Abstract

Complex problems that teenagers usually face as they grow physically and mentally. The environment really determines the form of problems and how they deal with those problems. This research aims to get an overview of how the rural environment shapes religious problems among Muslim teenagers in Nanga Badau District, Kapuas Hulu. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Badau, where the teenagers studied. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through interviews and documentation. The results of the research illustrate that: There are 3 (three) religious problems among Muslim teenagers at SMA Negeri 1 Badau, namely, the problem of difficulty in practicing religion, the problem of weakness of faith, and the problem of implementing religious teachings. The socio-religious environment and information intake are the causes of this problem. Global da'wah through media channels is not yet familiar to students in this rural area.

Abstract

Diskusi tentang strategi dan metode mengajar yang dikembangkan oleh kelompok masyarakat lokal merupakan pembahasan penting sekaligus menarik. Jauh sebelum berkembangnya pendidikan formal, masyarakat telah mengenalproses belajar mengajar kemudian mengembangkan strategi dan metode mengajar berdasarkan hasil pengalaman dan pengamatannya dari geresi ke generasi. Artinya, strategi dan metode mengajar tersebut telah teruji oleh waktu. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini bertujuan ini menggambarkan strategi dan metode mengajar guru ngaji kampung di Desa Rantau Panjang, Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan motede deskriptif. Data-data diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap proses belajar membaca Al-Qur’an dan wawancara mendalam kepada lima guru ngaji. Hasil penelitian menampilkan beberapa aspek penting dalam proses pembelajaran guru ngaji kampung di Desa Rantau Panjang: Pertama, strategi belajar membaca Al-Qur’an yang diterapkan oleh guru ngaji mengacu kepada masalah dan penyebab terjadinya masalah belajar anak, yakni: strategi pengaturan metode pembelajaran, berkolaborasi dengan orang tua dalam memantau dan memfasilitasi anak agar berkenan belajar, dan memanjatkan doa untuk keberhasilan murid. Kedua, metode pembelajaran yang dipakai oleh guru ngaji di Desa Rantau panjang, yakni: punishmen, pemberian contoh, perumpamaan, ceramah, games, dan pengclusteran.

