Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi strategi nabi Muhammad dalam membangun komitmen organisasi pada anggota, khususnya, pada kaum Anshar. Hal ini berguna bagi organisasi dakwah dalam membangun komitmen anggotanya. Kaum Anshar adalah pengikut nabi di Madinah, yang dikenal memiliki komitmen tinggi dalam Islam. Nabi Muhammad memiliki serangkaian upaya dalam membangun komitmen kaum Anshar sehingga bisa memiliki komitmen yang tinggi untuk mengikatkan diri pada jama’ah atau persaudaraan Islam. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori membangun komitmen organisasi karya Dessler serta karya McShane dan Von Glinow. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka. Hasil studi ini menunjukan bahwa strategi utama nabi dalam membangun komitmen organisasi adalah dengan menginternalisasi visi organisasi. Sedangkan pada lapisan berikutnya strategi yang dilaksanakan meliputi: kepemimpinan keteladanan, komunikasi 2 arah, budaya persaudaraan, keterlibatan anggota serta memberikan keadilan dan jaminan keamanan pada anggota organisasi. Strategi ini memungkinkan diadopsi bagi organisasi dakwah dalam membangun komitmen organisasi pada anggota.

Abstract

FIGURATIVE DA’WA MESSAGE TO IMPROVE ISLAMIC VALUES INTERNALIZATION OF MILLENIAL GENERATION. The development of da'wah in the 4.0 era gave rise to many millennial preachers who preach via YouTube. Millennial da'wah through YouTube can attract the millennial generation’s interest in studying Islam. This is shown by the number ofuTube video viewers and the positive comments given in the comment column. This article examines how millennial preachers convey messages through the media on YouTube so that they can attract the millennial generation to study Islam. The method used in this study is a literature study through h comparison of lecture videos by 4 millennial preachers. This study shows that millennial preachers have similarities in packaging da'wah messages, namely using a lot of da'wah messages that are figurative in nature, especially figurative language in the form of comparisons. The comparative figure of speech in da'wah messages has a role including: facilitating the millennial generation to understand da'wah material, providing a touch of feeling, not being patronizing so that it is easier for the millennial generation to accept, and facilitating the internalization of values ​​in the millennial generation in da'wah activities via YouTube.

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan strategi yang dilaksanakan oleh nabi Muhammad dalam membangun budaya persaudaraan antara Aus dan khazraj maupun antara kaum Anshar dan Muhajirin di Madinah. Budaya persaudaraan merupakan budaya yang penting dikembangkan organisasi dakwah, sebagaimana diperintahkan dalam QS. Ali Imran: 103. Dalam membangun budaya persaudaraan tidaklah mudah, tetapi nabi Muhammad berhasil dalam membangun budaya tersebut di Madinah. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif, kualitatif, studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nabi menerapkan mekanisme primer dan sekunder dalam membentuk budaya persaudaraan di Madinah, melalui: membuat aturan untuk mempersaudarakan Muhajirin dan Anshar, membangun masjid untuk aktifitas bersama, mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai dan keyakinan pentingnya budaya persaudaraan, dan kepemimpinan keteladanan. Selain itu, nabi juga mengantisipasi rusaknya budaya persaudaraan dari eksternal dengan membuat piagam Madinah. Hasil kajian ini bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi organisasi dakwah dalam mengembangkan budaya persaudaraan, khususnya dalam konteks beragamnya karakter anggota dan potensi hambatan dalam Pembangunan budaya dari eksternal organisasi.

Abstract

This study examines the empowerment communication strategy used by Oxfam in building gender equality awareness in the communities of West and East Nusa Tenggara. The approach used has proven successful in building gender awareness in both women and men, thus facilitating the efforts to empower women's economy. This study uses a literature review method, with a rational descriptive analysis. Oxfam's communication strategy has several target communicants, including women, men, and community leaders. The communication strategy for each target communicant is different depending on the role of each party in empowerment, the problems faced related to gender equality, and the goals that Oxfam wants to achieve. In general, the messages conveyed to build gender equality awareness are related to (1) raising awareness of forms of gender injustice and violence problems in the community, (2) the impact and prospects of gender equality awareness, (3) and encouragement to be actively involved in efforts to build gender equality in the community.

Abstract

Considering that the role of organizational commitment is very important for da'wah organizations to develop and be sustainable, efforts are needed to build commitment in the human resources of da'wah organizations. However, so far academic studies on the aspect of building organizational commitment in missionary organizations are still very limited. Previous literature has investigated factors in building organizational commitment to industry. The aim of this study is to explore the strategies of missionary organizations in building member commitment, through a literature review of the strategies used by the prophet Muhammad in building organizational commitment to human resources, especially during the prophet's preaching in Mecca. The method used is a qualitative library study. The results of the study concluded that the Prophet Muhammad's efforts to build the commitment of member organizations in Mecca were in several ways, namely: internalizing the vision of monotheism, consistent and sustainable awareness-based development, creating a positive climate based on human values, and leading by example. The Prophet Muhammad's strategy in building organizational commitment in Mecca can be an inspiration for da'wah organizations in the pioneering phase.
