Abstract

Islam gives high spirit to its dherents or followers for searching of knowledge, even after the Prophet's death, Islamic education has developed very rapidly both in the aspect of curriculum and educational institutions. This condition is caused by the Islamic community has developed increasingly complex, both in the number of its adherents are growing as well as the condition of the Islamic territory, Thus the needs for education has increased so appear agencies as a form of institutionalized tradition of science and learning in Islam, ranging from the simplest until that can be regarded as modern models of learning, so that eventually emerge in the next era of Islamic development as places of learning in Muslim society.  Kata Kunci: Sejarah munculnya, Lembaga pendidikan Islam

Abstract

During this time the meaning of West and Islam are so strongly attached into a kind of stereotype for both. The emergence of certain assumptions about both sparked problems. Thus need for dialogue between the two civilizations which aims to break down misunderstandings, because basically in the existence of Western civilization-Christian, there is the role of Eastern civilization-Islam is very large, and vice versa in the formation of Eastern civilization-Islam, Christians also have a very vital role. So, both have relationships need each other. This paper seeks to provide a discourse of dialogue between the civilizations of East-Islam and Western-Christian, while reconstructing the new identity of Islamic civilization-Western, hoping to contribute to the realization of global civilization, world peace without destructive conflict and war.

Abstract

Language is a means of social communication in society. We can think and communicate our thoughts with language. Similarly science, culture, and civilization was basically learned and passed from generation by using the language. Without language the interaction and communication between humans is very limited. Likewise Arabic as a foreign language in Indonesia occupies a strategic position, especially for Muslims. It is not only the Arabic language used in religious rituals, but also became the language of science and the language of international relations. Arabic has the rules in respect of preparation of speech, ranging from words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. One branch of linguistic study that discusses the rules above is syntactically (Sharf), which addressed the issue of linguistic capitalize the word. While a construction smallest capitalize the word is the phrase. Furthermore, this paper will explain the construction of phrases in Arabic by the word constituent element, which is expected to facilitate the preparation of the phrase is true and can give understanding.

Abstract

Language is very important for everyone used to deliver information, ideas, and thought from a person to others. One of the oldest languages in this world is Arabic. It is used in oral and written form and it contributes to the development of Islamic thought tradition in some Islamic texts such as Qur’an, Hadits, Tafsir, Fiqih, Tasawuf, etc. Therefore, it is very important for Moslems to learn Arabic language especially in the realm of Islamic education as to gain deep understanding about the substances or contents (meaning sense) of the text. This article discusses about the important roles of Arabic in islamic education to increase the faith quality and good behavior of Moslems.

Abstract

Language is a key factor in the process of cultural change, especially in the context of a multicultural and globalised society. This article presents an in-depth analysis of how language integration affects cultural dynamics in society. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach combining linguistic, anthropological and sociological perspectives, focusing on several important aspects, including the notion of language integration, the relationship between language and culture, and the role of language as a tool of cultural integration. In addition, the article also explores the impact of language integration in a multicultural context, as well as the contribution of education and social media in the process. Thus, the article provides a comprehensive overview of the role of language in cultural transformation, demonstrating that language serves not only as a means of communication, but also as a significant agent of transformation in the formation, maintenance and change of cultural identity.