Abstract

Sexual orientation deviation is a problem that undermines moral values, ethics, noble principles, and goes against the principles of any religion. Therefore, the existence of individuals with same-sex preferences is not widely accepted by a significant portion of the Indonesian society. However, the phenomenon of sexual orientation deviation has spread everywhere, including in dormitories, correctional institutions (prisons), and even within the environment of Islamic boarding schools. The fact that must be acknowledged is that religious-based educational institutions or Islamic boarding schools, where the functions of education and religion converge into a single environment, can potentially trigger students to experience sexual orientation deviations. This issue should not be taken lightly, let alone ignored. Therefore, students require assistance with a suitable, structured method that has the capacity to prevent sexual deviations from occurring. This research has the objectives to elucidate how the al-Mujadalah approach can prevent deviations in sexual orientation among students in Islamic boarding schools. This research adopts a qualitative research design in the form of a literature review. Data analysis results were verified through focus group discussions. The research outcomes indicate that (1) factors contributing to the occurrence of homosexual behavior in Islamic boarding schools are triggered by the environment, namely, the restriction of interaction between male and female students, the situations surrounding the students that lead them to engage in various activities together, such as researching, eating, sleeping, storytelling, and even bathing. These habits are passed down by senior students who have been influenced. (2) The al-Mujadalah approach can be understood as an exchange of ideas through evidence-based arguments or reasoning between counselors and counselees, aimed at resolving the issues faced by the counselees. Guidance provided to adolescent students should be presented with effective strategies and high-quality argumentation patterns, including claims, grounds, warrants, backing, modal qualifiers, and rebuttals.Penyimpangan orientasi seksual merupakan masalah yang merongrong nilai-nilai moral, etika, prinsip luhur, dan bertentangan dengan prinsip-prinsip agama mana pun. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan individu dengan preferensi sesama jenis tidak diterima secara luas oleh sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia. Namun, fenomena penyimpangan orientasi seksual telah menyebar di berbagai tempat, termasuk asrama, lembaga pemasyarakatan (penjara), bahkan di lingkungan pesantren. Fakta yang harus diakui adalah bahwa lembaga pendidikan berbasis agama atau pesantren, di mana fungsi pendidikan dan agama berpadu dalam satu lingkungan, berpotensi memicu santri mengalami penyimpangan orientasi seksual. Masalah ini tidak boleh dianggap remeh, apalagi diabaikan. Oleh karena itu, santri memerlukan pendampingan dengan metode yang sesuai dan terstruktur untuk mencegah terjadinya penyimpangan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pendekatan al-Mujadalah dapat mencegah penyimpangan orientasi seksual di kalangan santri pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif berbentuk kajian pustaka. Hasil analisis data diverifikasi melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (focus group discussion). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Faktor-faktor penyebab perilaku homoseksual di pesantren dipicu oleh lingkungan, yaitu pembatasan interaksi antara santri laki-laki dan perempuan, serta situasi di mana santri terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas bersama, seperti belajar, makan, tidur, bercerita, hingga mandi. Kebiasaan ini diturunkan oleh santri senior yang telah terpengaruh. (2) Pendekatan al-Mujadalah dipahami sebagai pertukaran ide melalui argumen atau penalaran berbasis bukti antara konselor dan konseli, yang bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi konseli. Bimbingan yang diberikan kepada santri remaja harus disajikan dengan strategi efektif dan pola argumentasi berkualitas tinggi, termasuk klaim, landasan, jaminan, dukungan, penguat modal, dan sanggahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menginvestigasi makna dan nilai spiritualitas dalam permainan tradisional di Desa Punggur Kecil, Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, di mana pengambilan data dilakukan dengan perantaraan wawancara mendalam bersama partisipan, juga dilakukan dengan observasi tradisi yang berkaitan dengan permainan tradisional di Desa Punggur Kecil yang merupakan desa tradisional. Berdasarkan analisis, kami telah memaknai nilai-nilai spiritualitas yang ditanamkan oleh orang-orang dewasa kepada anak, yaitu: pertama, adanya hubungan sebab-akibat antara tindakan sekarang dan masa depan yang dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan yang tidak dapat dikendalikan oleh manusia. Misalnya, dalam permainan buah lima yang apabila dilakukan dalam rumah diyakini akan mengundang kematian. Kedua, manusia memiliki ruang dan waktu untuk beraktivitas, tetapi manusia tidak boleh mengabaikan keberadaan makhluk halus yang terkadang pada waktu-waktu tertentu dapat mengganggu kenyamanan manusia. Contohnya, permainan tapok pipit, tapok kaleng, dan tapok sendal yang apabila dimainkan menjelang shalat Magrib dan situasi hujan panas, dikuatirkan anak-anak akan disembunyikan oleh hantu atau setan.  Hal-hal demikian tertanam dalam diri anak-anak sebagai identitas spiritualitas kelompok dan selanjutnya menjadi identitas pribadi yang mempengaruhi tindakan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Kami juga memaknai epistimologi spiritualitas dalam permainan-permainan tradisional di atas sebagai konstruksi karakter anak, yaitu nilai kebersamaan, nilai kejujuran, dan nilai kedisiplinan.

Abstract

This article aims to review the value and benefits of the Keleleng tradition in the Punggur Kecil Village community's farming system, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. This study uses an axiological approach to reveal how existing values ​​can regulate the bonding of society to one another so as to create brotherhood. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a literature review combination reinforced by observations of field life and a series of interviews. Data were collected through literature collection and field observations. The data obtained are described accordingly. The activities carried out in the data analysis process, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there are local wisdom values ​​contained in the tradition of keleleng in Punggur Kecil Village, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province, namely: the value of discipline and responsibility, the value of cooperation, the value of kinship, the value of caring, the value of generosity, the value of leadership. These seven values ​​become ethics and aesthetics formed in the social system so that there is a closeness between the local people.

Abstract

The researcher wanted to see how the Malay identity devices were identified as Muslims by the people of the rural areas of West Kalimantan. Data was collected in the village of Sri Wangi, a remote village in West Kalimantan or western Borneo, precisely in Kapuas Hulu District, 15 hours away by public transportation from the city of Pontianak. Data was collected through observations in the field of people's lives and interviews with community leaders and some residents with Malay identities who were lineages not Malays. From the results of the interview, information was obtained that the identity of the community's Malayness was obtained from its Islamic identity. They introduced themselves as Malays and were known to the public as Malays. The Malay language used by the community is very much different from Pontianak Malay. The Malays in Sri Wangi village still carry out what their ancestors did and believe that every ritual that is not carried out has consequences.
