Abstract

Desa Sukadana Baru memiliki beberapa kelompok tani dan disatukan dalam Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan) Cahaya Baru yang beranggotakan 25 orang. Gapoktan ini memiliki areal perkebunan rakyat sekitar 50 ha, tetapi produktivitas tanaman perkebunan lada yang dibudidayakan menurun karena jarang dilakukan pemupukan. Rendahnya produktivitas lada karena pada umumnya petani lada belum intensif melakukan pemupukan sehingga produksinya rendah dan rentan serangan hama dan penyakit. Begitu juga dengan tingginya harga pupuk kimia dan juga ketersediaannya terbatas. Untuk meminimalkan kerugian yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas tanaman lada dapat dilakukan dengan teknologi pemupukan. Alternatif budidaya dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada, yaitu mengkomposkan legume cover crop untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pupuk kimia. Dengan melihat potensi tersebut, penerapan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mitra tentang teknologi pemupukan yang diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan produktivitas lada dan meningkatkan pendapatan warga Desa Sukadana Baru. Program penyuluhan ini akan dilaksanakan dengan ceramah dan diskusi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktek pelaksanaan pangkas bentuk di lahan lada petani peserta. Untuk mengetahui keberhasilan program tersebut, akan dilakukan evaluasi awal, evaluasi proses dan evaluasi akhir. Evaluasi awal diberikan sebelum penyuluhan, bertujuan mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta tentang teknologi pemupukan. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, dilakukan evaluasi proses, bertujuan mengetahui keseriusan, keaktifan dan perhatian peserta terhadap seluruh materi yang diberikan. Evaluasi akhir dilakukan setelah kegiatan selesai. Evaluasi ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diterima Mitra setelah diberi penyuluhan dan pelatihan serta dampak langsung dari kegiatan tersebut. Abstract

Cinnamon is a spice rich in phenolic compounds and flavonoids with significant biological activities. This study aims to analyze the phytochemical profile and antioxidant activity of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii Blume) extracts from Jambi and Lampung. Extraction was performed using an ultrasonic-assisted method (40 kHz, 66 minutes, 35°C). Qualitative identification was conducted via Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (Py-GCMS), while quantitative analysis focused on total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), and antioxidant activity (DPPH). Results showed that geographical origin and solvent type significantly influenced the chemical profile. Py-GCMS identified key compounds such as 2-phenyl-5-carboxy-2H-1,2,3,4-tetrazole in Lampung extract and 1-phenyl-4-carboxy-4,5 in Jambi extract. Based on the high concentration of bioactive components in the initial screening, Jambi aquadest extract was identified as the best treatment. Quantitative analysis of this extract yielded a TPC of 64.51 mg/g GAE, TFC of 14.27 mg/g QE, and antioxidant activity of 15.74%. These findings confirm a strong correlation between phenolic content and antioxidant capacity in cinnamon extracts.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students’ and lecturer’s perceptions of the implementation of the peer review method in writing academic paragraphs at Politeknik Negeri Lampung. This research employed a qualitative approach with an exploratory design. The participants consisted of 40 non-language students from the Horticulture Study Program enrolled in the Indonesian Language course and one lecturer. Data were collected through classroom observation and semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that academic paragraph writing is essential for students, particularly in completing practicum reports and final projects. The implementation of peer review involved stages of writing, exchanging drafts, providing feedback, discussion, and revision. Students showed positive perceptions toward the method, becoming more careful, critical, and open to feedback. The lecturer also perceived peer review as effective in enhancing students’ engagement and autonomy. In conclusion, the peer review method is an effective instructional strategy for improving academic paragraph writing skills among non-language students in vocational higher education.

Abstract

Having digital literacy skills can support the writing of scientific papers to be more qualified. Various technical matters are sometimes often underestimated such as wasted time tidying up the position of paragraphs, difficulty finding reference sources, difficulty processing data using basic software. Difficulty compiling bibliographies automatically and so on. This is what actually backfires on technological developments. Instead of facilitating the process of writing scientific papers, it complicates the process. Therefore, the author analyzes the extent of students' skills in mastering digital skills to support writing papers. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' digital literacy skills reviewed from eight aspects, functional skills, creativity, collaboration, communication, the ability to select information, critical thinking, socio-cultural understanding, and data security. The method used is quantitative descriptive research. The results of this study indicate that students still face several obstacles, especially in creativity, sorting information, critical thinking, and data security. This causes the scientific papers produced to be less than good. With digital literacy in students, there will be a positive impact to facilitate the process of writing scientific papers. Digital literacy training and familiarization are needed to ensure students are able to optimally utilize digital literacy to improve the quality of their scientific work.