Abstract

ملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل العوامل التي تسبب صعوبات في تعلم اللغة العربية التي يواجهها طلاب قسم دراسات السياحة الشرعية، كلية الاقتصاد والتجارة الإسلامية كلية اللإقتصاد والتجارة الإسلامية، جامعة سيد علي رحمة الله الإسلامية الحكومية تولونج أجونج، الذين تخرجوا من المدارس العامة (SMA/SMK) في مؤسسات التعليم العالي الإسلامية الحكومية مثل جامعة جامعة سيد علي رحمة الله الإسلامية الحكومية تولونج أجونج ، كانت اللغة العربية هي مادة دراسية أساسية إلزامية لجميع الطلاب، بما في ذلك الطلاب في برامج الدراسة غير الدينية. ونشأت مشكلة حاسمة بسبب الفجوة في الخلفيات التعليمية، التي تختلف بشكل كبير. الطلاب الذين تخرجوا من المدارس العامة ولم تكن لديهم معرفة مسبقة باللغة العربية شعروا بأنهم متخلفون عن الركب وواجهوا مشاكل في تعلم اللغة العربية مقارنة بالطلاب الذين تخرجوا من المدارس الثانوية الإسلامية أو المدارس الإسلامية الداخلية. استخدمت هذه الدراسة طريقة وصفية نوعية لرسم خريطة للمشاكل التي حدثت. تحدد نتائج الدراسة فئتين رئيسيتين من المشاكل: (1) المشاكل اللغوية، والتي تشمل الصعوبات الأساسية في إتقان قواعد اللغة (النحو والشرف)، ونقص المفردات (المفردات)، والصعوبات في المهارات اللغوية الأربع (المهارات)، وخاصة التحدث (الكلمات). (2) المشاكل غير اللغوية، التي تهيمن عليها عوامل نفسية داخلية مثل تدني الثقة بالنفس، وقلة الاهتمام بالتعلم، والقلق. كما تساهم العوامل الخارجية مثل أساليب التدريس التي يتبعها المحاضرون وغياب البيئة اللغوية (بيئة لغوية). الكلمات المفتاحية: اللغة العربية، السياحة الشرعية، خريجو المدارس العامة، مشاكل التعلم، جامعة سيد علي رحمة الله الإسلامية الحكومية تولونج أجونج Abstract This study aims to analyse the factors causing difficulties in learning Arabic faced by students of the Sharia Tourism Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Islamic State University who are graduates of public schools (SMA/SMK). At State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) such as UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Arabic is a compulsory intensive programme for all students, including those in non-religious study programmes. A crucial problem arises due to the gap in educational backgrounds, which vary greatly. Students who graduated from public schools and had no prior knowledge of Arabic felt left behind and faced problems in learning Arabic compared to students who graduated from Madrasah Aliyah or Islamic boarding schools. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to map the problems that occurred. The results of the study identify two main categories of problems: (1) Linguistic Problems, which include fundamental difficulties in mastering grammar (nahwu and sharf), a lack of vocabulary (mufrodat), and difficulties in the four language skills (maharat), especially speaking (kalam). (2) Non-Linguistic Problems, which are dominated by internal psychological factors such as low self-esteem, lack of interest in learning, and anxiety. External factors such as lecturers' teaching methods and the lack of a language environment (bi'ah lughawiyyah) also contribute. Keywords: Arabic Language, Sharia Tourism, General School Alumni, Learning Problems, UIN Tulungagung Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar bahasa Arab yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pariwisata Syariah, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung yang berasal dari lulusan sekolah umum (SMA/SMK). Di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) seperti UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, bahasa Arab menjadi program intensif wajib bagi seluruh mahasiswa termasuk di prodi non-keagamaan. Problematika krusial muncul akibat adanya kesenjangan (gap) latar belakang pendidikan yang sangat beragam. Mahasiswa lulusan sekolah umum yang tidak memiliki dasar bahasa Arab sebelumnya, merasa tertinggal dan menghadapi masalah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab jika dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa lulusan Madrasah Aliyah atau pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memetakan problematika yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi dua kategori masalah utama: (1)Problematika Linguistik, yang mencakup kesulitan fundamental dalam penguasaan tata bahasa (nahwu dan sharf) , minimnya perbendaharaan kosakata (mufrodat) , serta kesulitan dalam empat keterampilan berbahasa (maharat), khususnya berbicara (kalam). (2) Problematika Non-Linguistik, yang didominasi oleh faktor psikologis internal seperti rasa rendah diri, kurangnya minat belajar dan kecemasan. Faktor eksternal seperti metode pengajaran dosen dan minimnya lingkungan berbahasa (bi'ah lughawiyyah) juga turut berkontribusi.
