of 0.254 and a significant value of 0.001; (4) Place influences the purchase decision of Vivo smartphone with a tcount value of 0.267 and a significant value of 0.002 (5) Marketing mix includes product, price, promotion and place simultaneously influences the purchase decision with a tcount of 24.797 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination R2 of 0.517 can be interpreted that 51.7% of purchasing decisions are influenced by product, price, promotion and place variables while the remaining 48.3% is influenced by other variables of the study.

Abstract

Aldosterone as a major mineralocorticoid has an important role in regulating circulating volume and potassium homeostasis, especially in the kidney. Manifestation of hypertension and hypokalemia in the young age population must be considered about the role of Aldosterone. This case report will discuss a patient with uncontrolled hypertension with severe hypokalemia who was treated with 3 kinds of antihypertensive drugs but the blood pressure is still high. After performing several diagnostic tests, the Aldosterone level was significantly high and left an adrenal tumor from an abdominal MRI. The patient treated with mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists or Spironolactone 25mg daily and show controlled blood pressure.
