Abstract

ABSTRACTRewetting program especially canal blocking (tabat) carried out by the Peat Restoration Agency (BRG) in 2017 aspart of efforts to control forest and land fires that often hit peatlands including in Kalawa Village in 2014 and 2015. Theresults of this study indicate that 7 indicators from 3 research variables for the level of land owners participation in thegroup receiving the rewetting program shows 14.28% has very strong/very high correlation (design making/constructionmodel), 42.86% has strong/high correlation (frequency of socialization, numbers of attendance, socialization method),42.86% has strong enough/high enough correlation (distance of land, placement of position/location, numbers of canalblocking). Whereas for 9 indicators from 4 research variables, the level of land owners participation in the group rejectingthe rewetting program shows 22.22% has strong/high correlation (age, land area), and 77.78% has quite strong/highenough correlation (level of education, distance of land, frequency of socialization, number of attendance, method ofsocialization, construction design/modeling, placement of position/location of canal blocking). The level of land ownersparticipation in the BRG rewetting program through canal blocking (tabat) was dominated by the medium category (36.0%)for the group receiving the program and the low category (48.0%) for the group rejecting the program. The relatively similarcharacteristics of the two community groups and have a major influence on the level of land owners participation aresocialization efforts (frequency of socialization, numbers of attendance, socialization method), and project implementation(design making/construction model, placement of positions/location of canal blocking).Keywords: participation; land owners; canal blocking (tabat); handel; peatland.

Abstract

Dunia fungi atau jamur merupakan salah satu kekayaan hayati yang juga merupakan hasil hutan non kayu yang kini memberi peluang ekonomi yang berarti bagi masyarakat. Jamur memiliki keunikan yang memperkaya keanekaragaman jenis makhluk hidup dalam dunia tumbuhan. Sifatnya yang tidak berklorofil menjadikannya tergantung kepada makhluk hidup lain, baik yang masih hidup maupun yang sudah mati. Jamur juga memegang peranan penting dalam proses alam yaitu menjadi salah satu dekomposer unsur-unsur alam, beberapa jamur tertentu telah dimanfaatkan oleh manusia, baik sebagai bahan makanan maupun bahan obat.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis jamur dari kelas Basidiomycetes di Stasiun Riset Punggualas Taman Nasional Sebangau Kabupaten Katingan Kalimantan Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi jamur ini yaitu metode sensus pada 8 jalur dalam plot penelitian berukuran 150m x 200m. Analisa data dengan menghitung indeks keragaman jenis, indeks dominansi dan indeks kemerataan. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap karakteristik, substrat dari masing-masing jamur serta data iklim di Stasiun Riset Punggualas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 28 jenis jamur dari 8 famili dari kelas Basidiomycetes. Jamur yang dominan adalah jenis Ganoderma sp sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa jenis jamur Ganoderma sp sebagai penciri dari hutan rawa gambut di Stasiun Riset Punggualas. Jamur yang termasuk jenis yang dapat dikonsumsi adalah jamur kuping (Auricularia sp), jamur tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus), jelly fungi (Tremellaenchephala), kulat enyak (Oedemansiella sp) serta yang termasuk jamur obat adalah Ganoderma lucidum.

Abstract

ABSTRACK Nyaru Menteng arboretum is the genetics resources area that located at the Palangka Raya District, its wide namely 65.2 ha. In this area, there are many flora and fauna, including kelasi (Presbytis rubicunda), a species in danger that protected by law. At the Nyaru Menteng arboretum area, there are also the Re- introduction of Orang Utan Centre that managed by BOS. This research was aimed to know the kelasi population at the Nyaru Menteng arboretum area and to record some herbs and plants to be their foods. The research was conducted at the Nyaru Menteng arboretum area at 2017 using survey method to calculate the population of kelasi number and wide of their habitat. Research result showed that there one kelasi at January 2017 at three kelasi at April 2017 namely kelasi of male, female and young. Analysis result showed that the density of kelasi was 0.06 species ha-1. There is decrement kelasi at 2017 than 2007. Ten years ago, kelasi was detectabled namely 15 species with the density was 0.23 species ha-1. Some herbs and plants which to be food of kelasi i.e. jambuan (Syzgium cerinum), saga (Adenathera microsperma), singkong (Manihot utilisima), karet (Havea brasiliensis), nenas (Ananas comosus), kelakai (Stenochlaena ralustris), buah nangka (Artocarpus integra) and other fruits. Abstract

