Abstract

Abstract:Generation Z, which is known as a generation that is familiar with technology from an early age, has problems in socializing with the environment. Girlfriend rental services also seem like a way out for this generation to get a partner without any commitments. This paper aims to find a biblical review of girlfriend rental services among generation Z. The research used in this paper, namely a qualitative method of literature study, finds boyfriend rental services among generation Z is not a place of escape and provides a holistic understanding of life that is basic and pleasing. before God. This paper is expected to help the church to provide guidance and biblical teaching for the congregation so that they can make decisions according to God's will.  Abstrak:Generasi Z yang dikenal sebagai generasi yang akrab dengan teknologi sejak dini mengalami masalah dalam hal bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan. Jasa sewa pacar pun terlihat seperti jalan keluar bagi generasi ini untuk mendapatkan pasangan tanpa komitmen yang terjalin. Tulisan ini bertujuan menemukan tinjauan Alkitab tentang jasa sewa pacar pada kalangan generasi Z. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini, yaitu metode kualitatif studi pustaka, menemukan jasa sewa pacar pada kalangan generasi Z bukan menjadi tempat pelarian dan memberikan pemahaman holistik mengenai kehidupan yang mendasar dan berkenan dihadapan Tuhan. Tulisan ini diharapkan membantu gereja untuk memberikan bimbingan dan pengajaran Alkitabiah untuk jemaat agar dapat mengambil keputusan yang sesuai kehendak Tuhan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how Christian ethical principles can be applied in public policy and services in Indonesia. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature study. The research results identified seven principles of Christian ethics that are relevant for the Indonesian context, namely: love, mercy, truth, justice, loyalty, integrity, and service. Also explains several examples of the application of Christian ethical principles in several fields such as health, education, environment, and anti-corruption. The conclusion of the discussion states that Christian ethical principles can contribute to the transformation of public policy and services in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Migani tribal community, Papua is an area that needs to be reached by the Gospel. This research is to answer how the Gospel can be fully accepted and accepted by the Migani tribe in Papua with the discipleship method that is applied in everyday life. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that an understanding of Peagabega figures, Migani culture and sustainable discipleship are things that can be done in introducing the gospel. Thus the evangelist can enter according to the cultural context of the Migani tribe. Masyarakat suku Migani, Papua merupakan daerah yang perlu dijangkau Injil.  Penelitian ini untuk menjawab bagaimana agar Injil dapat masuk dan diterima secara sepenuhnya oleh suku Migani di Papua dengan metode pemuridan yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman terhadap tokoh Peagabega, kebudayaan Suku Migani dan pemudridan yang berkelanjutan merupakan hal-hal yang bisa dilakukan dalam memperkanalkan Injil. Dengan demikian pengabar Injil dapat masuk sesuai konteks budaya suku Migani.

Abstract

Abstract The Christian view of leadership which emphasizes age and gender has become a problem in church organization. Because at this time, leadership needs to emphasize the competencies possessed by a leader. Young people also need to be given the opportunity to be a space for them to innovate in every decision made in church organization. When young people are included and involved there will be rapid growth. Like what the Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:12 what Paul did to Timothy provides a picture for church leaders today to give trust to young people. This study uses a literature study approach. So that it takes out every existing fact to bring out the best essence. In the end, it can be proven that the role model of young people is one of the most important competencies possessed by young leaders.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency that utilizes blockchain technology to do investments. This study aims to provide answers for Christians on how to respond to Cryptocurrency investments from the perspective of Christian ethics. The research method used is through the library research approach. This study indicates that cryptocurrency itself as a new technology is an agnostic technology; rather, it is the attitude and motivation of a person that determines the suitability of cryptocurrency in a particular situation. Thus, pastors and believers can invest in cryptocurrency, depending on their motivations.

Abstract

Pastoral counseling plays a vital role in guiding and nurturing the congregation, employing a holistic approach grounded in Christian faith principles. Pastoral counseling not only serves as an advisor but also as a spiritual companion capable of addressing the emotional and behavioral aspects of the counselee. Balancing attention to both aspects, in line with pastoral theology, provides a solid foundation for a ministry committed to spiritual recovery, growth, and transformation. The use of the Bible as the primary guide requires wisdom in applying God's Word according to its context and meaning. Balancing present-day considerations with those of the past, and understanding sin, repentance, and forgiveness as fundamental to pastoral theology, form the basis of an effective counseling approach. The stages of counseling, the role of the counselor as a representative of Christ, and the wise use of the Bible create a solid foundation for effective counseling. This study employs a qualitative phenomenological method with literature review. Data analysis includes management, reading, description, interpretation, and representation. An inductive approach is used to formulate conclusions and predictions, supporting exploration in the context of pastoral counseling. Integrating psychology, humanities, and deep theology helps counselors understand the complexity of counselees holistically. Through critical evaluation and adaptation of the approach, pastoral counseling has a positive and sustainable impact on the spiritual growth and well-being of the congregation members. Pastoral counseling illustrates the church's commitment to guiding the congregation toward deep spiritual growth and well-being.
