Abstract

There is no independence of a nation without nationalism. The birth of a country and national passion are always built by a strong sense of nationalism. Nationalism will never be obsolete and will remain the identity of every child of the nation and become the pride of the nation whatever "ism" they adhere to. Nationalism that fades will fade identity and weaken national pride. Therefore, it is necessary to have an effective educational format to maintain the spirit and passion of intergenerational nationalism so that we are not careless ideologically and culturally, especially in realizing a "Golden Indonesia" in 2045. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan metode pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Metode kajian literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis penelitian yang relevan mengenai metode jigsaw dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar, penguasaan materi, keterampilan sosial, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Meskipun demikian, beberapa tantangan seperti perbedaan kemampuan siswa dan kebutuhan akan bimbingan intensif dari guru perlu diperhatikan. Dengan penerapan yang tepat, metode jigsaw dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan efektif. Implikasi dan rekomendasi praktis juga diberikan untuk mendukung penerapan metode ini dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam integrasi pendidikan multikultural dan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di era globalisasi. Pendidikan multikultural berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi, empati, penghargaan terhadap keberagaman, serta membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya hidup berdampingan secara harmonis di tengah masyarakat yang plural. Di sisi lain, literasi digital diperlukan untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan kritis, kreatif, etis, dan produktif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang. Melalui studi pustaka dan pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sinergi antara pendidikan multikultural dan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran IPS tidak hanya memperkuat identitas kewarganegaraan global, tetapi juga membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial, budaya, dan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi keduanya mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan abad 21. Dengan demikian, guru IPS perlu merancang strategi pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi, inovasi, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital, agar siswa tidak hanya menjadi warga negara yang cerdas dan kritis, tetapi juga berkarakter, toleran, serta berdaya saing di tingkat global.

Abstract

Literature serves not only as a source of entertainment but also as an effective medium for conveying moral messages to readers. The novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu by J.S. Khairen presents the story of characters struggling through life’s limitations, rich in humanitarian and spiritual values. This study aims to describe the moral values contained in the novel and examine their relevance to Indonesian language learning in schools. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis as the primary method. Data were collected through in-depth reading of the novel, noting quotations that contain moral values, and categorizing them accordingly. The research instrument used was a moral value classification table that includes individual, social, and religious moral categories. The findings show that there are 100 instances of moral values in the novel, including optimism, responsibility, empathy, sacrifice, honesty, social care, prayer, gratitude, and faith. These values are reflected through the actions and dialogues of the main characters, as well as the settings and situations that represent social realities relevant to students' lives. The conclusion of this study states that the novel holds great potential as a literary resource in Indonesian language learning, particularly for instilling character values aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Literary works serve not only as entertainment but also as an effective medium for conveying moral messages to readers. Brian Khrisna's novel Sisi Tergelap Surga (The Darkest Side of Heaven) presents the story of characters struggling in the harshness of city life, with various inner conflicts and social issues that reflect the reality of lower-class society. This study aims to identify the moral values contained in the novel and explore their relationship to Indonesian language learning in schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis techniques. Data were collected through intensive reading of the novel text, recording quotations containing moral values, and then grouping them into three types of relationships: humans with themselves, humans with others, and humans with God. The research instrument was a moral value classification table. Based on the analysis, several values were found, such as empathy, responsibility, honesty, justice, determination, and sacrifice. These values are displayed through the attitudes, dialogues of the characters, and the story's setting, which clearly depicts social inequality. This study concludes that this novel has great potential to be used as teaching material in literature learning in Indonesian language classes, especially in efforts to instill character values in accordance with the spirit of the Independent Curriculum.
