Abstract

This study aims to find out students' mathematical reasoning abilities in Moodle-assisted Project Based Learning in terms of self-efficacy of class XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Semarang. This research is a mixed method type of concurrent embedded design. The subjects of this study were determined based on self-efficacy scores using a self-efficacy questionnaire for class XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Semarang. The results showed that students with high self-efficacy were able to master all indicators of mathematical reasoning: (a) able to analyze problems, (b) able to apply strategies, (c) able to find and use relationships from different mathematical domains, different contexts, and representations. different, (d) interpreting solutions and ways to answer problems, well. Students with moderate self-efficacy category can master three indicators of mathematical reasoning well. Meanwhile, students who have low self-efficacy are only able to master one indicator of mathematical reasoning well

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang efektivitas pendekatan TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) berbantuan aplikasi Canva dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas X. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive random sampling, melalui desain one group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas X-2 SMA N 5 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen hasil nilai pretest-posttest  siswa yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan numerasi. Hasil pretest  diperoleh rata-rata yaitu 60,67. Selanjutnya, peneliti memberikan perlakuan dengan penerapan pendekatan TaRL berbantuan aplikasi Canva didapatkan rata-rata nilai posttest yaitu 77,78. Hasil analisis uji-t didapatkan  bahwa  terdapat  perbedaan  yang  signifikan antara  hasil pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, nilai N-Gain juga tergolong dalam kriteria efektif 0,70 > g ≥ 0,30 dalam kategori sedang yaitu senilai 0,5007. Maka dengan demikian berarti terdapat efektivitas dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa sesudah menerapkan pendekatan TaRL berbantuan aplikasi Canva.