Nyaru Menteng Arboretum is one of Conservation area in Palangka Raya for biodiversity protection width 65,2ha and in that area have established an Orang Utan Reintroduction Center from Borneo Orangutan Save Foundation (BOSF). The aims of this research are to estimated the population density of Kelasi in this area and to know many kinds of Kelasi food and the part of trees that Kelasi put to eat. The result of this research that has found one species (young class) in January 2017, then we can find 3 species again in April 2017 there is one male, one female, and one young kelasi. Population density rate of Kelasiof 2017 is 0,06 species/ha that meaning is population density of Kelasi have a degraded experience if comparing with the same population density data on 2007 that found 15 species in the area (in 2 group)with 0,23 species/ha. Food sort of Kelasi is juvenile of : Jambu-jambu (Syzgium cerinum), Saga (Adenathera microsperma), cassava (Manihot utilisima), rubber (Hevea brasiliensis), pineapple (Ananas comosus), Kelakai (Stenochlaena ralustris) dan jackfruit (Artocarpus integra), other fruits and residue of orangutan food in Reintroduction area lie pineapple and papaya.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of fruit plants (generally, the environment/habitat and plant morphology fruit) and to determine the content of active compounds (secondary metabolites) plant worth exotic fruit contained in North Barito. This study used survey methods and data analysis was done descriptively qualitative and quantitative in tabular form and image. The results of the study characteristics and phytochemical test five (5) pieces of exotic plant species in North Barito regency from habitat plant fruit trees and lianas, with the composition of single and compound leaves, plant height of 10-15 meters, a lowland forest habitat. Keledang (Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb) and Dangu (Leukconitis corpidae) which has a white sap. The test results showed the phytochemical content of secondary metabolites consisting of tannin (polyphenols), alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, steroids and terpenoid scattered on the rind, pulp, and seeds.

Abstract

Peatland fires in 2015 in Central Kalimantan were biomass fires on peatlands that burned with an area of ​​196,987 hectares and one of them was in Kahayan Hilir District. this research aims to determine the potential distribution of surface biomass and identify the types of vegetation. this research uses Landsat 8 OLI imagery in 2020 as well as land cover classification and calculation of the Vegetation Index (NDVI) which is then combined with an overlay to create a map of the distribution of land cover types based on their density which is then used for field checks and surface biomass calculations using the allometric formula on each type of land cover. Based on the research conducted, there are 8 types of land cover that can be identified and the percentage of total biomass, namely high density forest (1,419,013,40 tons or 62.58%), high density shrubs and shrubs (770,449.68 tons or 33.98%). ), High density settlements (44.169.32 tons or 1.95 %), high density oil palm plantations (21,518.77 tons or 0.95 %), High density open land (8,025.37 tons or 0.35%), plantations medium density palm oil (2,690.09 tons or 0.12%), medium density open land (1,545.81 tons or 0.07%) and low density open land (79.65 tons or 0.004%). The types of tree-level vegetation found in high-density forests are laban (Vitex pinnata), mahang damar (Macaranga triloba), and bungur (Lagerstroemia speciosa), while on understorey grass species rija-rija (Scleria sumatrensis) are found

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mencoba membandingkan karya dua pengarang yang berbeda, khususnya puisi William Butler Yeats dan karya Chairil Anwar. Memang, terungkap bahwa W.B. Yeats bukanlah seorang penulis dari Amerika Serikat, tetapi tulisan-tulisannya sangat dikenal luas di seluruh dunia, terutama di kalangan masyarakat yang telah mengalami campur tangan pihak ketiga. Akibatnya, orang-orang di Amerika Serikat sangat menghormati karyanya. Sudah menjadi rahasia umum bahwa Amerika Serikat adalah rumah bagi sejumlah populasi yang terpinggirkan, yang paling terkenal adalah orang Afrika-Amerika dan penduduk asli Amerika. Melalui pembacaan puisi Chairil Anwar dan Yeats, seseorang dapat memahami kekhasan karya-karya mereka yang khas. bahwa ada kesejajaran yang harus dilihat antara karya kedua penyair tersebut. Kedua penulis dianggap kontemporer tidak hanya untuk masa di mana mereka hidup, tetapi juga karena ide-ide yang diungkapkan dalam tulisan mereka mencerminkan ambisi nasional para penulis.

Abstract

Decomposition of organic matter in the soil is closely related to the presence of soil macrofauna. The better the process of organic matter decomposition, the better the physical and chemical properties of the soil, which, of course, will support soil fertility in a land area. This research aims to determine the presence of soil macrofauna under Jelutung Rawa trees (Dyera polyphylla Miq) in the peatland of the Seedling Garden (KBS) at Palangka Raya University. The research method was conducted by sampling soil macrofauna through Hand sorting method at 25 observation points and Pittfall Trap method at 20 observation points. The observed and identified soil macrofauna were examined in the laboratory using identification guidelines and literature on macrofauna types. The data were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener species diversity index formula, the Margalef species richness index, the Pielou evenness index, and the calculation of species presence frequency. The research findings revealed 24 species, 23 genera, 20 families, 7 classes, and 3 phyla of soil macrofauna, with a total of 3,579 individuals. The values of the species diversity index (H'), species richness index (Dmg), evenness index (E), and the frequency of soil macrofauna presence (F) at KBS, Palangka Raya University were as follows: H' = 2.303325269 (moderate category), Dmg = 2.810760521 (moderate category), E = 0.724759677 (fairly even category), and frequency of presence, F = 80% - 100%.
