Abstract

The objectives of this study are to identify internal and external factors for the development of the Lidi Nipah Woven Handicraft business in the Bungong Chirih group and analyze the business development strategy of Lidi Nipah Woven Crafts in the Bungong Chirih group. This research was conducted in Matang Gleum Village, Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency. The method used is a case study. The sample in this study was the business owner of the Bungong Chirih group. Respondents in this study were identified from 5 key figures. The analysis methods used are SWOT and QSPM. The results showed that alternative strategies that can be applied in developing a business based on the SWOT matrix get 8 alternative strategies, namely there are two SO Strategies, two ST Strategies, two WO Strategies, and two WT Strategies. Meanwhile, the priority strategy that can be applied in developing the Lidi Nipah Woven handicraft business in the Bungong Chirih Group in Matang Gleum Village, Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency based on QSPM analysis, results were obtained utilizing good product quality and continuing to produce products according to consumer demand in order to continue to be able to lead the market and enter the regional market, Maximizing internet media as a promotional medium and as a marketing medium so that products can be more widely known and reached.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the cost structure and profitability of the broiler duck farming business (Anas Sp) in Batee Puteh village, Langsa Lama sub-district, Langsa city. The method used is a survey method and direct interviews with breeders. The population in this study were breeders who cultivated broiler ducks with an ownership scale of more than 100 individuals, totaling 2 people. The method used in sampling is the Census Method, namely by taking the entire population to be used as a sample. The data collected includes primary data and secondary data. The research results show that the cost structure incurred by breeders consists of: fixed costs amounting to IDR 4.473.535,-/year with a percentage of 2,98% and variable costs as big as IDR 79,369,000/year with a percentage of 52,91%. The total income received by duck breeders in Batee Puteh Village is IDR151.200.000,-/year with total production costs of IDR83.842.535,-/year thereby generating huge profits IDR67.357.465,-/Year and IDR5.613.122,-/Month with the average profit being IDR33.678.733,-/Year and IDR2.806.561,-/Month. Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis under normal conditions and after changes in production, a 5% decrease in production, a 10% increase in feed prices and a 15% decrease in cage usage costs indicate that the duck farming business in Batee Puteh Village is still feasible to run.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income contribution and working time allocation of women duck farmers in Batee Puteh Village, Langsa Lama Subdistrict, Langsa City, Aceh, in supporting family income. The sampling technique used was a census or Saturated Sampling method, with a sample size of 12 women duck farmers. The data analysis methods employed are income analysis and the Harvard analysis method. The study results show that the average total working hours of women farmers across all activities is 11.66 hours per day, or 48.58%, with a rest time of 12.33 hours per day. The net income received by women meat duck farmers is IDR 6,003,908 per year, while women laying duck farmers earn IDR 1,972,013 per year. Consequently, the average total net income received by women duck farmers is IDR 3,987,960 per month. Women duck farmers contribute 13.08% to the family income. Hypothesis testing was conducted to determine the income contribution of women duck farmers in enhancing family income. The income contribution of women duck farmers, at 17.48%, falls into the low category. Activities were divided into production, predominantly managed by women; reproductive tasks, also predominantly managed by women; and social and community activities, which were shared by both genders.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the cost of production in the Pak Mitro tofu making business in Stabat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. This research uses a case study method and is analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The data collection methods used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The subject in this research is the owner of a tofu making business, namely Mr. Mitro. The analysis calculated uses the full costing method and the activity based costing (ABC) method. The results obtained from this research are the cost of production using the Full Costing method of Rp. 269 and using the Activity Based Costing method of Rp. 260. So that the tofu production produced by Pak Mitro's business experiences quite large costs of Rp. 9/unit.
