<![CDATA[Ketika seorang geoteknik melakukan klasifikasi tanah, beberapa parameter tanah dibutuhkanuntuk sampai pada suatu informasi mengenai jenis tanah tersebut. Parameterparameterini didapat dari beberapa uji laboratorium yang berada pada kelompok ujiindeks properties. Masalah yang timbul adalah literatur-literatur berupa tabel-tabel danrumus-rumus yang digunakan agak banyak, sehingga kadang pengambilan keputusanmengenai suatu jenis tanah cukup memakan waktu. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlahsuatu sistem pakar untuk mengklasifikasikan jenis tanah berdasarkan parameterparametertanah yang dibutuhkan. Sistem ini mengumpulkan informasi-informasi darigeoteknik yang akan membantu mempercepat proses pengklasifikasian tanah. Oleh karenaitu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan Aplikasi Klasifikasi Tanah SistemUSCS (United Soiled Classification System) ini, dapat dipergunakan untuk mengindentifikasikanjenis-jenis tanah. Metode yang dipergunakan dengan memasukkan inputberupa parameter-parameter tanah yang datanya diperoleh dari hasil penyelidikan tanahdi laboratorium. Dalam aplikasi ini menggunakan tujuh (7) parameter input tanah.Produk yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan aplikasi ini akan mempercepat proses pengidentifikasianjenis tanah.AbstractThe comfortness and smoothness on the road have become priority to most drivers. Oneof the factors that reduce the comfortness and smoothness is the damage on the roadsurface. Therefore the renovation of the road is needed. Another factor that may appear isthe limited fund from the government. This bring into the problem that not all the roadcan be renovated. The main problem is that the renovation is not conducted into the theroad that really needs renovation, To overcome this problem, it needs right a decision todetermine which road needs renovation Instead of knowing the value of the damage,another factor that holds a very important role in determining the renovation priority isthe Surface Index. So that this research aims at determining the the roadwork prioritytowrad tempered condition of asphalt-pavement based on surface-index values. Thissurvey is done to get the data on the road damage. The data gained is then to be analyzedbased on the Surface Index (IP). The product of this reserach is the detremination of theroad that will be renovated.]]>
