Abstract

(Thematic Field Practice/PLT) is a required course for students of English Literature. This PLT implementation is a forum for each student to apply and improve the knowledge they have acquired in the fields of English Literature and Musical Arts in their community. In particular, through PLT he targets Sunday school children and youth in HKBP Parmonangan.This research can be classified as a type of descriptive research using qualitative methods, judging by the scope and results to be achieved. The survey was conducted with teenagers and Sunday school children from HKBP Parmonangan Church on Jl. Surya No. 12, Ex. IndraKasih Medan Tembung, North Sumatra. The activities of the author are as follows. (Thematic Field Practice/PLT) is a compulsory subject for students majoring in English Literature. The implementation of this PLT is a forum for all students to apply and enhance the knowledge gained in the field of English Literature to the community, especially Sunday School children at HKBP Parmonangan through the PLT. Based on the results of the discussion and on the data obtained from the actual work at the HKBP Parmonangan Church, the authors can make conclusions and recommendations that may be useful to all parties involved. deal with a problem, namely: Students learn more and can understand faster when they enter the world of work directly, Practical students acquire a wide range of knowledge in industrial practice, both theoretically and practically, Being able to know how to solve various problems directly, efficiently and effectively because they are linked to existing systems reduces errors and Can know how to work together between developers, distribution of tasks, means of communication and kinship created in PLT.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian tentang analisis makna lagu rohani Dung Tuhan Jesus Nampuna Au dan problematika penyajian Song Leader dalam ibadah Minggu di Gereja HKBP.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam ibadah Minggu di Gereja HKBP (Huria Kristen Batak Protestan), peranan Song Leader sangat penting sebagai pemimpin lagu rohani. Song leader menjadi pemandu bagi jemaat untuk bernyanyi dengan benar, sebagai pelayan Tuhan yang bekerja di ladang Tuhan. Song leader dituntut dapat bernyanyi dengan baik dan menghayati lagu yang dinyanyikan sesuai dengan makna syair lagu yang terdapat dalam buku nyanyian rohani (Buku Ende) HKBP. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dalam menyanyikan lagu rohani Dung Tuhan Jesus Nampuna Au, Song Leader kurang tepat membaca notasi dan ritem, kurang menguasai teknik pernapasan diafragma, kurang memahami artikulasi atau cara pengucapan syair lagu pujian dengan benar,  kurang menguasai  frasering atau pemenggalan kalimat lagu dan birama 9/8 dinyanyikan jadi birama ¾ sehingga  makna atau pesan syair lagu yang terkandung di dalamnya kurang tepat dinyanyikan. Namun demikian, lagu Dung Tuhan Jesus Nampuna Au tetap dinyanyikan dalam ibadah Minggu walaupun dengan kebiasaan tersebut. Kiranya pelatihan untuk Song Leader di Gereja HKBP perlu ditingkatkan lagi sehingga dapat memandu jemaat bernyanyi dengan benar sesuai dengan notasi dan tanda birama yang terdapat pada lagu Dung Tuhan Jesus Nampuna Au.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan instrumen dalam penggarapan aransemen lagu Tangiang Ni Damang Dainang oleh Regina Sidabutar. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori prier untuk menganalisis suatu pikiran atau ide yang termanifestasi dalam penyusunan berbagai unsur musik dalam aransemen seperti, melodi, irama, dinamika dan harmoni. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan musikologi yang menggunakan prosedur data deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data seperti studi pustaka dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan instrumental dalam aransemen dipengaruhi faktor siapa yang memainkan yang artinya selain aransemen yang disusun dengan banyak pertimbangan tetap tidak terlepas pada kemahiran seorang musisi. Seperti pada bagian melodi terbentuk dari beberapa frase yang terus mengalami variasi, irama yang diberikan merupakan gerakan teratur yang berupa aksenisasi dan berhubungan erat denga melodi, pada bagian harmoni didekatkan pada unsur vertikal dari susunan aransemen dan pada bagian dinamika lebih dihubungkan pada keberadaan instrumen dalam penggarapan karya. Lagu Tangiang Ni Damang Dainang menemukan bahwa komponis atau arranger telah menempatkan instrumen dengan baik.
