Abstract

The existence of majlis taklim in society becomes very important. This is because the assembly taklim has a position and a strategic role, in conveying the values of da'wah in the community more specifically to the mothers of the religious sciences. In addition, the assembly became a means of communication and means to strengthen the fraternity among fellow Muslims. In addition, the assembly taklim can serve as a medium in the mental mental development of Islamic societies in the face of the current era of information globalization. Therefore it can be used as a medium of enlightenment and community empowerment. In other words, the existence of majelis taklim generally can be utilized by all circles of society as non-formal education institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the factors that influence the interest of FEBI UIN Antasari students for invest on the capital market, and to find out the perspectives of academics and practitioners on how to develop investment among students. The population in this study were 428 students of FEBI UIN Antasari who had become investors with a sample size of 81 students who were obtained using the Slovin formula with a standard error of 10%, as well as additional data that were analyzed qualitatively using 3 academics and 2 practitioners in the capital market. The data were processed using quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis that adapts to the conditions in the field that generate a response to the problems studied. The results explain the more dominant factors that cause students to be interested in investing in the capital market, namely motivation, followed by the risk recognition, learning, perception, income and learning factors. As well as the suggestions and opinions of academics and practitioners on how to increase the interest in investing in the stock market by the students is to increase human resources in the campus, increased support facilities, apply learning theory direct practice and the existence of the program or policy made by the leadership of the campus in increasing interest students invest in the capital market.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa FEBI UIN Antasari terhadap investasi di pasar modal, dan mengetahui perspektif akademisi dan praktisi tentang cara pengembangan investasi di kalangan mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiwa FEBI UIN Antasari yang sudah menjadi investor berjumlah 428 orang mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 81 orang mahasiswa yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dengan standar error 10%, serta tambahan data yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan 3 orang akademisi dan 2 orang praktisi di pasar modal. Data diolah secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif sesuai karakteristik kedua rumusan. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang lebih dominan penyebab mahasiswa berminat untuk melakukan investasi di Pasar Modal yaitu Motivasi, kemudian diikuti oleh faktor Pengenalan Risiko, Pembelajaran, Persepsi, Pendapatan dan Pembelajaran. Adapun saran dari akademisi dan praktisi untuk meningkatkan minat mahasiswa berinvestasi di pasar modal yaitu dengan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia di kampus, memperbanyak fasilitas pendukung, menerapkan pembelajaran teori praktik langsung serta adanya program ataupun kebijakan yang dibuat oleh pimpinan kampus dalam meningkatkan minat mahasiswa berinvestasi di pasar modal.

Abstract

This article argues that the attitude of Indonesian mufassir is not always parallel in respond to the concept of Human Rights. This is shown from our discussion of three contextual issues in human rights: freedom of religion, freedom to find a mate, and death sentence, which are exemplified by comparing to the three Indonesian mufassir: Hamka’s Tafsir al-Azhar, Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy’s Tafsir al-Nur and Tafsir al-Bayan, and Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir Al-Mishbah. The article concludes: First, in respond to the human rights issues, Indonesian commentators tend to be responsive. All three exegetes denied those who claimed that Islam was spread with violence and those who opposed the death penalty. Second, on the relationship between human rights and Islam, the commentators have similarities and differences with human rights. Among these similarities, for example, is the issue of religious freedom. As for the issue of freedom to choose a mate and a death sentence, they are taking a different position from human rights. On the issue of death penalty, the commentators emphasize to not only looking from the side of the killer, but also from the right of the murder.

Abstract

This article is a response to the lack of research on the Quranic exegesis in the early development of Islam in the archipelago. This article examines the exegetical aspects in Maslak al-Sālikīn Ilā Ḥaḍrat Rabb al-‘Ālamīn, a Jawi manuscript from Negara, South Kalimantan. This text contains quotations from verses from the Quran translated into the Malay language, so the text is considered to have an important role in translating Islam to the local context. This kind of translation method is tarjamah tafsīrīyah, ie copying or transferring sentences from the original language into another language without having to depend on the structure and composition of the original language so the method is more concerned with the content of the message contained in the target language. On this basis, this text can be considered as one of the important references Quranic exegesis studies in the past. --- Artikel ini merupakan jawaban atas kelangkaan kajian tafsir Alquran pada masa awal perkembangan Islam di Nusantara. Objek kajian artikel ini adalah aspek tafsir dalam teks Maslak al-Sālikīn Ilā Ḥaḍrat Rabb al-‘Ālamīn, sebuah teks dari daerah Negara, Kalimantan Selatan, yang beraksara Jawi, berbahasa Melayu. Teks ini berisi kutipan dari ayat-ayat Alquran yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Melayu sehingga teks ini dianggap memiliki peran penting dalam hal penerjemahan Islam ke dalam konteks lokal. Metode penerjemahan semacam ini merupakan tarjamah tafsīrīyah, yaitu menyalin atau mengalihkan kalimat dari bahasa asal ke dalam bahasa yang lain tanpa bergantung dengan struktur dan susunan bahasa asal sehingga metode ini lebih mementingkan isi pesan yang terdapat di dalam bahasa sasaran. Atas dasar itulah teks ini dapat dipandang sebagai salah satu kajian tafsir yang penting di masa lalu.

