Abstract

Background : Breast milk is the best food for babies 0-6 months. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage is still low in Indonesia. Many factors become obstacles to exclusive breastfeeding. Method : This research uses a correlation study design cross sectional, to look for the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding. The population is all mothers who have babies aged 6-24 years in Sisumut Village in 2023, totaling 50 mothers using a purposive sampling technique. Research time May 2023 in Sisumut Village. Data is taken primarily for knowledge and attitudes. Questionnaire instrument tool using interview method. The data analysis technique uses Chi statistical test analysis Squere . Results : The majority of respondents had less than 76% knowledge, 54% agreed, 76% aged 20-35 years, 44% SMS education and 66% employed. There is a relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding, namely p = 0.002 < of α value = 0.05. There is no relationship between attitude and exclusive breastfeeding, namely p= 0.145 > than α value = 0.05. Conclusion : There is a relationship between knowledge and no relationship between attitudes and exclusive breastfeeding. It is best to be given support from health workers, family and the mother's intention to provide exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Ketidakcukupan zat besi akan menyebabkan kekurangan Hb dalam darah yang diperlukan untuk membawa oksigen kepada janin dan sel ibu. Cakupan pemberian Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) pada ibu hamil di Indonesia tahun 2019 adalah 64,0%, angka ini belum mencapai target Renstra tahun 2019 yaitu 98%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku ibu hamil dalam mengonsumsi tablet sulfas ferosus (Fe) di Desa Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Langkat tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan observasional deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil di Desa Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Langkat pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Juli Tahun 2021. Sampel sebanyak 25 responden yang diperoleh dari rumusan besaran sampel menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling.Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode tabulasi silang. Responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang pentingnya mengkonsumsi tablet Sulfas Ferosus (Fe) selama kehamilannya sebanyak 17 responden (68%) dan yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik sebanyak 8 responden (32%). Sedangkan dari segi sikap, 16 responden (64%) yang memiliki sikap baik, 6 responden (24%) yang memiliki sikap sangat baik, dan 3 responden (12%) yang memiliki sikap ragu-ragu. Pengetahuan ibu hamil dalam mengonsumsi tablet Sulfas Ferosus (Fe) selama kehamilannya, diperoleh sebanyak 17 responden (68%) yang berpengetahuan baik, dan sebanyak 8 responden (32%) yang berpengetahuan kurang baik. Sikap ibu hamil dalam mengonsumsi tablet Sulfas Ferosus (Fe) selama kehamilannya, diperoleh sebanyak 6 responden (24%) memiliki sikap sangat baik, sebanyak 16 responden (64%) memiliki sikap baik, dan sebanyak 3 responden (12%) memiliki sikap ragu-ragu. Disarankan untuk peneliti selanjutnya melanjutkan menggunakan metode yang berbeda
