Abstract

Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is a cardiovascular disease that become a major cause of death until 2020. Standard strategy which summarize the treatment of therapy known as clinical pathways is required caused by the high rate of morbidity and mortality of patients with ACS. This study aimed to determine the relationship of the clinical pathways implementation based on the clinical pathway assessment sheet to the length of stay and number of fatal events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). This study was a cross sectional study in patients with ACS (NSTEMI/STEMI) treated in ICCU Hospital Dr. Sardjito. The materials used were ACS patient medical records. The tool used is a data collection sheet and clinical pathways assessment sheet. Making retrospective (February - July 2014) and prospective (August - September 2014). The research subjects are 102 patients were divided into 2 groups (49 patients without variation and 53 patients with variations) based on clinical pathways assessment sheet. Variations obtained from the discrepancy amounted to one/more of the therapeutic management of clinical pathways assessment sheet in the first 24 hours of treatment in ICCU. Data analysis includes analysis of long hospitalization relationship to the implementation of clinical pathways in the two groups using the chi-square test and analysis of the relationship number of fatal events (death, heart failure, stroke, and reinfarction) on the implementation of clinical pathways in the two groups using Fisher's exact test. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of clinical pathways based on clinical pathways assessment sheet there is no relationship to the length of stay and the number of fatal events in patients with ACS (p>0,05) in ICCU Dr. Sardjito due ACS assessment sheet clinical pathways are less informative and general management of therapy within the first 24 hours in accordance with the patient's clinical pathways for ACS.

Abstract

Kosmetika adalah sediaan yang digunakan pada permukaan luar tubuh dengan maksud untuk mengubah penampilan, mewangikan, membersihkan, atau memelihara tubuh pada kondisi baik. Saat ini masyarakat sangat tertarik menggunakan kosmetik krim pemutih wajah yang dijual secara online dan sering ditemukan kandungan dalam krim pemutih adalah Hidrokuinon. Penggunaan hidrokuinon dalam krim pemutih telah dibatasi karena efek samping yang merugikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar hidrokuinon pada krim pemutih yang beredar secara online. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif pada 3 sampel krim pemutih yang diduga mengandung hidrokuinon. Hasil positif uji kualitatif dilanjutkan dengan analisis menggunakan KLT (Kromatografi Lapis Tipis) dengan fase gerak metanol:kloroform (50:50) dan n-heksana:aseton (3:2), serta analisis Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengujian KLT pada sampel didapatkan nilai Rf masing-masing 0,8 dan 0,4. Penetapan panjang gelombang maksimal pada 294 nm diperoleh hasil kadar rata-rata kandungan hidrokuinon dari sampel 1 sebesar 2,020µg/mL, sampel kedua sebesar 16,244 µg/mL, sedangkan pada sampel ketiga sebesar 9,387µg/mL Kesimpulan kadar hidrokuinon yang ada di dalam masing-masing sampel krim adalah 2,020 µg/mL, 16,244µg/mL, 9,387µg/mL dimana kadar ini tidak sesuai dengan peraturan BPOM RI tahun 2008. Kata Kunci: hidrokuinon, krim pemutih, kromatografi lapis tipis, spektrofotometri UV-Vis.

Abstract

Bakteri Actinomyces sp. dan Lactobacillus acidophilus merupakan bakteri yang paling dominan di saluran akar gigi dan dalam rongga mulut serta sangat berperan dalam terjadinya karies gigi. Pencegahan karies gigi menggunakan obat kumur dengan zat aktif Chlorhexidine dalam jangka panjang tidak dianjurkan karena efek samping yang sangat merugikan sehingga diperlukan alternatif dari bahan alam yang berpotensi antibakteri yaitu seledri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri dan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimum (KHM) ekstrak etanol seledri pada konsentrasi 12,5%; 25%; 50%;100% terhadap bakteri Actinomyces sp dan Lactobacillus acidophilus. Ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan secara in vitro dengan metode difusi cakram disk serta membandingkan zona hambat yang terbentuk dari masing-masing perlakuan dengan kontrol positif obat kumur “Minosep”. Hasil menunjukkan ekstrak etanol seledri memiliki respon hambatan kategori kuat terhadap bakteri Actinomyces sp dan Lactobacillus acidophilus. Uji One way Anova menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dari masing-masing perlakuan yang dibuktikan dengan nilai (p=0,000). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ekstrak etanol seledri memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Actinomyces sp dan Lactobacillus acidophilus dengan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimum (KHM) masing-masing 12,5% dengan rata-rata zona hambat 10,21 mm dan 10,79 mm. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas antibakteri, ekstrak etanol herba seledri, Actinomyces sp, Lactobacillus acidophilus,daya hambat.

Abstract

Telang flower kombucha has been widely studied as a probiotic drink that can boost the immune system which in recent research has various pharmacological activities as a source of antimicrobials, especially in health problems related to dental disease. Previous studies and this is still a renewable research has found that mouthwash formulations and preparations made from an active ingredient of seagrass kombucha fermented solution have been shown to be able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Streptococcus mutans. This study aims to make toothpaste formulations and preparations with an active ingredient of telang flower kombucha fermented solution as a pharmaceutical biotechnology product designed to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and mutant Streptococcus bacteria as well as pathogenic fungi in the form of Candida albicans species. This type of research is a laboratory experiment in which we make a toothpaste base without the active substance as a negative control. Provide toothpaste that is sold in the market as a positive control. Make formulations and preparations of toothpaste with active ingredients from the fermented butterfly pea flower kombucha solution which includes concentrations of 20%, 30% and 40%. Data analysis was used through one way ANOVA where in the results of the study each preparation had a P value <0.05, so that further tests could be carried out through post hoc analysis. eggplant at a concentration of 40% was significantly different from 20% and 30% as a pharmaceutical biotechnology product in inhibiting the growth of the three test microbes and the results of this study it can be concluded that the formulation and preparation of toothpaste made from the active ingredient of butterfly pea flower kombucha fermentation solution is the best treatment as an antimicrobial and pharmaceutical biotechnology products.
