Abstract

The study was conducted at the manufacturing company of the aluminum casting that produces hoist cyilinder and power take off. The Company was not yet fully implemented the quality management system ISO 9001:2008. Based on an initial gap analysis, it is known that the company has only implemented the quality management system requirements by 37.21%. The purpose of this study is to fill the existing gap. The research results showed that 60.46% the quality management system requirements have been met.

Abstract

PT X produces nails and wires. In the production department, especially in nailproduction, the machineries were aged up to 20 years old. Thus the company need to re-invest new machines. There are eight types of nails to produce. The investment calculation andanalysis were conducted using payback period, NPV, and profitability index. There are two alternative for the investment. The analysis results suggested that the company shall invest a total of 28 machines with a total investment of Rp 84.000.000.000,-, or 29 machines with a total investment of Rp 87.000.000.000,-. The first alternative investment is expected to be back within 6 years and 3 months. The second alternative is expected to be back within 6 years and 4 months. This two alternative investment has a positive NPV cost above zero, as well as the probability index is obtained above 1.

Abstract

Pemberian ASI eksklusif merupakan tanggung jawab ibu setelah melahirkan. Suatu kendala tersendiri bagi sang ibu jika selama proses menyusui jika tempat tidak sesuai dengan kondisi fisiologi tubuh. Sikap tubuh saat menyusui yang tidak fisiologis akan menyebabkan timbulnya keluhan bagi sang ibu. Keluhan yang muncul antara lain cepat lelah, sakit atau nyeri pada otot tertentu, dan kondisi kurang nyaman pada tubuh saat menyusui. Disamping itu, bagi ibu yang bekerja dan menyusui sepulang kerja akan mempengaruhi motivasinya dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif dalam enam bulan pertama sejak kelahiran bayi. Untuk mengatasi cepat lelah karena sikap dan posisi menyusui yang tidak fisiologis dilakukan penelitian dengan cara meyesuaikan sarana kerja/kursi termpat menyusui dengan antropometri sang ibu tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan group within treatment (sama subyek). Tempat penelitian di Klinik Bersalin “CB” Kabupaten Badung, Bali. Jumlah sampel 12 ibu menyusui. . Keluhan otot skeletal ibu menyusui diprediksi dengan kuesioner Nordic Body Map, dan motivasi pemberian ASI eksklusif diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner motivasi dengan 5 skala Liket. Data di analisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan perlakuan, data dianalisis menggunakan uji t-pair. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ada perbedaan yang siginifikan pada keluhan otot skeletal dan motivasi pemberian ASI Eksklusif antara perlakuan 1 (menggunakan kursi lama) dengan perlakuan 2 (menggunakan kursi perbaikan). Terjadi penurunan keluhan otot skeletal sebesar 32,4% dan peningkatan motivasi pemberian ASI Eksklusif sebesar 29,7%. Disimpulkan bahwa desain kursi ergonomis ibu menyusui menurunkan keluhan otot dan meningkatkan motivasi pemberian asi eksklusif. Untuk itu disarankan kepada ibu menyusui agar menggunakan kursi ergonomis dalam meberikan ASI Eksklusif dan bagi pemerintah agar menyediakan kursi ergonomis pada fasilitas publik ruag ibu menyusui baik di terminal, bandara, maupun fasilitas publik yang lain.

Abstract

Tantri Phala is a trading company engaged in the business of trading traditional clothing. The business activities in Tantri Phala, apart from selling merchandise, are also making or producing their own items such as clothes, cloth and shade. Tantri Phala is managed directly by the owner, involving several employees such as employees at the cashier, production and marketing departments. The problems in this Tantri Phala are difficulties in managing the workforce, lack of understanding of accounting, lack of adequate tools for recording. From these problems, the time of service with the Community Partnership Program provides solutions in the form of providing labor management counseling, providing accounting counseling, providing counseling about basic prices. To carry out the implementation, starting from program implementation, evaluation, and partner participation. The targeted outputs are articles published in accredited national journals Abdi Journal: Journal of Community Service and Empowerment Padang State University, print or digital media, intellectual property rights, videos published on websites and books.

