Latar Belakang: Akademi Kebidanan Yogyakarta tahun 2013 menjalin kerjasama dengan Kemeterian Daerah Tertinggal dengan tujuan lulusan bisa menjadi tenaga kesehatan untuk daerah tertinggal. Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat masih banyak kekurangan tenaga bidan, telah menempatkan bidan desa sebagai PTT. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui kompetensi Antenatal Care bidan dalam pelayanan kebidanan di tempat pelayanan.Tujuan Penelitian: mengetahui bagaimana kompentensi lulusan bidan Akademi Kebidanan Yogyakarta dari propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat dalam memberikan asuhan antenatal care.Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian mix methode yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan survey menggunakan kuesioner dan melakukan wawancara. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh alumni lulusan dari Akademi Kebidanan Yogyakarta berasal dari propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat pada bulan Mei- Juli 2014. Sampel penelitian ini diambil secara purposive yaitu alumni mewakili tempat kerja di puskesmas atau rumah sakit termasuk dan praktik mandiriHasil Penelitian: Bidan almuni sebanyak 62 bidan, sebagian besar mereka bekerja di Polindes atau Puskesmas, belum melakukan pelayanan secara terpadu terutama untuk pemeriksaan laboratorium. Bidan yang bekerja di rumah sakit belum tentu memberikan pelayanan antenatal care, tergantung penempatan ruang. Pelayanan komp- likasi atau rujukan dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur. Pengalaman dan lama kerja meningkatkan kemampuan bidan dalam deteksi dini komplikasi dan rujukan.Simpulan dan saran: Kompetensi antenatal care dilakukan sesuai prosedur. Bidan harus meningkatkan pengeta-huan dan ketrampilan sesuai dengan program pemerintah.ABSTRACTBackground: In 2013 Midwifery Academy Yogyakarta formed a partnership with Ministry of Disadvantaged Areas with the aim that graduates could be health workers in disadvantaged areas. The population comprised all alumni of Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy from the province of West Nusa Tenggara in Mei- July 2014. The samples were taken by purposive sampling representing alumni working in primary health centers, hospitals, and independent practiceResults: The alumni were 62 midwives. Most were working in Polindes or primary health center, having no inte- grated services mainly for laboratory examination. Midwives working in hospitals do not necessarily provide ante- natal care, depending on their ward assignation. Complications or referral services were conducted in accordance with standard procedures. Length of working experience improves the ability of midwives in the early detection of complications and referral.Conclusions and suggestions: Antenatal care competence was in accordance with procedures. Midwives should increase their knowledge and skills in accordance with the government program.

Background: South Sorong regency as one of the districts in the province of West Papua is highly needed health workers because there shortage of midwives. Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy has been cooperating with the government in the South Sorong regency since 2009 had been educated 38 and in 2012 had been graduated 25 midwives. The graduates have been placed in South Sorong regency as a midwife, 3 midwives working in district general hospitals and the other working in health centers or as midwife in the village.Objective:The research aimed to find out the performance of Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy graduates from South Sorong regency.Method: The study was quantitative and qualitative research with survey by using questionnaire and interview. The research sample was taken purposively that is the alumni represent their workplace in the helath center or hospital including independent practice.Results:In the amount of 27 Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy graduates working in South Sorong regency, 89.9% worked as a midwife and midwife at the health center, 11.1% worked in the hospital. Midwives who work in the hospital was enough get the knowledge about midwifery care, which needs to be added is the introduction of more modern tools such as ultrasound. The performance of Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy graduatesis good enough in carrying out midwifery care and professionalism.Conclusions:The performance of Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy graduateswho work in South Sorong is good. Performance of midwives who work in the health center or midwife should be given the material beyond the competence because of the limitations of the health worker. There is need additional training for graduates in accordance with the placement.Keywords: performance, midwife

Background: Family Planning (KB) is a program in Indonesia that aims to reduce birth rates inIndonesia. The choice of contraceptive behavior can be influenced by several factors includingeducation, parity, knowledge and environment. Research Objectives to determine the relationshipof education and parity with knowledge of IUD family planning in family planning acceptors.Methods: This study used an analytical survey method and a cross sectional approach wasconducted in January-March in the hamlet of Dronco, Girirejo, Imogiri, Bantul. The number ofsamples is 164 people, accidental sampling techniques. The research instruments used in thisstudy were questionnaires and data analysis using Kendall's know.Results: the results of the study found that the highest education acceptors were secondaryeducation with a percentage of 51.2%. The parity of acceptors namely acceptors has 2 childrenwith a percentage of 45.7%. The most used contraception is injection with a percentage of 57.9%.There is a relationship between education and parity with knowledge of IUD contraception infamily planning acceptors in Dronco hamlet.Keywords: Education, Parity, IUD contraceptive knowledge

Service quality and Educational Information Communication (IEC) can affect the continuity ofcontraceptive use. The purpose of this study is how the effectiveness of multimedia-assisted KIEFamily Planning (KB) by midwives in assisting the selection of contraceptives for pregnant women.The pre-experimental research design was in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design, namelylooking at the knowledge of pregnant women about family planning before and after IEC and knowingthe selection of contraceptives before and after IEC which was carried out at the Larashati SewonClinic. The sample of this study was 41 pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy with thetechnique of taking acidental sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis usingnonparametric test two samples related test with Wilcoxon. There was a difference in the choice ofcontraceptive before and after being given IEC. There is a difference in the knowledge of pregnantwomen before and after being given IEC. IEC services for family planning by midwives for patientsusing multimedia can increase knowledge, so that it can help pregnant women to choosecontraceptives after childbirth.Keywords: Educational information communication, family planning, contraceptive selection

Maternal and child health is a problem in Indonesia and even the world. It isproven in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), one of the goals in the healthsector is to improve the welfare of mothers and children. In addition, according to theIndonesian Ministry of Health in 2015, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) each year reached 450 per hundred thousand live births.However, this can still be prevented by providing appropriate and intensive care to theclient. One of the intensive care is comprehensive care. Comprehensive midwiferycare if done properly can prevent or detect early complications that will occur in themother. The client is Mrs. S, she has one risk, which is over 35 years old, so it is arisky pregnancy. Midwives in the case of midwifery students provide comprehensivemidwifery care. Students are able to apply continuous midwifery care from pregnancyto the puerperium to Ny. S at Sewon 1 Health Center Bantul. The care provided duringpregnancy is pregnancy massage because Mrs. S several times complained offatigue. During childbirth the author provides care by teaching the mother breathingrelaxation techniques and motivating the mother. During the postpartum period, themother was worried because her breast milk had not yet come out, so she was givenoxytocin massage and motivation for the mother. During the neonatal period, Mrs. Shad experienced jaundice, the care provided was to breastfeed the baby to the motherand recommended breastfeeding at least every 2 hours even though the milk had notcome out. Continuing midwifery care has been provided to Mrs. S by taking intoaccount the various risk factors that Mrs. S and the baby.Keywords: Continuity of Care, Pregnancy Massage, Oxytocin Massage
