Abstract

Abstract This study comprehensively explores the role and relevance of Sufism-based approaches to character education as a valuable framework for shaping individual and community character from an Islamic perspective. This study uses the literature study method with an integrative literature analysis approach to obtain comprehensive results in identifying and evaluating critical concepts related to character education from the perspective of Islamic Sufism. The results of this study stated that character education based on Islamic Sufism has excellent potential to form individuals who are responsible, moral, and ethical. Through a basic understanding of Sufism in character education, individuals are taught to have a profound moral awareness and strong ethical values as the foundation of their actions. The practice of Sufism in character education creates individuals who are more humble, thoughtful, and able to reflect on their activities honestly and focus on continued personal growth. Applying Sufism-based character education in everyday life connects moral and ethical principles with concrete steps in society, creating better relationships with fellow human beings, nature, and the spiritual world. Thus, character education based on Islamic Sufism can positively contribute to creating a more inclusive, fair, peaceful, and harmonious society in an increasingly complex world. Abstrak Kajian ini secara komprehensif mengeksplorasi peran dan relevansi pendekatan pendidikan karakter berbasis tasawuf sebagai kerangka kerja yang berharga untuk membentuk karakter individu dan masyarakat dalam perspektif Islam. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan analisis literatur secara integratif untuk mendapatkan hasil yang komprehensif dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi konsep-konsep kunci yang terkait dengan pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif tasawuf Islam. Hasil kajian ini menyatakan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis tasawuf Islam memiliki potensi besar untuk membentuk individu yang bertanggung jawab, bermoral, dan beretika. Melalui pemahaman dasar tasawuf dalam pendidikan karakter, individu diajarkan untuk memiliki kesadaran moral yang mendalam dan nilai-nilai etika yang kuat sebagai landasan tindakan mereka. Praktik tasawuf dalam pendidikan karakter menciptakan individu yang lebih rendah hati, bijaksana, dan mampu merenungkan tindakan mereka dengan kejujuran serta berfokus pada pertumbuhan pribadi yang berkelanjutan. Penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis tasawuf dalam kehidupan sehari-hari menghubungkan prinsip-prinsip moral dan etika dengan tindakan konkret dalam masyarakat, menciptakan hubungan yang lebih baik dengan sesama manusia, alam, serta dunia spiritual. Dengan demikian, pendidikan karakter berbasis tasawuf Islam dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih inklusif, adil, damai, dan harmonis di tengah dunia yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang produk-produk hukum keluarga Islam di Turki dengan fokus utama kajian artikel ini adalah bagaimana sejarah dan perkembangan hukum keluarga di Turki dan apa saja produk dari pembaharuan hukum keluarga di Turki menggunakan studi kepustakaan.Tulisan ini menemukan bahwa perkembangan pembaharuan hukum keluarga di Turki yang dimulai dari al‐Majallâh (1876), The Ottoman Law of Family Right (1917), Peraturan Sipil Turki (The Turkish Civil Code of 1926) merupakan sebuah respon atas pengaruh dan perubahan kondisi sosial, politik, dan ekonomi yang tidak stabil apalagi pada masa tersebut masyarakat Turki masih mengalami kondisi krisis identitas. Kemudian produk dari pembaharuan hukum keluarga di Turki dibagi kedalam dua cakupan yakni munakahat dan mawaris, di mana bagian dari munakahat itu sendiri meliputi, khitbah, batas usia minimal menikah, larangan dalam perkawinan, poligami, walimah, pembatalan perkawinan, perkawinan yang tidak disahkan, perceraian, kompensasi dalam perceraian, Sedangkan dalam mawaris meliputi, wasiat dan jumlah pembagian antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang setara.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to discuss mixed marriages that occur in Indonesia because the practice of mixed marriages is something that cannot be denied, both interfaith marriages and nationalities. Then, using a library study through data collection in its preparation using various journals and books that still have relevance to the object of discussion in the preparation of this article is the type of study that will be used. Furthermore, the data used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytic nature of research. The results of this study state that mixed marriages are a necessity if both partners have the same harmony and commitment in building the ark of domestic life. Then, mixed marriage is also a lifestyle if both partners want a different partner from the surrounding community which is the main attraction, or even a need to fulfil a lifestyle for the perpetrators.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) often occurs, especially in the form of physical violence against women (wives). To protect victims of domestic violence, the state has enacted the Law on Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence (UU PKDRT). Therefore, this study focuses on the phenomenon of victims' views on physical violence in the household in the community of Tegalrejo Village, Mayang District, Jember Regency from the perspective of the PKDRT Law. This study aims to understand and analyze the views of victims on physical violence in the household in depth in the community of Tegalrejo Village, Mayang District, Jember Regency. In addition, this study also aims to evaluate the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning PKDRT in the community of Tegalrejo Village. This research was conducted in the field (field research) with a juridical-normative approach with a qualitative descriptive nature through data collection from interviews and documentation. The results of this study state that the views of victims in Tegalrejo Village, Jember Regency towards physical violence in the household still tend to be conservative because various problems are still found in the implementation of the PKDRT Law so the knowledge of the Tegalrejo Village community regarding the law is still limited. The factors that cause this are the lack of government socialization regarding the PKDRT Law to the community, especially in villages, and the lack of public awareness of the problem of domestic violence which is often considered commonplace.

Abstract

This study explores how gharār can be identified and minimized in modern transactions that often involve high uncertainty. Library research is used in this study to collect, analyze and interpret data from various written sources in an integrative and comprehensive manner. The results state that the concept of gharār proves the flexibility and depth of Islamic law in responding to modern economic challenges, making it an ethical guide that avoids uncertainty and excessive speculation and promotes fairness, transparency and sustainability in transactions. More than just a prohibition, gharār is the foundation for formulating inclusive economic policies, addressing social inequality, poverty, and environmental degradation through an adaptive approach to technologies such as fintech and e-commerce without compromising sharia values. With collaboration between scholars, regulators, and practitioners, gharār serves as a universal principle that ensures the Islamic economic system remains globally relevant, not only as an alternative but also as a model of transformation towards a more just, sustainable, and collective welfare-oriented economy. Abstract

This study discusses the progressive thinking put forward by a young pesantren kiai from Madura, namely Lora Thohir. Lora Thohir's progressive thinking brings a new color to pesantren education in general and in particular to the progress of education at Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School. In this study, it is very interesting to study as an effort to preserve the ideas of various figures in Islamic boarding schools who have contributed to the progress of Islamic education in Indonesia, including the results of Lora Thohir's thoughts on the progress of Islamic boarding school education. Then, library research is the type in this research with a descriptive-explorative qualitative approach. In other words, this research is a character study with data analysis using content analysis techniques through inductive patterns. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that the existence of Lora Thohir has significantly positive impacts on the progress of education at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School. With progressive thinking, he is able to provide a new color for the development of pesantren education in the midst of modernization life with technological advances without having to leave the traditional values ​​of pesantren. The influence of Lora Thohir's progressive thinking in the field of education in general demands the formation of a complete human being or a perfect human being in the students. Meanwhile, in the implementation of Lora Thohir's progressive thinking in Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School Education, it is proven by the existence of several programs to develop knowledge among the students in the pesantren.