Abstract

PT. Temprina Media Graphic is a company engaged in the field of packaging and printing. There have been several work accidents at the production site of PT. Graphic Media Temprina. This final project was carried out using direct observation methods and interviews with factory heads, local staff and workers. The purpose of this final project is to reduce the number of work accidents at PT. Graphic Media Temprina. From the results of the analysis, 9 activities have been found in the production process that have high and medium risk analysis values and can cause work accidents. 28 risk control proposals have been proposed which are dominated by administrative controls and Personal Protective Equipment. The proposal given by the author has been approved by the company. It is predicted that some of the risk ratings of the activities will be low, but some are still the same.

Abstract

Company PT. X still implemented a work from office (WFO) work system during the Covid-19 pandemic, which made employees anxious and afraid when working. Therefore the company establishes policies and runs programs related to the control and prevention of Covid-19. Rules made and implemented by companies during the Covid-19 pandemic associated with the handling and preventing of the Covid-19 virus will continue until the post-Covid-19 period. The purpose of this study is to see whether the rules made by companies to increase employee engagement are still relevant to the post-Covid-19 pandemic situation. The research was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling Method and with the help of SmartPLS software. Based on the results of the research that has been done, occupational safety and health have a significant effect on employee engagement. In contrast, terms have a substantial effect on burnout, and burnout significantly affects employee engagement. In conclusion, the company's program is quite effective and impacts employee engagement.

Abstract

This study focuses on managing risks in the Research & Development Department. Through the utilization of interview and brainstorming techniques, a total of 37 identified risks stemming from 14 specific work activities.The Risk Management Form was employed as a tool to facilitate the risk identification process. Out of the 37 risks, four risks were given priority for the implementation of risk control measures. The prioritization was based on the severity level of the risks and the time constraints associated with conducting further research. The risks selected for risk control design were as follows: the risk of sketches and specification calculations not aligning with customer demands, the risk of inaccessible reference image files, the risk of revising drawings, and the risk of drawing delays. The proposed risk control designs aimed to mitigate the severity of these risks and consisted of the creation of a drawing aimed to mitigate the severity of these risks and consisted of the creation of a drawing request form, standardization of folder and file naming conventions for drawing references, and the establishment of standard operating procedures (SOP).

Abstract

Karoseri is a car body company that produces vehicle bodies and frames. The problem faced by the company is that the inventory of raw materials in the warehouse is often out of stock. These problems can cause delays in production schedules and overtime for workers. The existence of this problem is caused by 2 parties, between suppliers and karoseri. From the supplier's side, the lead time for goods to arrive at the warehouse is uncertain. From karoseri’s side, the amount of safety stock has not been updated and there is no order planning method or system used. The need for raw materials at karoseri is also variable or probabilistic, so the proposed solution is to use the continuous review and periodic review methods. The results of the calculation and simulation of the raw material requirements per day, it is found that the continuous review method gets the cheapest total inventory cost. After finding the best method for ordering raw materials, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is made regarding the planning of ordering raw materials so that the parties involved can understand and understand how to use the continuous review method calculation for ordering raw materials.

Abstract

Logistic Company is a freight forwarding service company that operates on bothdomestic and international scales. The services they offered include transportation by road and sea, which internally refers to as road-sea-road. In the shipping process, there are some challenges, one of them is the occurence of claims. Claims happen when the goods arrive at the recipient in damage or insufficient condition. In order to reduce the occurence of claims, the company needs to identify the causes of the claims. Method that is used in this research is the DMAIC method. Causes of claims are identified using 5 whys analysis and one of the seven tools methods, namely fishbone diagram. After being identified using 5 whys analysis  and the fishbone diagram, it was found that most of the occurrences of claims are caused by human factors and the stuffing system. Therefore, a suggestion is found by creating a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) that is expected to assist the company to minimize claims.

Abstract

PT. "X" is an industrial gas company based in Indonesia. PT. "X" operatesfour business lines, including industrial gas production, industrial gas sales, industrial equipment sales, and industrial equipment installation services. The company faces an issue where employees feel that certain tasks or work methods could be simplified to create a more efficient workflow. The problem related to work methods or job descriptions can be addressed by applying job crafting techniques. The goal of job crafting is to modify aspects and perceptions of a job to align it with the needs and preferences of the employees themselves. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify better and more efficient work methods that can unleash the best potential of the operators/employees. The job crafting design in this study is developed through interviews. The result obtained is the transition from a manual data reporting method for production to a digital method.
