Abstract

Chemistry practical is really needed in teaching and learning process of chemistry subject. This practical work may given the opportunity for the students to participate in teaching and learning process actively. One of the most valuable media which can be used in this practical work is module based of guided inquiry method. Though developing is module in Salahutu district of high school, we can improve the student activity and creativity in managing their practical work. The 4D by Tiagarajan and Semmel model has been used in developing this modul. 4D model is one of the development model which consists of four stapes, they are define, design, develope, and disseminate. Acording to the results of small group experiment, its show that 70% of student has the very good activity and 30% is in good category of managing their practical work. Furthermore, the large group experiment give result that 85,2% of the student manage their practical work ini very good criteria and 14.6% of then doing it in good criteria.

Abstract

Abstrak   Pengembangan bahan ajar ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan bahan ajar PBL pada materi hidrokarbon, (2) mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar PBL hasil pengembangan dalam materi pokok senyawa hidrokarbon, dan (3) mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media hasil pengembangan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan bahan ajar PBL. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang mencakup tahap-tahap: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Pengembangan ini hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Uji coba lapangan terbatas dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Tulehu, Maluku. Hasil pengembangan adalah bahan ajar berbasis masalah , yang layak digunakan. Efektivitas bahan ajar PBL dilihat dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari siswa dalam uji coba lapangan terbatas. Ketuntasan belajar siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar PBL adalah 100%, atau tidak satu pun siswa yang tidak tuntas belajar.

Abstract

Introduction : Along with the times, humans tend to adopt a modern lifestyle. This lifestyle greatly affects people’s health. Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure which results in the supply of oxygen carried by the blood experiencing obstacles to the tissues that need it. Objective: To determine the effect of giving green tea on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province. Method: The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest- posttest design. The independent variable is green tea in November 2021. The sample for this study was selected using the total sampling technique, which consisted of 30 populations. The statistical test used is Wilcoxon α = 0.005. Results: Shows that there is a relationship between the effect of giving green tea on reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province, namely the results obtained are p = 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: there is an effect of giving green tea on reducing pressure in hypertensive patients at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province.

Abstract

Vocational high schools aim to form graduates who are ready to enter the world of work, be employed, or as entrepreneurs. To realize this goals, graduates must be equipped with relevant skills so that they are ready to compete in the world of work. One of them is by implementing the PjBL learning model. This service aims to improve electrochemical learning at SMK Islam 1 Blitar and improve teacher competence in designing learning with the PjBL method, as well as providing a fun experience for students. After the implementation, it can be seen that PjBL learning makes teacher more creative and innovative in compiling and designing learning.

Abstract

STEM Approach through PjBL Model on Voltaic Cell Material to Develop Students' Psychomotor Skills. Learning not only focuses on aspects of knowledge and attitudes but also skills or psychomotor abilities. Especially in chemistry learning, psychomotor skills are an important aspect because they involve a lot of activities in the ability to use tools, materials and technology. One of the relevant approaches is the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic) approach applied through the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model. This study aims to describe the psychomotor skills after the application of the STEM approach through the PjBL model on “Sel Volta” material. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the learning can build students' psychomotor abilities well with the results obtained in the excellent category of 73.17%, good by 21.95%, and sufficient by 4.88%.
