Abstract

The culinary business is a crisis-resistant business because food is a basic human need. With the growth of the culinary business, Kopontren Musa’adah owned by Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo seized this opportunity by opening a culinary venture named Dapur Cita Rasa Berkah. To increase consumer loyalty, Dapur CRB uses the 7P marketing mix strategy, including product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study found that Dapur CRB utilizes members of Kopontren Musa’adah for promotions, offers a varied menu selection, is located in a densely populated residential area with an attractive layout for dining, relaxing, and meetings, provides Cash On Delivery (COD) service, and despite having many close competitors, conducts price comparisons directly in the field. They also offer packaging options tailored to the price for take-away purchases, and all tasks are carried out by 10 employees. The challenge faced is that the number of employees at Dapur Cita Rasa Berkah is only 10 people, divided into 2 work shifts, which is not proportional to the orders received, and the lack of understanding among employees regarding marketing strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di SMP Al-Bakriyah sebagai strategi peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan partisipasi siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan guru PKn serta siswa kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi berupa RPP dan foto aktivitas, serta angket siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual mampu meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa, terutama ketika materi dikaitkan dengan realitas sosial-budaya mereka. Unsur konstruktivisme, penemuan (inquiry), dan kegiatan bertanya terbukti mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman yang lebih bermakna. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu serta perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam beradaptasi terhadap pendekatan kontekstual. Namun, tantangan tersebut dapat diminimalisasi melalui komitmen guru dan dukungan sekolah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran PKn yang kontekstual, aplikatif, dan relevan dengan lingkungan sekolah berbasis keagamaan. Temuan juga menjadi dasar bagi kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung integrasi nilai-nilai lokal dalam pembelajaran kewarganegaraan.This study aims to analyze the implementation of contextual teaching and learning in Civic Education (PKn) at SMP Al-Bakriyah as a strategy to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and active participation. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving Civic Education teachers and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, documentation such as lesson plans and photos of learning activities, as well as student questionnaires. The findings reveal that contextual teaching significantly improves students’ interest and engagement, particularly when the subject matter is linked to their social and cultural realities. Elements such as constructivism, inquiry, and questioning activities were proven to foster critical thinking skills and enable students to grasp civic concepts more meaningfully. Challenges identified include limited instructional time and varying levels of students’ ability to adapt to the approach. Nevertheless, these obstacles were mitigated by strong teacher commitment and full support from the school. This study contributes to the development of contextual and practical teaching strategies in Civic Education, particularly in religious-based school environments. Moreover, the findings provide an important basis for educational policy that integrates local values into civic education learning.
