Abstract

This article aims to look at the role of parents for their children where their family situation is not fine or can be said to be a broken home. People still think that children from broken home families are naughty children and cannot be managed so that in the end they will only become community waste. The existence of this stigma needs to be changed because not all children from broken home families are naughty and cannot be regulated. There are also quite a number of children from broken home families who have made achievements in their schools. Therefore, there needs to be encouragement and motivation for both parents so that children do not experience mental shocks due to separation from their parents. This research was conducted with a qualitative method, with data collection techniques used, namely the study of literature in related journals and articles. The results obtained in this article are in the form of forms of encouragement and motivation given by each father and mother in carrying out their role as parents.

Abstract

Pop-up origami merupakan perpaduan dari keterampilan pop-up dan origami, kedua seni ini sama-sama menonjolkan pada sisi pelipatan kertas. Membuat pop-up origami akan membantu siswa untuk menjadi teliti serta disiplin dan memiliki pola pikir yang runtun, sebab dalam pengerjaannya siswa akan dilatih untuk mengerjakan sesuatu secara runtun sehingga ini secara tidak langsung dapat membantu siswa dalam cara berpikir yang runtun dan memperhatikan setiap detail. Disamping itu, keterampilan dalam membuat pop-up origami juga dapat menjadi salah satu bentuk keterampilan yang dapat menjadi bekal untuk siswa dalam membuka suatu usaha. Keterampilan ini dapat dimanfaatkan kepada siswa yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikannya dan belum menemukan pekerjaan yang pas untuk menjadi suatu peluang usaha yang tentunya hasilnya cukup menjanjikan. Metode pelatihan pop up origami yang dilaksanakan pada siswa SMK Kuncup Samigaluh yaitu dengan metode pelatihan. Mahasiswa sebagai narasumber menjelaskan dan mendemonstrasikan pembuatan pop up origami kepada siswa di depan kelas dengan praktik langsung. Siswa kemudian menirukan dan mempraktikkan apa yang mereka lihat dan narasumber praktikkan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pembuatan pelatihan pop up origami antara lain yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan kelompok sasaran mengenai cara pembuatan pop up origami, meningkatkan keterampilan kelompok sasaran mengenai cara pembuatan pop up origami, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan kelompok sasaran mengenai potensi bisnis pop up origami. Kegiatan evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan metode tanya jawab dengan kelompok sasaran serta penilaian pada hasil produk serta review kembali kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan.
