Abstract

Abstract: The number of positive incidents, mortality and mortality due to Covid-19 is getting higher. In 2020, around 76.7% of elderly people died because of Covid-19 from the total number of patients who died due to Covid-19. This increasing number is not in line with the activity of cycling trends that were rife during the Covid-19 pandemic. So that there is a mismatch with the principles of health sports, namely sports to improve the health status of sports players. Therefore, this study is important to do to determine the relationship between cycling trends during the pandemic and increased immunity, especially for the elderly. The research method used is a literature review of various research articles that have been published in various journals indexed by Google Scholar, Research Gate, Scopus, and PubMed. The articles reviewed were articles related to cycling and the immunity of the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the analysis of the articles that have been done, there is a relationship between cycling and the immunity of the elderly. However, the SARS CoV-2 virus can infect healthy people without symptoms which then spreads to the elderly and causes high cases of mortality in the elderly. So that it requires active participation by all parties to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and improve the immune system in the midst of a pandemic with cycling.

Abstract

Kelas pertama VIIA menerapkan pembelajaran think pair share, kelas kedua VIIC menggunakan pembelajaran two stay two stray, dan kelas ketiga menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional  (ceramah). Kata kunci: two stay two stray, think pair share, hasil belajar.

Abstract

The country should invest in health development to raise the standard of its human resources. The human development index (HDI) of a state can be impacted by health development as determined by the public health development index. Finding a prediction model for HDI in terms of public health development indicators was the aim of this study. The method used here is that for each district and city in East Java Province in 2018, secondary data on HDI and public health development indicators were collected. The Statistics Indonesia and the Health Research and Development Agency provided secondary data. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed on the data using the SPSS 26 program. Results show that the variables of toddler health, reproductive health, health services, health behavior, non-communicable diseases, and environmental health are significantly related to HDI, while the prediction for HDI based on linear regression model of this study is HDI = 44.831 + 20.347* indicators of health service indicators + 42.511* indicators of health behavior – 12.208* indicators of non-communicable diseases. Based on this model, it is necessary to pay more attention to health services, health behavior, and trends in non-communicable diseases in the community in order to increase the HDI rate in East Java Province.

Abstract

Indonesia has a significant population problem. The national population grows by a staggering 4.5 million people annually, and Malang is one example of a city experiencing this rapid growth. The government is implementing a program called "Kampung KB" to address this issue. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the participation of the people of “Kampung KB” Malang City. This study uses qualitative research with in-depth interviews, then analyzed using data triangulation. This research was conducted from September to December 2020. The research location was six “Kampung KB” in Malang City. The result of this research is that the implementation of “Kampung KB” in Malang City is carried out at the village level. In the “Kampung KB” there are fields, namely education, culture, social, economy, religion, environment, reproduction, protection, and love. Routine activities include service work, “Tri Bina”, long-term contraceptive methods, counseling, training and mentoring. Participation and enthusiasm of the community, which is quite good, is one of the benchmarks in developing these activities. But there is still less support from the government, especially regarding the budget for organizing “Kampung KB” activities, facilities and infrastructure such as places to hold activities in the “Kampung KB”.

Abstract

English is the world's international language of communication. In some countries, English is even a common language or mother tongue. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using English songs in improving students' listening skills. The population of this study is VIII-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Babahrot. The study involved two groups: experimental group that learned by using songs and control group that used traditional teaching methods. The experimental group, consisting of 23 students, took a pretest and a posttest to measure the impact of the learning intervention using songs on their listening ability. The comparison between the two groups showed that the experimental group showed greater improvements in English language skills compared to the control group, with a mean pretest score of 60.70 and posttest score of 74.43. The use of English songs significantly improved the listening skills of the grade VIII students. These results support the hypothesis that using songs into English language learning, especially in improving listening skills, can improve students' listen skills. This suggests that songs can be an effective strategy for improving students and used as additional materials to increase students' motivation and engagement in learning.