Abstract

This article will unravel the thoughts of a classical exegete, namely Ibn Jarir Al-Thabari ( 224–310 H/839–923 AD ) about gender verses. This article refutes some of the claims of feminists that all interpretations of exegetes in the classical era were unfriendly and somewhat negative towards women. This is a qualitative research. The approach used is to follow Amin al-Khuli's approach, namely the ma fi al-Qur'an and ma hawla al-Qur'an approach and also the Schleiermacher approach which emphasizes two important aspects in the process of text interpretation, grammatical interpretation, and psychological interpretation. The conclusion of verse 1 and verse 34 of surah an-Nisa (4) which is the object of discussion is that al-Thabari's interpretation cannot be separated from the patriarchal culture inherent in his time and smells of gender bias. This can be seen when interpreting the nafs wahidah in verse 1 of Surah an-Nisa (4). He understood it as a figure of Adam -sex male. It is different when understanding the concept of qiwamah in verse 34, his opinion is: in line with those understood by contemporary scholars, and this distinguishes him from contemporaries or even after him. He also understands this concept functionally not in a structural form. This refutes the claim among feminists, such as Asma Lambrabet, who generalized that all commentators of the classical period used the concept of qiwamah as a proposition for male superiority even though al-Thabari was different from the others. In addition, he remains faithful in placing this verse in its context, namely only in the domestic sphere, not in the public sphere. Importantly, al-Tabari's paradigm of interpretation which is faithful to history leads him to a more literal understanding of the verse. This is seen when understanding the word dharaba. He understands the meaning with a physical beating, not with metaphorical meaning, even though the beating is light, does not hurt, and does not leave an impression.

Abstract

The Banjar community in Panjaratan Village understands the Qur'an not only in terms of understanding the text, namely in the form of practice in reading or studying the Qur'an, more than that, the many cultures or traditions that exist in the community are the result of the development of community receptions, especially the Banjar community towards the Qur'an from time to time. This study aims to further examine how the community's reception of the Qur'an and will classify the typology of the Qur'an's reception and analyze the meaning contained in it. This research uses a qualitative approach, analyzing the typology of the Qur'an with the theory of Qur'anic reception by Ahmad Rafiq and analyzing the meaning using the theory of sociology of knowledge by Karl Mannheim. The results of the research on the typology of Al-Qur'an reception in Panjaratan Village obtained three receptions of the Al-Qur'an, namely exegesis reception implemented in recitation activities and religious assemblies, aesthetic reception manifested in decorations in people's homes and implemented from the existence of al-Qur'an learning with certain methods and tones and functionalist reception implemented in verses as certain functions in life. The meanings contained in the practice of Qur'an reception in Banjar society are first, the objective meaning is interpreted as a symbol of the high sense of religion and closeness to Allah Swt. Second, the documentary meaning is as a culture from ancestors that is preserved and acculturated with Islamic culture. Third, the expressive meaning is that the practice of Qur'anic reception is used as a wasilah in achieving certain goals, hopes and desires by the people who carry it out.Masyarakat Banjar di Desa Panjaratan terhadap Al-Qur’an, mereka memahami Al-Qur’an bukan hanya sekedar pemahaman yang berada pada teks yaitu berupa pengamalan dalam membaca atau mengkaji al-Qur’an, lebih dari itu banyaknya budaya ataupun tradisi yang terdapat di masyarakat merupakan hasil perkembangan resepsi masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Banjar terhadap al-Qur’an dari masa ke masa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti lebih jauh bagaimana resepsi masyarakat terhadap al-Qur’an serta akan melakukan klasifikasi tipologi dari resepsi al-Qur’an dan menganalisis makna yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, menganalisis tipologi al-Qur’an dengan teori resepsi al-Qur’an oleh Ahmad Rafiq serta menganalisis makna menggunakan teori sosiologi pengetahuan oleh Karl Mannheim. Hasil dari penelitian mengenai tipologi resepsi al-Qur’an di Desa Panjaratan didapatkan tiga resepsi al-Qur’an yaitu resepsi eksegesis terimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pengajian dan majelis taklim keagamaan, resepsi estetis termanifestasikan dalam hiasan-hiasan dalam rumah masyarakat serta terimplementasikan dari adanya pembelajaran al-Qur’an dengan metode dan nada-nada tertentu dan resepsi fungsionalis terimplementasikan dalam ayat sebagai fungsi tertentu dalam kehidupan. Makna yang terkandung dalam praktik resepsi al-Qur’an di masyarakat Banjar adalah pertama, makna objektifnya dimaknai sebagai simbol dari tingginya rasa beragama dan kedekatan dengan Allah swt. Kedua, makna dokumenternya adalah sebagai budaya dari nenek moyang yang dilestarikan serta diakulturasikan dengan budaya Islam. Ketiga, makna ekspresifnya adalah praktik resepsi al-Qur’an digunakan sebagai wasilah dalam mencapai tujuan, harapan dan hajat tertentu oleh masyarakat yang melaksanakannya.
