Abstract

Kajian tentang desa wisata sudah banyak dilakukan, tetapi persoalan tentang peran pemangku kepentingan belum diungkap secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi peran pemangku kepentingan dan pengaruhnya dalam pengembangan ekowisata. Basis metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan mengandalkan wawancara langsung dan menggunakan platform media online, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai cara pengumpulan data. Data diolah untuk mengindentifikasi peran pemangku kepentingan dengan menggunakan NVivo 12 Plus dan dilanjutkan dengan metode analisis melalui pengggunaan matriks kepentingan dan pengaruh para pemangku kepentingan terhadap pengembangan ekowisata. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan sebanyak 13 pemangku kepentingan yang berperan secara berbeda dari lima sektor yaitu pemerintah, swasta, akademisi, lembaga swadaya masyarakat, dan masyarakat. Peran para pemangku kepentingan teridentifikasi dalam tiga kategori, yaitu regulator, fasilitator, dan pengelolah atau pelaksana. Lebih spesifik lagi, berdasarkan pengaruh dan kepetingan terdapat empat pemangku kepentingan berkarakter subjek, empat pemangku kepentingan berperan sebagai pemain kunci, lima pemangku kepentingan berperan sebagai pendukung, dan satu pemangku kepentingan pengikut. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa peran dan kepentingan mereka bergerak dinamis sesuai dengan komitmen pada prioritas dan target yang ditentukan.

Abstract

The Upanat is a special type of footwear designed specifically for climbing the structure of the Borobudur Temple. The design of the Upanat focuses on sponge-type footwear, material resistance to physical and chemical processes, and wearing comfort. The primary purpose of using Upanat is to minimize the friction between the temple stones and footwear, thus preventing wear and tear and maintaining the structure of the Borobudur Temple. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using Upanat at the Borobudur Temple, and a descriptive qualitative approach was used to collect data through direct interviews, observations, and documentation. The determination of the effectiveness of Upanat use at the Borobudur Temple was carried out in three stages: reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that Upanat is highly effective in reducing wear and tear on the stairs and floors of the Borobudur Temple, as it uses materials that cause minimal friction.

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan salah satu bentuk destinasi wisata yang diminati di era saat ini. Banyak desa wisata di Indonesia yang mengusung berbagai konsep pengembangan, salah satunya ialah konsep ekowisata. Namun, tak jarang desa wisata yang melabel dirinya sebagai destinasi ekowisata hanya sekedar latah dan mengikuti tren. Oleh sebab itu, penting adanya identifikasi prinsip ekowisata yang diimplementasikan di suatu destinasi pariwisatadalam suatu penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara secara langsung dan menggunakan platform media online, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Identifikasi implementasi prinsip ekowisata di Desa Burai dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yakni  mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desa ini telah banyak menerapkan poin-poin dari ekowisata, namun ada point yangbelum dipenuhi yakni kegiatan konservasi alam secara langsung yang dapat dilakukan oleh wisatawan. Padalah, kegiatan konservasi alam dalam konsep ekowisata  sangatlah penting.

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan salah satu bentuk pengembangan destinasi wisata yang dianggap mampu menarik masyarakat lokal untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam mengembangkan dan menggali potensi wisata yang ada pada suatu desa. Selain itu pengembangan suatu desa wisata diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang penerapan konsep Community Based Tourism (CBT) untuk mencapai pengelolahan destinasi wisata secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara secara langsung dan menggunakan platform media online, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Identifikasi penerapan konsep Community Based Tourism (CBT) dengan tiga tahapan yakni  mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengelolaan destinasi wisata di Desa Burai, Ogan Ilir berawal dari inisiatif masyarakat lokal yang disebut dengan local hero yang kemudian mengajak masyarakat lainnya untuk berpartisipasi dalam mengembangkan desa wisata dan menggali potensi wisata yang ada, membentuk lembaga atau kelompok masyarakat untuk mengelolah destinasi wisata, melakukan kegiatan konservasi lingkungan dan membuat beberapa usaha masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

The tourism development of Bantul Regency is planned based on the Bantul Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2020 concerning Amendments to the Bantul Regency's Regional Regulation Number 18 of 2015 concerning the 2015-2025 Regional Tourism Development Master Plan. The rapid development of tourism in the South Coast Region of Bantul Regency is certainly very helpful in increasing regional original income and can also improve the community's economy. One of the important things in tourism development and development is the management system of a tourism destination. Based on the Regional Regulation of Bantul Regency Number 18 of 2015 concerning the Master Plan of Regional Tourism Development for 2015-2025, Bantul Regency has 5 (five) Regional Tourism Destinations (DPD), one of which is DPD Segoro Kidul which has tourism potential that can be developed. With this potential, there must be good management so that the existing tourist attraction components can be used as tourism support. Components of tourist attraction and management of tourist attractions by using the concept of a tourist attraction component (4A) which includes attraction (tourist attractions), accessibilities (access), aminities (facilities), and ancillary service (institutional). The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by direct interviews, observation, and documentation. Identification of the management of tourist destinations in DPD Segoro Kidul with three stages, namely reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that component 4A has been realized in this area to be used as tourism products and supporting facilities in tourism processing in DPD Segoro Kidul. Coastal tourism destinations are still the leading product in this area, accessibility and amenities are also one of the factors that affect connectivity between tourism destinations, and stakeholder involvement is still an important actor in the management of a tourist destination

Abstract

This study investigates women’s participation in the development of Burai Tourism Village by integrating Arnstein’s Ladder of Participation and Longwe’s Women’s Empowerment Framework. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis with 10 purposively selected informants. The findings reveal a structural paradox: women are extensively involved in operational activities within community tourism groups (SORAI, KOI, Purwani), yet remain marginalized in strategic decision-making processes. Their participation is mainly at the consultation and placation levels on Arnstein’s ladder, indicating tokenism rather than transformative engagement. Access to higher rungs—partnership and citizen control—remains limited due to entrenched patriarchal norms within Pokdarwis leadership, which act as institutional barriers to women’s upward mobility. Despite showcasing innovation through educational tourism initiatives and digital adaptation, women's agency is constrained by these structural impediments. This study proposes a multi-pronged empowerment strategy: implementing a 30–50% gender quota in Pokdarwis, enhancing leadership capacity beyond technical skills, establishing women-led cooperatives, and embedding gender perspectives into tourism planning. Theoretically, this research contributes by integrating participatory and empowerment frameworks to reveal how gender norms evolve into structural constraints. Practically, it underscores the urgency of affirmative policies and sustained mentoring to transform symbolic participation into substantive involvement, thereby advancing inclusive and sustainable rural tourism development.
